You can’t know someone without talking to them
But is that really true?
Right now I know everything
But I’ve never even looked at you
They all fall in love
With guys with seductive glares
Staying up all night
Messing up their makeup and their hair
While I sit here and wait
Knowing you’ll never come
You’re just words on a page
To which I will always succumb
I’ll get older but not wiser and you’ll never age
Why can’t real guys be like you
If something were to happen to me
There would be no limit to the damage you could do
I sit here and wait
For you to magically come into existence
Or to at least meet a guy remotely like you
But I know its hopeless
This man only exists in my dreams
Never to be true
