Play.. Play..
Go.. Goo.. Time to play..~
A cheerful hum came from his lips. His steps stomped happily, towards his room which was pitch black because he didn't turn on the light.
"Bunny!" He squealed, tightly hugging his shabby rabbit doll which was on his bed.
"Bunny, do you want to accompany Gyu to play, hum? Yes, yes, you have to, you just have to. Gyu doesn't want to accept rejection, basically! Don't be like Mama, okay?!" Bunny sank into his arms, swaying from side to side following Gyu who looked very happy with the little giggling sound that Gyu couldn't stop.
"Bunny, you know what? We're just the two of us now. There's no one at home. Mama said she wanted to go. But Gyu doesn't know where Mama is going. Hm, it's not important, anyway, where Mama is going. The most important thing is Bunny and Gyu just the two of us hehe." Gyu continued to giggle. Her eyes were curved like crescent moons and her white teeth were cutely poking out between her lips.
"Bunny, you still remember the game, right? Uh, when was the last time we played, huh? Hum, two months? Three months? Eh, or four months ago, huh? Ughh, Gyu's brain feels like it's going to explode just trying to remember- Remember that. Well, don't think about it anymore, Bunny. If you forget, I'll just teach you again, it's easy!"
Then Gyu got up from his seat and took his toy which he kept in his locker. Gyu brought Bunny under his study table. He placed Bunny on his lap. For a moment, Gyu stared intently at Bunny, who looked very shabby with fur that should have been white but was now brown and dirty. Gyu doesn't care how shabby and dirty the doll is. In fact, he looked very happy, and he hugged Bunny again very tightly. Gyu loves Bunny because Bunny was given to him by Mama. Gyu loves Mama.
"Now, let's play! Go.. Go!!"
Gyu looked at his toys, the shiny ones, the pretty ones, the ones that reflected his face, and the sharp ones. Gyu looked at the reflection of his smiling face. Pointing his toy at the white skin of his arm like that was something he usually did.
One..
Gyu counted.
Two..
"Bunny, do you like the color of your fur? Look, it's red. Isn't that nice? Hihii."
Three..
Red, Gyu's smile grew even more as the red continued to drip from his skin. Red, Gyu likes red!
Four..
Useless! Useless child!
Five..
Why should a useless child like you be born from my womb! You useless child!
S-six..
Test test..
Sob
Se-seven..
Stupid kid! Don't know what to make of it! Useless! I regret giving birth to you! It's embarrassing!
Eightt..
Sob sob
Nine..
Son of Devil!!
T-ten..
"Bu-bunny, you l-like the color, don't you? R-red, that's p-pretty, right? Bunny, do.. do you want some more? C-come here, I'll give you.. you lots of it!"
The red continued to flow down the skin of both arms. Gyu rubbed them on Bunny's fur. Now Bunny is even more beautiful with a deep red color stained on her feathers.
Gyu looked at his arm. Hum, why does Gyu feel dissatisfied, huh? Gyu looked once again at Bunny in his lap, then he placed Bunny carelessly beside him.
Eleven..
Gyu pressed the tip of the toy again, this time on the white skin of her thighs. That pleasant sensation filled his senses again. And Gyu smiled brightly again.
Twelve..
Then so on, so on, and so on. Gyu didn't know how long it had gone, but red had now filled the skin of his thighs. Gyu is happy, but why do his tears keep flowing, huh? Gyu is fed up. He doesn't like tears. He prefers red because it is fun. Gyu likes red and hates tears because it interferes with his vision when he is playing.
Gyu lay down his small body, curled up with Bunny in his arms. The moon peeked through the open window curtains. The wind makes the atmosphere and the floor colder. Gyu shivered but he didn't want to move. Red flowed more and more and wouldn't stop from one of his arms. Gyu didn't know why. Did he carve it too deep, huh?
Gyu doesn't care.
"Bunny, Mama said, Gyu is a completely useless child, and it's embarrassing. She also said, Gyu is the devil's child. That means Gyu is not Mama's child, right." Gyu didn't know why his tears were flowing freely again. Gyu hates tears because they interfere with his eyesight.
"Bunny, if Gyu goes, Mama will be happy, won't she?" Wet eyes stared straight at the red that wouldn't stop flowing down his arm. Even though Gyu already felt like his head was going to explode. "Gyu wants to make Mama happy. I really want to. But Mama never liked Gyu. So Gyu wondered, would Mama be happy or not, if Gyu left?"
Bunny's feathers were getting redder as the floor was full of red. Gyu felt increasingly dizzy. His eyelids became droopy like they were going to sleep at any moment. But Gyu still didn't want to sleep. Um, Gyu had forgotten what it felt like when Mama hugged him tightly like he was now hugging Bunny tightly. Gyu really wants to feel it now.
"Gyu wants to be hugged by Mama."
But until the night got darker and the floor got colder, Mama still didn't come. Gyu shivered even more with his lips turning blue. His skin was pale white as snow, the red on the floor was starting to dry out making him feel like they were stiffening him. Meanwhile the red on his arm continued to flow as if it never wanted to stop. Gyu felt increasingly sleepy. Gradually, he wanted to sleep immediately because the pain began to penetrate every inch of his skin. Bunny had long been out of his arms. The red on Bunny's body also started to dry up.
Tikk.. Tokk.. Tikk.. Tokk..
The ticking of the clock was like a lullaby to sleep. Gyu looked sadly at Bunny, "Bunny, Gyu loves Mama and Bunny too. Bunny, please take care of Mama, okay?"
Gyu smiled as his consciousness began to erode.
Gyu loves Bunny because Bunny was given to him by Mama. Gyu loves Mama.
Gyu likes red because red is fun. And Gyu hates tears because it will disturb his eyesight. But this time the tears flowed right after his eyes closed and darkness blocked his vision.
Gyu hates the dark, because the dark makes him unable to hug Mama.
Fin.
