a one-night stand that became something more
Eris thanks his lucky stars that he felt the urge to walk into that specific little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop when he did and sat down at that particular table. Nesta’s usual spot, she had informed him, trying to secure it back for herself.
“We can share it,” he had said.
When Nesta first told Eris that she loved him, she had scrawled it on his bathroom mirror in her favorite ruby lipstick. Now that they are married, she has made an art of it, each letter perfectly shaped to greet him when he wakes on the morning of their anniversary.
