You sat there bothered, awaiting your boyfriend’s arrival home. He usually brought home little treats for you two to share, but for one odd reason he was home later then usual.
“Hey y/n! I’m home”
Ranpo places a bag of groceries on the kitchen counter and made his way to the couch, sitting beside you and wrapping his arm around your shoulder, you greeted him with a wave and a soft smile
“Hey Ranpo, how was work today, What crimes did you manage to solve?”
He let out a chuckle, you looked at him with a blank stare he then turned to face you.
“Oh, you were serious?”
You stared at him with a bothered stare as he thought you were joking
“it was a simple question, why would it be a joke.”
“I apologise y/n, its just you said manage as I couldn’t have solved the crime anyway”
You stood up from the couch and the embrace of your boyfriends arms, you then walked over to the bag that sat on the counter looking inside fascinated on what he had gotten this time.
“you really are always most happy to see what I got for us aren’t you y/n?”
Ranpo cooed from the couch watching you scavenge through the bag chuckling to himself slightly. As you rummaged through the bag you saw a packet of your favourite sweet, Mochi
“awh! You got (flavour of your choice) Mochi!”
You ran back to the couch jumping on him making a rough yet lovely embrace
“yeah, your welcome y/n”
He smiled softly knowing he has made her completely forget about the fact he was home much later then we usually was.
