The movie started off smoothly enough, although it did feel a little creepy. Rei kept eyes glued to the screen, not realizing he was continuously munching on snacks and popcorn, causing him to grow incredibly thirsty and drink an excessive amount of soda. It didn't take long for him to realize that this was a horror movie. Of course, it was October, and Halloween was right around the corner. he felt stupid for not seeing it sooner. At first, he was relived that it wasn't porn, like he thought, as Nagisa was rather secretive on what exactly this movie was. However, this movie did seem pretty intense. Rei's nerves caused him to eat and drink even more than before. Then, suddenly, something jumped out in the movie, leading Rei to flinch and give a high pitched yelp. Not surprisingly, he was very easy to scare.
"Oooh that was a good one!" Nagisa cheered. He didn't seem all that bothered, unlike Rei who was now clinging to Nagisa without realizing it. Nagisa certainly didn't seem to mind.
Rei, however, was beginning to feel quite uncomfortable, and it wasn't because of the closeness with Nagisa. The combination of soda and nerves must have gotten to him, because that jump scare made him realize that he kinda sorta needed the bathroom, his bladder already felt painfully full. It's alright though, he thought, he just needed to put the snacks and drinks down. If he did that, he'd probably make it through the movie, he rationalized. Even though he had been to Nagisa's house plenty of times, he still felt uncomfortable asking for the bathroom. It would hurt, but he'd probably make it home. He could deal with pain better than anxiety.
But over time, the movie only got scarier, and more and more jump scares were messing with his head. He was now instead, sitting straight up, body stiff, whimpering and rubbing his legs together. It was mostly because the pressure on his bladder was getting worse, but he was also pretty scared. Nagisa didn't seem to notice, but still Rei tried his best to look as calm as possible. If the lights weren't out and it was anyone other than Nagisa, they would've noticed that something was wrong. "Just focus on the movie, the movie..." Rei tried to convince himself, biting his lip as he kept his eyes glued to the screen, his heart pounding from anxiety. But the movie was scary, and he winced a couple of times, keeping his eyes shut for a while. He couldn't do this, he had to go...he had to say something and get out of here.
"H-hey, Nagisa..." he said, "I need to do something. Can we stop the movie?"
"Aww, Rei-chan, are you scared? We can't stop the movie, it's getting really good now!" he said obliviously.
"No, you don't understand, I-"
"Here, I'll hold your hand!" Nagisa said, putting his hand over Rei's clenched fist. "Man you're tense." he frowned with concern, which then turned upward in a gentle, supportive smile. "It'll be fine, okay?"
Rei just sighed, the feeling in his bladder just getting more intense, and Nagisa's hand on his certainly didn't help calm his heartbeat. Then suddenly, another jump scare, and Rei yelped, feeling himself leak from the momentary loss of focus on holding. He hoped it wouldn't be visible when they turned the lights back on. "Oh god..." He thought. "This is even more embarrassing than the time I left my underwear in the bath..."
He felt even more restrained now, with Nagisa holding his hand. He squirmed in desperation, trying to keep his bladder under control. How humiliating it would be to pee himself, he thought. That leak was a fluke, he tried to convince himself. He snuck a hand down and held himself with his other hand...just in case. He assured himself again, 'Yes, this is just in case, not because I need to...' and it helped, a little bit, when combined with squirming and rubbing his legs together, at least. Now if only he could get his nerves under control, maybe he'd make it out of he-
"GAAAH!" he exclaimed, at a particularly startling graphic scene, his surprise had him jump up from the couch, pulling away from Nagisa's hand and then...
"Oh...oh no..." he felt it; a surprisingly familiar feeling of fluid leaking out and dripping down his legs. "Stop...stop..." he tried to will himself to stop, but his bladder was tired, the sound of urine trickling down his pants was noticeable. Oh how was he going to explain this, he thought, holding his hands to his face in shame as relief washed over his body.
"Rei-chan?" Nagisa asked softly, pausing the movie and getting up. "What's the matter...what's that sound...wait, are...are you peeing?"
"Don't look at me!" he muttered through his hands. He managed to stop it, but the damage was done. His pants were soaked.
Nagisa turned on the lights and went back over to Rei, whose face was bright red and looked like he was about to cry from humiliation, who was sure Nagisa was going to laugh at him...
"Oh man, you really did pee..." Nagisa said with concern.
"I'm so sorry..." Rei sniffled.
"Ack, no, don't cry, it's okay, shh." Nagisa wasn't very good at comforting, but he tried, giving Rei a small hug, making sure not to get himself wet. "I won't tell anyone! And you know, the same thing happened to Makoto last time. So don't feel bad okay?" he smiled up at him.
"I...wait, what?"
"I'll tell you about it later." Nagisa replied with a grin and wink. "Hey, would you like to use my shower? I'll try and find some pants that fit you, okay? It's no big deal, really."
"R-really...?"
"Nah, you can even stay over if you want." Nagisa was clearly unfazed by this, leading Rei to wonder even further about what happened before. Or maybe that was just how Nagisa was. The boy was hard to read.
"Thank you..." Rei tried to calm himself, but he squirmed, having not released all the contents of his bladder before. "But I still have to, um..."
"The toilet? Oh, it's this way!" Nagisa said, pointing to a door in the distance. Before Rei could go in that direction, Nagisa jokingly added, "don't have another accident on the way there!"
"...NAGISA....!!"
