Eijirou Kirishima and Katsuki Bakugou were in the grocery store not far from the home they shared on the outskirts of Tokyo. They were wearing typical grocery shopping attire with Kirishima’s usual vibrant red locks tucked back into a ponytail, with his dark, black roots showing through, wearing a very worn, very loved All Might sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. The dirty blond Bakugou was wearing Kirishima’s favorite Crimson Riot sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
Kirishima was following Bakugou as they went through the various aisles dropping items into the cart as they went. Bakugo was going down the snack aisle when he stopped and Kirishima nearly rammed into him from behind, too busy looking at all the snack options to pay attention to when Bakugo stopped.
“Shitty Hair! Be careful! I don’t want you to run into me and get us hurt off duty!” Bakugou lovingly raged as Kirishima got his footing.
“Sorry love, I was looking at the Sour Patch kids flavored Oreos. Would you want to try them?” Kirishima said as he showed Bakugou the package of brightly speckled golden oreos.
Bakugou looked at them and said, “We should get the regular oreos, the original is always better.” Kirishima rolled his eyes at that and took the package back from Bakugou.
“I think it's good for us if we try something new,” The red headed hero slyly said with a grin. “But if you have a problem with new sugary goodness then how about we get both original and these?”
“Fine,” Bakugou said, “anything for you, Shitty Hair.” Bakugou raised up slightly on his feet to reach Kirishima’s height for a quick kiss on the cheek. “Let’s go get your hair dye before we forget again.”
Kirishima proceeded to bounce on his feet for the rest of the grocery trip. He couldn’t believe sometimes that the bratty, angry, explosive teen was now his mature, still explosive but loving husband.
Bakugou silently shook his head as he contemplated his golden retriever husband who loved him despite his explosiveness and angry nature. Bakugou was grateful everyday for his loving, caring husband and how good he truly had it in this life.
