Chuuya looked at his apartment. It feel expensive yet homey on a weird way. The couch is in thousands. Bed is in thousands. Even his wine bottle is in thousand.
Yet all Chuuya felt is dullness.
He is never in the first place. At least not anymore, after Flag’ death.
Kouyou still hang out more with Kyouka. He did try to set appointment with her for tea but most of the time, she says she is busy. But when he look for her, she is hanging out with her girls and even go out with Kyouka to see fish. (Chuuya never went to aquarium before this).
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke is still trying his best to improve his ability so he can prove himself to Dazai. Even though Dazai already acknowledged him. He’s the one to usually go over to agency to give paperwork or to get paperwork. (Chuuya is an executive and that seem to draw a line in Ryuu’s head that he and Chuuya can’t be friend or coworker. Just a mentor and a boss that he have to listen to.)
Akutagawa Gin is a really nice girl. She work hard to be an assassin and her work is shown. Chuuya even gave her feedback on how to improve and she thanked him a lot for that. Yet there’s always an invisible line that keep them away. Gin is drawing that line and he will respect her decision. (They are only 4 years apart. Shouldn’t they be able to hangout more especially outside the work hour?)
Izumi kyouka is a young child that Chuuya also took under his wing. Sure, Kouyou was the one to technically have her under the wing but still, Chuuya made bunch of time so he can take her out from the training and buy tofu for her. He even used his executive power to make sure her mission isn’t too dangerous. She doesn’t talk to him nor hang out with him. Both in Pm and during the truce.(He saw her smiling with Ada member and even went to get ice cream with Kouyou and hugging her. He never got a hug from her)
Everyone else is a same. They are friendly to him but always keep their distance away from him. They always say “Nakahara-San” even though he told them to call him, “Chuuya”.
and Dazai. He isn’t a good person, very manipulative. Yet, he always had a gaze that seem to be ready to cry and hid himself from the world. So Chuuya, being Chuuya did his best to be there for him. Talking a lot to get him out of his head and even reacting quickly like an angry Pokémon so he keep on teasing him and not hurting himself. He kept his head as empty as possible so Dazai won’t see who he really is. It was important that Dazai think he is naive kid who doesn’t have brain so he can relax around him. (Yet he betrayed him. Not even a goodbye note is left. A single text of bye would have been fine but he just disappeared when he was on over sea mission.).
Now, everything seem to be out of place. No one really needs him anymore. He isn’t worth anything to them. He is just another person who was just there.
It’s better if he stop pretending to be an angry executive who is the right hand of boss and the most dangerous person in the world.
He remember how few days ago, a person came to his apartment out of blue. A delivered package, sent by the number 2 guild that’s in charge of world wide delivery.

“Who the hell are you.”
Chuuya stood his ground as in front of him, a black haired person hold a package in front of him. He’s not stupid to cause some trouble, especially when the person in front of him seems confused on why he asked.
“Hello, I’ll take it as you being Nakahara Chuuya?”
Chuuya nodded and saw that person brighten up.
”Well, nice to meet you. I am —— from the “entra ”, a silvery guild and Im one of the delivery guys who do deliveries for a high costumer. You have a package sent from the younger you which you paid so it get sent to your future self.”
The person hold out the package to him but Chuuya just narrowed at him and the package.
”Proof?”
The person nodded and took out a card from his pocket.
It was a card that all high employee have to show proof to costumer. And this one have diamond symbol on it. That means the highest level a costumer can use.
”… do I need to sign anything?”
”Yup! So here is a confirmation on you receiving the package and your fingerprint to confirm that in fact it is really you. And if you need anything, please contact the guild. We are happy to help a high level costumer.”
Chuuya quickly looked over the paper and signed.
then the person gave him the package and bowed before disappearing. Possibly a teleportation ability.

And that Package had some stuff he wasn’t expecting.
A card with diamond symbol (the Entra costumer card)
A necklace with a Sun and moon together.
a black debit card with white rose (The Moy guild’s highest ranking debit card)
a tube filled with green substance
And a book.
it’s already weird enough to know that your past self sent you package using a high ranking delivery. (Meaning He was rich in the past). But to think a debit card with white rose and some necklace that seem to be out of place. Let’s also talk about a random book that seem to not fit in the weird rich feeling. And a weird tube filled with questionable green liquid.
And he was right. The book is a weird thing. It talk about his past and his life. His father is a cold strict yet caring man while his mother is an uncaring, outgoing person who like to dance in the rain and always smile.
He doesn’t have any sibling and don’t have pet either. His father is an insane man who killed out of boredom and fun. While his mother usually are the one doing torturing. They aren’t sane but from the sound of the book, they cared for him a lot.
He got whatever he wanted and his mother really loved him. His father taught him how to use every weapons. They didn’t have ability and was definitely surprised that he can use ability.
and then His past self created a religion dedicated to him?!? One thing about him being the light in everyone’s life whether it’s day or night. (So that’s what the Sun and moon is about). So he is a god in that religion. Great.
and then it get creepy. It talk about the lab that government have and how he is going to become a target. Becoming a vessel of god. Then talk about the explosion. The Europe’s experiment. The sheep. The flag. Dazai’s involvement. Adam. Paul’ fate. Dragon's Head Conflict. Reigo Island Seventeen-Victim Massacre. Azure Banner Terrorist Incident. Maruzen Building Bombing. and more even that have already happened. It talk about how Atsushi isn’t really going to lead people to the book. The soukoku of three generation even though the third one is questionable with how close it is to the age of the previous one.
Natsume, the mentor of the first soukoku doesn’t have connection to the book unlike what some may think and Oda could have been an author if he worked at the library and not port mafia.
There was more information but what really caught Chuuya’ eye is Dazai is being referred to as a kitty.
-I remember seeing A kitty when I went for a walk. It lived in a big mansion and had bunch of fancy thing but it looked dead. It seem to want to be free from something but all the money binds him to the place that can keep him safe from outside.
Maybe outside is better for him than inside. After all, cat domesticated themself to survive. Sometime, if something is done by a few will for survival, they will do it again. A domesticated cat can become wild again if given a chance.
But it’s trapped so it went on a path that it only knows.
Suicide.
I know it will survive but it looked happy to die. But not happy enough to face death.
Dazai Osamu, a smart kitty that’s trapped behind a fancy cage-
Chuuya closed the book before looking out the window. It was his day off. The book that he been staring at for few day have been read in few hour. The Sun is finally coming up and the book was right. Dazai is a wild kitty. Not a domesticated one that can be shown off by people who have power.
and maybe that’s why he ran the first chance he got.
Now that he think about it, Atsushi is a tiger which make him and Dazai a cousin by a long stretch.
The he saw a post it note on the back of book.
-the lab took most of your brain away but you are still alive. You heart is slower than normal but you blood flow and you aren’t your true self.
So take the green liquid when you want to heal. After all, the lab was supposed to be a way that you can gain humanity not power.-
welp that confirms it. He really did plan everything that happen in the lab. But to think most of his brain is missing. Such a weird thing to think about.
wait can he even think. And how? His brain is technically gone right? How is he not dead?
Whatever. It’s his day off he should relax. He should visit those store that just opened. They seem to be a new grocery store and if it’s good, he might as well just visit that one instead of other stores that seem to be always on low stock.
Ya, he is going out. The apartment is too stuffy. And he have a bank to go to.
