The girl shouldn’t have been sacked, but if he said anything he could lost his chance to get that promotion. He’d been working non-stop on this project, hoping hard work and ass-kissing would be enough for Johnson to promote him.
But then came Olivia St. Jones.
She was a hard worker, yes. But she was outspoken and never tolerated disrespect.
Youth these days. Never wanting to play by the rules. Always wanting to change.
He know she didn’t steal from the main office.
Knew Johnson set her up; upset she had spurned his advances.
