"Come on, idiot, we're going to be late!" Katsuki shouted from the living room. Today was one of the few times that both men had days off from work so, they decided to have a date. Katsuki has been waiting for over 30 minutes now. "What is taking you so long?!" "Kacchan, calm down, I'm ready.." Izuku finally comes out from their shared bedroom, wearing a dark green tux. "You look good, Kacchan!" "Tch, shut up, dumbass, we're running late!"
Both men's phones ping with a notification of a villain attack. Katsuki groans and tosses his phone to the side. "Now, we can't have a date..." Izuku knows this was something Katsuki was looking forward to and now they have to go help fight a villain. "Kacchan, maybe we can have our date tomorrow? I have the day off" "I don't, idiot..." Izuku's heart sinks at that. He hardly got to work with his husband, go on dates with him, or even just spend time together since they were both big heroes. "Come on, we've gotta help them- OI!" Katsuki shouts as Izuku pulls him back and kisses him. It's a passionate kiss, the kind they rarely get to share.
"...Where did that come from, Izuku?" Katsuki questions, having loved it all the same but refusing to admit it, being his tsundere self. "I thought I'd give my husband a kiss since I rarely get to. Is that a problem? Because I don't have to if you don't-" Izuku gets cut off as Katsuki pulls him into another kiss, pulling away for a moment to whisper. "They can handle this villain on their own, let's go on our date.." "A-Are you sure? What if they need us?" Izuku wonders aloud, wanting to be sure this was the best move for them. "I'm sure, now let's go before we change our minds, okay?" Izuku hesitates before agreeing "Alright, let's go on our date. We deserve it any way, we are the no.1 and no.2 heroes!" Katsuki smirks as Izuku reminds him of their titles. Izuku being the no.1 and Katsuki being no.2, Katsuki doesn't even mind that he's not number one, as long as his husband is happy. Izuku takes Katsuki's hand and they leave their penthouse, heading to their favorite restaurant.
As they arrive at the restaurant, they see Eijirou Kirishima, Katsuki's friend since their years at UA, eating dinner with Mina Ashido, his girlfriend. "Aw, looks like we're not the only ones ignoring the villain message" Izuku says to Katsuki, finding it cute and funny. Katsuki smirks and rolls his eyes, "Shitty Hair and Raccoon Eyes were always soft for each other, seeing them dating isn't a shocker." "Maybe, but it's still cute!" Katsuki gives a genuine smile for once, finding Izuku's joy for Eijirou and Mina, cute. "Hello, do you two have a reservation?" A staff member asks. "Yes, it's under Bakugou" "Alright, follow me, sirs!"
They sit and order, having a peaceful dinner and night. After they arrive home, their both tired, since the paparazzi found them. "Finally, those damn extras are gone.." "For once, I agree, I'm thankful they're gone.." Izuku mutters, agreeing with Katsuki for the first time in a long time "Finally, you agree with me that they're annoying!"
"..Shut up before I Detroit Smash you into the sun.."
"Calm down, I was just kidding... A little... Okay, I wasn't kidding, but no need to get violent.."
"..Getting violent is your whole thing!!" Izuku retorts, getting annoyed since he's tired. "I think you're ready to go to bed.." "Shut It!! I'm not tired!... Well, maybe a little..." Katsuki sighs and picks Izuku up, startling him. "Hey! Put me down!" "No, not until we're in our room" That night was one of the most restful and relaxing nights they had.
