Work Text:

The warm sunlight filtered through the thin cream-colored curtains of the place. The atmosphere was calm and silent, allowing anyone to immerse themselves in their own thoughts for long hours or simply be distracted by the colorful landscape that their blue eyes appreciated.

His gaze was fixed on the large park in front of the building where he was. There, two small children about seven or eight years old were playing. Both had arrived accompanied by some adults and, like any child in an open green field, they ran between small giggles toward the colorful playground equipment the park offered.

The children soon got bored and ran towards the people they associated as their parents. He gripped the window railing tightly, frowning when one of the children fell while trying to kick the ball. Tiring of the playground, they opted for the ball they had brought and left on one of the benches. However, the fall was immediately attended to by his father, a man with brown hair who knelt to dry the probable tears of his son, hugging him and whispering things in his ear before lifting him in his arms.

If only... No.

It would be too good to be true...

"Micha...?"

He slowly turned his head, diverting his gaze toward the call of his name. His blue eyes met a magenta color that radiated light, happiness, love, and much more just by looking at it. Alexis was the colorful presence in that white room where they both were, with innocent eyes and rosy cheeks. Alexis couldn't be more beautiful.

His omega wore a light blue robe that delicately slid over his shoulder, exposing part of his chest where a small being was silently feeding. The room also had a sweet scent of breast milk and pomegranate, characteristic of the German Omega.

"What are you thinking about, Michael? I feel nostalgia and melancholy through the bond." Alexis lowered his gaze to his little baby, gently rocking him when the little one began to move in his arms.

"Nothing, just things from the past that don't matter now."

Alexis bit his lower lip and carefully stroked the silky blond hair of his one-day-old son. "Then why does it affect you so much?"

Silence flooded the room, only the small sounds of their cub wanting to wake up after eating could be heard. He saw Kaiser tense up, seeing him direct his gaze once more toward the window.

He had been standing there all morning, since he woke up from the couch the nurses lent him to rest and accompany Alexis at night. He even rejected the breakfast the doctors offered him.

"Don't you want to carry him in your arms?" Alexis asked, wanting to break the silence that had formed. He looked attentively Kaiser's face, who was still staring out the window. What was he seeing that made him feel so bad? "Yesterday one of the nurses told me you refused to do it."

Kaiser sighed, looking one last time at the children who were with their parents in an environment of laughter, love, and above all, family, something he always desired as a child. To feel loved like those children. He looked away and walked toward the bed where the magenta-haired Omega was resting, who jumped in place at his abrupt movement.

His feet stopped in front of the bed. Alexis had a confused look, observing his features completely. His gaze traveled to their son, the little one who was peacefully and protectively resting in his partner's arms. A trembling sigh escaped his lips as he looked at the view, and he crouched down, burying his head in his Omega's neck, letting out a sigh.

Their son was small, no more than thirty centimeters, with hair as blond as the sun. His cheeks were chubby, painted a soft red, and his turned-up little nose was also rosy. His small and delicate hands were clenched into fists while holding his mother's robe, and his little face was hidden in her chest, smelling Ness's pheromones.

"I'm scared," he murmured in his ear, sighing deeply and clenching his jaw tightly. "I'm afraid of hurting him, Alexis."

The Omega sighed slowly, carefully adjusting their cub to hold him with one arm, then gently stroked his Alpha's blond hair, who was hiding in his neck. He felt his chest sink with sorrow. Kaiser had never behaved this way before. The only time he saw him shed tears was when he told him about his childhood, full of abuse from his father and his mother's absence.

He would never understand his Alpha's mother. When the doctors first handed him their cub, he cried with happiness. He didn't care that their little one was covered in fluids or blood. He just wanted to hug him, to know that their little one was breathing and healthy. That was his only happiness.

"You won't hurt him, Michael," he gently stroked his Alpha's blond hair, now understanding the reason for his insecurity, "because you're not like your father."

Kaiser pressed his cold nose against Ness's neck more, inhaling the sweet scent of pomegranate. He closed his eyes tightly. He didn't want to be like the man who was his father. In fact, he didn't even deserve to call him that. He was afraid of doing something that would hurt his son and make him hate him just as he did with his father. He was afraid of failing as a father and not giving his son the love he needed.

Alexis kissed the crown of blond hair. What else could he say to his Alpha? He also didn't have the best childhood he could have wished for. Alexis was the black sheep of his family and the only Omega in a family full of Alphas. If it was already strange that he was born Omega, his admiration for magic only made things worse.

His older brothers ignored him and hurt him when they were supposed to care for him by their own instinct. His parents simply turned a blind eye to him, as if he had never existed. He learned everything about being an Omega on his own.

"Your pheromones smell horrible now, Alexis." Ness wrinkled his nose at the comment, but he was right; their cub had started to wake up due to the abrupt change from sweet to acidic pheromones. His hand went to one of Kaiser's cheeks, wiping away the two tears that had escaped during his little venting.

Kaiser looked at the baby. The cub had his eyes closed but with a slight frown, and one of his delicate hands was holding Alexis's pinkie. He would have loved for their little one to be identical to Ness, to his Omega.

"Michael, I know neither of us had the childhood we needed. Neither of us has a warm family experience to guide us, and we're both inexperienced in this parenting thing, but I'm sure you'd never do anything that could hurt him."

Kaiser gently extended both arms towards his Omega. Damn it, he was so nervous he was shaking. He heard Ness's soft laugh before handing their little one to his father's arms. He saw the little cub frown even more, probably because he had been comfortable in Ness's arms. He didn't blame him.

He carefully held the cub's head, trembling, even hearing Ness's words helping him hold their son better. Once he felt the little one wouldn't slip from his arms, he saw their cub slightly open his eyes, revealing blue colors. He was identical to him.

"Thank you, Ness."

He murmured softly, even settling down to sit on the bed next to his Omega, who rested his head on his shoulder in the silence they appreciated with the newborn, caressing their son's cheeks and then kissing his Alpha's lips.

(...)

Alexis was lovingly and carefully combing the golden curls of their almost four-year-old daughter, who had a golden long-haired cat purring in her lap from the affection it received from the scarlet-eyed girl as she lovingly stroked its back and furry ears.

When little Elizabeth was born, Kaiser almost threw a party with the entire Bastard Munich team. Although the Alpha was a bit disappointed that their little one didn't inherit the red hair of his Omega, her magenta eyes somehow made up for it. To Kaiser's eyes and half the team (and more than half the press), she was Daddy's little princess.

"Is Dad going to take long?" asked Ryan, their older son, sitting next to him with a sigh of boredom, resting his head on his slightly rounded belly and hugging a stuffed toy tightly.

"I don't know, honey, but your dad told me he was already leaving his training," he murmured, sliding his hand through his son's well-kept blond hair, stroking his locks.

Their cub's boredom was evident from his voice and how he lay next to him on the couch, lazily swinging his feet and pouting his lips.

"Don't squish my sister, and that's my stuffed toy!" the young Kaiser shouted, quickly getting up and leaving the cat aside, shaking her blue dress to try to remove the animal's fur.

Ness shook his head amused. Here they go again.

"But I saw it first, and besides, I know it's going to be a boy," his son said, hugging the stuffed toy to his chest while clinging tightly to his right arm.

"But it's my stuffed animal and I'm going to have a little sister," the girl shouted.

The younger girl slowly approached with a slightly furrowed brow to snatch the teddy bear from her brother's arm with a yank. Ryan let go of her arm to place his hand in front of the girl, indicating that she should not come closer. Ness frowned, wondering why they never had these kinds of tantrums when Kaiser was around.

He quickly got up from the couch, catching the attention of both children who were about to pounce on each other to keep the stuffed animal.

"Mom! That's my stuffed animal and I didn't give it to him! "she said with her slightly teary blue eyes. Ness sighed tiredly, trying to crouch down to get on her daughter's level, something he couldn't do because the pregnancy no longer allowed him to bend down.

"I know, princess, but you promised your dad that you would lend your teddy bear to your brother when he wanted to play, remember dear?" he said softly, stroking her well-defined golden curls.

Elizabeth pouted and her trembling lips slowly lowered her head as she listened to his words. Her gaze also fell on her shoes. Kaiser had spoiled their beautiful children too much.

"Your brother will be sad, and so will your dad." Her daughter's little furrowed brow trembled along with her lips as she squeezed her eyes before letting out her first sob. "An apology and a hug, so Ryan won't be sad with you."

He wiped Elizabeth's tears with his fingers and Ryan placed the stuffed animal on the couch. The boy had remained silent and had lowered his gaze toward his sister while listening to his mother speak as well.

"I shouldn't have taken your things, I'm sorry" Ryan said, approaching to hug his sister.

This turned out easier than expected. Other days, the two children simply didn't want to see each other. Both had very strong personalities and ended up yelling and fighting over toys, mobiles, Kaiser's attention and his, the baby's gender, and even resenting each other for a few hours. They probably inherited their Alpha's temperament.

"I'm back."

Both children broke the hug and ran excitedly to the front door to greet the Alpha. Ness sighed, picked up the stuffed animal both children had abandoned, and placed it on the table.

He sighed tiredly. These were his current afternoons, although sometimes, deep in his heart, he also wished Kaiser would take care of the two children when they were both angry at the same time. He knew well that his Alpha would simply be dragged into desperation. For Kaiser, it would also be like arguing with himself, only in a miniaturized, both male and female, version.

"But they are my prince and princess, come here."

He approached the entrance of the large apartment, leaning his back against the wall, moving one of his magenta strands behind his ear. Elizabeth had her small hands on Kaiser's cheeks, explaining why the baby they were expecting should be a girl and not a boy, while her son clung to his left leg with a pout on his lips, ready to counterattack.

He placed a hand on his six-month pregnant belly. During his first pregnancy, Kaiser had been a bit distant, not knowing how to handle his mood swings and appetite. Both were inexperienced and scared, although he also appreciated a bit that his first pregnancy was not as hard as the others. He never experienced severe symptoms, not even nausea. It had been a blessing.

In his second and now third pregnancies, they experienced what they didn't with little Ryan: morning sickness. That unbearable pain of vomiting as soon as he woke up or with every smell that disgusted him. Even when he went to see Kaiser train, he ended up vomiting on poor Gesner, defending himself by saying that the annoying Alpha was eating something that upset his stomach from the start. Those first months were the worst, making him question why only Omegas gestated pups.

They also had to deal with midnight and strange cravings. Kaiser had to go out at 2:17 in the morning just to buy pig's feet and cappuccino-flavored ice cream, which moved Alexis so much that tears even welled up in his eyes when he saw the sleep still etched on his Alpha's face. One night, when the blond went to look for Ness, who was not sleeping by his side, he checked on his first pup sleeping peacefully in his room, and upon going down to the kitchen, he found Alexis with chubby cheeks, eating bread with mayonnaise, sweets, sardines, and jam on top.

Even this current pregnancy affected Kaiser. A few weeks ago, during a match between Bastard München and Barça, Kaiser ended up collapsing on the artificial turf due to the nausea and headache he was experiencing. He was so pale that he had to leave the match for a few minutes to be examined, only to be told he was suffering from Couvade syndrome symptoms. The symptoms affected Kaiser so much that they even ended up eating that sardine bread together in the middle of the night. There were nights when the Alpha suffered from insomnia, making Ness wonder if it was really him or Michael who was pregnant.

Another thing he was grateful for was that when Elizabeth was born, his little Ryan showed no signs of jealousy. He had always heard from other gestants that their children got angry or jealous due to the lack of attention toward the new baby. But his little one was barely two years old, and the real battle was caring for two babies, which was difficult but they managed.

The weight gain also made him more insecure, something that hadn't happened with Ryan and Elizabeth. When he dressed and looked at his body in the mirror, seeing the extra pounds he had gained, his traitorous Omega ended up telling him that Michael would look for a prettier Omega with a better figure, although the Alpha himself said otherwise at night while hugging him against his chest. He was also much more sensitive, no longer tolerating the sarcastic comments from the team. Kaiser even had a fight with Grim and Erick with Elizabeth in his arms, and little Ryan ended the argument by saying he preferred Yoichi as his favorite uncle over them for making his mom feel bad.

Sometimes people and paparazzi didn't help either. When he went to pick up his pups from daycare, people took pictures to post online and compare his body to his old photos or even to those of other people. Although he decided from the start that this shouldn't affect him, the paparazzi were so annoying that he ended up wearing Kaiser's loose clothes to hide his belly. Even Kaiser, fed up with the situation of making his Omega uncomfortable, ended up threatening all the paparazzi with a lawsuit if they didn't disappear from the penthouse where they lived.

Although Ness felt insecure about his own body, Kaiser was obsessed with his chubby thighs. With each pregnancy his Omega went through, his body became more and more exquisite in his eyes. His hips were so wide that he wanted to gently run his fingers over them to his abdomen and hold it. His chubby butt also made it difficult for him, he just wanted to reach out and grab the Omega, even his swollen and milk-filled chest, he loved to knead it and hear Ness's soft moans.

Ness laughed when he saw Kaiser almost fall to the floor as his daughter moved away. The older one approached, covering Ryan's eyes with his hand, while Ness covered Elizabeth's magenta eyes so they could kiss for a few seconds, then let both children run to the living room.

"How is everyone over there?" he asked as he grabbed one of the white bags Kaiser was carrying on one arm.

"As disastrous as always, I think it would have been better not to leave Real Madrid."

When Ryan turned three months old, Kaiser ended up taking his family to live in Spain. He had asked the club for paternity leave to help his Omega during the first few months of raising their son. When the leave ended, he didn't hesitate to take his partner and son to live in the European country.

They ended up living in Spain for almost a year and a half, the length of Kaiser's contract, and then they left the European country so that Elizabeth could be born in Germany. Both experienced a shocking event when Ryan got sick a month after moving to Spain. Kaiser barely knew some basic Spanish phrases, while Ness only knew the most common words in the language. From that day on, they swore that when Elizabeth was born, they would return to Germany so she could be born in her home country and Alexis could be more comfortable.

"I want to keep playing for the team, but I would have to wait about two more years to rejoin.

He saw Kaiser enter the kitchen to help him take some cookies out of the oven since Alexis couldn't bend down. He saw him raise an eyebrow while leaning against the refrigerator after hearing him speak.

"Are you thinking of going back to Bastard München?" he asked, grabbing one of the cookies. "I thought you were planning to retire."

"Why?" he murmured curiously, leaning his hip against the pantry.

Kaiser smiled languidly, making him shiver when the Alpha approached, positioning himself behind him and placing one of his hands on his hip.

"With how many times I've gotten you pregnant, I thought you realized I preferred you here at home with my pups and me."

Color rose to his chubby cheeks and ears as he covered his face with one of his hands while Kaiser kissed his neck and slid up to kiss his ear. He elbowed him in the abdomen when he saw him slide one of his hands inside his shirt.

"The kids are in the living room," he warned nervously while pulling away and placing his hands on Kaiser's firm chest. The Alpha didn't want to stop his instincts and started kissing his collarbone with wet kisses. "Kids, your dad is asking if you want a little brother or sister."

Kaiser immediately took a couple of steps back when small footsteps were heard from the living room, entering the kitchen. He gave him a frowning look for interrupting his moment of touching his chest.

Ness sighed, adjusting his shirt, to carry a tray of chocolate to the living room before giving the Alpha a smile as he tried to calm the kids' excitement. Elizabeth clung to his right foot while Ryan held onto his left foot, and not to mention when the large furry cat approached to purr at his feet.

Of course, it was easy for Kaiser to get rid of the kids when he mentioned he had a few gifts for them in his backpack. Both little ones ran to rummage through the bag while they waited for the Alpha to arrive with the tray of cookies in his hands.

"Stop spoiling them so much, Kaiser," Ness murmured, sitting on the couch with a cup in his hands. Kaiser sat next to him, wrapping his arm around his shoulder, watching their kids devour the cookies.

"I can't; it's inevitable not to."

"You bought your daughter a white 4x4 model car when she was just one year old, Michael, one year. She couldn't even reach the tiny pedals, and you bought it just because she touched it for a second."

"Whatever my kids touch, I buy it," he replied simply.

He watched the cat purr in his son's lap. Mr. Whiskers had also been a gift from Kaiser to Ryan when the younger one saw the large, elegant cat breed in a magazine. Despite thinking it was absurd to buy a purebred cat and considering adopting one, three days later, Kaiser arrived with a four-week-old kitten in a ribboned box, just like the one in the magazine his son saw. He was shocked when Michael told him the cat cost $1500, not to mention the large cat tree, premium kibble, numerous toys, and litter.

He rubbed the bridge of his nose, tired, knowing that arguing with Michael would be a lost battle. Although Kaiser himself knows that material things are not enough love, he makes an effort to take his kids out for walks. When Elizabeth asked him to invite Yoichi over because she wanted to spend time with her favorite uncle, he had to swallow his pride and let the blue-haired Alpha in.

"Micha, how is Isagi's partner?"

"Ha, after that idiot found out he was going to be a dad, they pelted him with balls," he brought the cup to his lips, trying not to laugh at the scene he imagined. "Although the Omega is fine, Yoichi was pretty stupid not to notice that his partner was almost four months pregnant."

"You know I also kept practicing when I was a few weeks along, right?"

The Alpha nodded. "I'm still surprised that Omega played in that condition for about five games and didn't have any problems. By the way, I'm taking Ryan to train with me tomorrow."

He nodded, resting his head on his chest. Ryan loved when Kaiser took him to training; the Bastard Munchen team let him train and participate in games with them, keeping the boy from getting bored and giving him memorable moments with Kaiser. It was the same with Elizabeth; the little princess was taken for walks and toy shopping whenever she timidly approached. Both children weren't ones to ask for much, though they got excited like any child when they heard the word "gift."

"I love you and thank you for giving me this family," Ness said.

Kaiser turned to look at him, taking his cheeks to plant a kiss on his lips.

"And you, I no longer spend winters cold; now they are warmer," he murmured, watching the kids eat cookies in front of the modern fireplace in the penthouse. The warmth of the family wouldn't exist without the presence of their children and Ness.

He knew he would always be in debt to the magenta-haired Omega for giving him the opportunity to be a dad and better than he could have imagined.
