Year 2261.
Born into a cheap farmer home.
The small cries of a newborn echoed from an old shack. The sun rising and slow wind blowing through the field, a small farm at the side of the shack where the corn gently swayed to the wind.
Inside the shack where a man and a woman sat on piled matresses was a baby was cradled in their arms. "Oh.." a soft and adoring sigh left from the woman, holding the newly born creature. "Oh baby.." the man sobbed out with a wide smile as he gently wiped the fluid off of the crying babys face. The pair had been wishing for a child as long as they had been traveling through the wastelands together, pregnancy in an isolated farmplace like theirs was the hardest time for the both of them and it was about to get even harder with the newborn, but they could not be happier.
"Little Julie." the mother cooed as the baby gripped its hand around her finger.
"Juliee!" a feminine voice sing songed from the farm and a rhythym of little tip taps came from the field instantly. "yes mama?" a small face peeked from between some corn straws, big brown eyes and strands of ginger hair tucked behind her ear. "Could u please go bring daddy his lunch, he forgot it again when he went to the mart." the woman sighed as she kneeled picking up the lunch pack. "yes mama!!" the girl ran up to her mama and gripped the lunch pack with her little hands. "Now, remember to follow the trail." the woman said gently but sternly looking at the girl. " and remember your clicker. Okay?" the girl nodded smiling and clutched the little object hanging from her belt. The woman sighed with a gentle smile and rose back to her feet. "go on then my little deathclaw." the girl giggled and jumped up opening the farm gate and waving at her mom "Love u momma!" the kid shouted w a smile before skipping off to a small trail going towards the little town in distance.
Little Julie stepped through the dry grass silently with a fast space, a small smile on her face as she held the lunch pack in her hands, soon in the distance there was a tall figure and the girl stopped in her tracks furrowing her brows with her tongue out. She crouched down slightly going behind a fallen wood bark, reaching with her other hand she took the little clicker from her belt and peeked up behind the tree to look at the figure before pressing the thing twice. *click click* the figure stopped for a second before another *click click* could be heard from the man and rhe girl jumped up from behind the tree running towards him. "Dada!" the man kneeled down, a rough face with a greying beard and a wide smile. "Little reptile! What are u doing here u trouble maker huh?" the man laughed out as the girl crashed towards her hugging him tight. " u forgot ur lunch!" the girl proudly smiled and held out the lunch pack. The man looked down surprised "Oh, dumb me. Thank you filly." he smiled and ruffled his daughters hair. Julie giggled as the man took the lunch pack from julie with a smile, putting it in his backpack before looking down at julie who was smiling up at him with puppy dog eyes. Dad sighed dramatically with a smile "yes..ye can come with me to the mart." he chuckled as julie immediaetly jumped on her feet gleefully "yayy!!"
The walk to the mart was fairly short, dry grass and leaves crunching beneath their feet as they walked the small path. Countless years of people and caravans walking through the woods and making their own soulpaths as the roads got blocked by crumbled buildings. The super mart was huge, a small caravanbat the once been parking lot setting shop. Julie and her dad stepped down the path and finally down to the grey pavement, walking up to the men outside the half crumbled store. Julie waved at the men as they and her dad exchanged words, starting up a pleasant chat as they traded a few items. Little julie was really never about talk unless it involved her interest in insects or drawing so she just set on sitting down on the pavement, picking up rocks as her dad did the businness.
"Fifty caps? Are ye sure." she could hear her dad questioning as julie picked at a rock. "im afraid so..the prices in town have been goin up lately n i gottae get it back somehow.." one of the men said apologitecally and julie looked up to watch the man rub his neck with a smile. "
