Chapter Text
The night was dark, and the bar was empty but for the two men in the corner booth and a disgruntled janitor scrubbing away at the counter.
“Doktor.” Heavy gave Medic’s sleeping form a gentle shake. “Doktor, wake up.”
Medic didn’t move, but gave a little groan from where he laid. He was sprawled across his lover’s lap with his tie loose. The first two buttons of his dress shirt were undone; Heavy privately hoped that he’d be the one to undo the rest.
“Doktor, please.” Heavy stuck a hand under Medic’s hips. “We go home. I lift you now.”
A little snore came from the man, already fast asleep in his lover’s arms. Oh well, there goes his plans for the rest of the night.
Medic was limp as a rag doll as Heavy scooped him up as effortlessly as one would a kitten, awkwardly scooting out of the cramped booth before hoisting him into his arms bridal style and leaving the bar, nudging the door close behind him with the tip of his shoe.
The autumn night was blessedly cool as Heavy carried his lover over to their car. Medic wasn’t light by any means. He was a muscle-bound mercenary who could and had crushed a man’s skull with his bare hands on several occasions. But to Heavy, the current (and most likely permanent) record holder in that department, his lover weighed next to nothing.
With a faint grunt, Heavy shifted Medic from his arms to the backseat as smoothly as he could. Medic grumbled in his sleep, muttering something unintelligible under his breath.
He was beautiful like this, Heavy thought to himself, not bothering to stop a silly little smile from inching its way onto his lips. Medic gave another snore and shifted in his sleep. He was flushed and red and thoroughly intoxicated, more relaxed than Heavy had ever seen. Ends of his delicious salt and pepper chest hair peeked out from his collar. Heavy smiled and planted a quick kiss onto the top of Medic’s nose; any more and he would be spending the next couple minutes waddling off a boner.
“Moy prekrasnyy doktor.”
In his sleep, Medic smiled.
