In this world, there are various types of people. The good, the bad, the selfish, the kind, the weird, the unique…
…and the ones that can turn to cats.
An orange cat happily walks amongst the humans on the busy street, earning a few pats and fur strokes from the passersby that can't resist its cuteness. The sun was setting fast, dying the sky in a colour similar to the cat's fur.
The cat has one goal in mind, a routine it have been doing for a while. Finally, it stopped in front of a nicely decorated bar. A bunch of office workers were scrambling in for their usual after work drinks.
It looked around for a second before running into an alleyway. A few seconds later, what emerged out wasn't a cat, but an orange-haired guy dressed in casual clothes. He casually walked into the bar, but not before cautiously looking behind him.
The moment he stepped in, he was immediately greeted with what he was looking for- the melodious voice of a woman, the charming bar singer Tsukasa Suou. He took a seat at the bar, ignoring the chit chats of the workers around him as he completely immersed himself in her voice. Only when the bartender asked if he wanted anything did he remember to get a drink. Soon, he found himself scribbling on a piece of paper he asked from the worker next to him. His inspiration was flowing out dangerously, and he must gather them in the paper before it disappears.
Or maybe aliens come to take away his genius ideas or something.
“Leo-san?”
He immediately lifted his head up from the paper when that ever-so-enchanting voice approached him. Leo looked at Tsukasa, who had finished her singing, walking towards him.
“Oh! Suo~” Leo's grin was as wide as ever. Tsukasa can't help but smile seeing the orange head cheerful as always.
“You're here again, Leo-san. You seem to come here everyday. Don't a composer like you get busy?” Tsukasa started the conversation after taking her seat on the barstool next to Leo's.
Leo tilted his head. “Busy? Wahaha! I don't know which composer you're talking about, but I'm never busy! I'm a genius, after all, so I can easily create something on the spot! I don't need much time so I rarely get busy!☆” he laughed, speaking confidently.
Tsukasa wanted to say something else, but she was cut off by Leo suddenly shoving the paper in front of him in her face. “Here! Check this out, I just wrote this song a second ago! My client wanted something beautiful yet sensual for her song, and I felt so inspired when I heard your voice, the inspiration just came out immediately! Thank you, Suo~” he rambled.
Tsukasa gently grabbed the paper and examined the music notes written on it. She hummed the tunes and soon found herself amazed as always.
“This is great, Leo-san! Even though there's no lyrics, I can already tell the story of this song!” she praised, earning a proud smile from the composer.
Looking at the younger’s eyes while she hums the notes made Leo's heart skip a beat. Sure, he's someone who easily falls in love. But now that he's looking into Tsukasa’s beautiful amethyst eyes, he wondered if what he claimed as ‘falling in love’ before is truly how it felt.
“You like the song, Suo~?” he snapped out of his thoughts once Tsukasa was done. The red haired abruptly nodded. “YES. It's a very nice song” she praised again.
“Then, you can take it!” Leo's offer made Tsukasa uneasy. “Huh? But… Isn't this for your client?” she questioned. Leo froze. “Ah.. Right, I forgot! Wahaha! But if you like it then I'll give it to you! I can always write a new one! The deadline is still far away anyway!” he reassured.
Tsukasa frowned. “That's not very RESPONSIBLE, Leo-san” she reasoned. “Awh, just take it! I insist!” Leo's grin softens Tsukasa's heart. She sighed. Looks like she's defeated by Leo again.
“Alright, thank you, Leo-san. I'll make sure to treasure this gift” she smiled.
“Sweet! Alright, bye-bye! I need to leave now!” Leo suddenly stood up. Tsukasa nodded, saying her goodbyes to Leo.
Leo exited the bar and went into that same alley again. He immediately let his guard down, his face turning into a shade of red similar to Tsukasa's hair. “Ugh… Why is Suo~ so cute? I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest if I stayed longer! Ah- aliens, don't you have anything to stop me from feeling this way?” he rambled.
“Wait- no! Don't take these feelings away from me!” he panicked and changed his mind as if the aliens or whatever really is going to take his feelings away. He leaned on the wall, laughing to himself. “Ah… Tsukasa Suou~ who are you really to be able to make me feel this way?”
He sighed before changing his human appearance into a cat. He scurried out of the alley, making his way home.

What a good day for Leo to be a cat.
The old lady who always feeds him gave him a new kind of treat = inspiration
He walked inside the newly opened cafe (before getting kicked out) = inspiration
He watched a vendor set up his shop for the day = inspiration
Leo happily walked along the streets, feeling content from all the inspirations he got this morning. Now, all he needs to do is find a piece of paper and a new masterpiece will be born!
He couldn't get more excited. He was ready to speed up his steps when his feet were suddenly lifted from the ground. He meowed helplessly as the person lifted his body.
He prepared his claws to attack when the person turned him around to face them.
“What a cute cat!" Tsukasa exclaimed. Leo was ready to pounce when he realized its Tsukasa. Instead, he immediately got back to his cute acts to at least earn a headpat from the singer.
“Hm~ Narukami-senpai told me that keeping pets can help with loneliness. Should I also keep one?" Tsukasa thought. “Ah~ but wouldn't that trouble the housekeepers?” she pouted.
Leo just stayed silent, copying Tsukasa's action when she tilted her head.
Tsukasa can't help but feel drawn to this cat she's holding. The way it seems to make expressions based on what she says, stayed put even though it was trying to escape earlier, and the way it just copied her moves.
“Your fur is so clean!” Tsukasa pointed out. Of course it's clean. Leo takes showers as human and that automatically results in his fur being clean as well.
A moment of silence greets them. Tsukasa seems to be deep in thought.

And now here he is, inside Tsukasa's room. He paced around aimlessly, admiring all the exquisite decorations. The furniture looked and felt expensive, the mattress is the softest he ever laid on. Not to mention the size of the room alone. Safe to say it's bigger (and definitely cleaner) than Leo's studio apartment.
“Does Suo~ really live here? It's such a big house! There's even maids everywhere!” his little heart exclaimed. "I wonder what I'm here for though. But this gives me so much inspiration! I need a pen! Anything!” he felt a burst of energy and immediately ran around the room trying to find anything he can get hold of to write with.
“KITTY~ I'm back!” the door freaked open, causing Leo to freeze. He just jumped on Tsukasa's vanity, and he's pretty sure that's not something he should do.
Tsukasa immediately panicked and moved Leo to the floor. "Ah.. Good thing you didn't make a mess. You ALMOST did though” she sighed.
She kneeled down in front of him, letting their eyes meet. “Your fur is orange and your eyes are green.. Kind of reminds me of someone” she muttered.
“Should I name you.. Leo-san? That works for a cat, right? You remind me of him a lot” she lifted him up. Leo's heart beat loudly. Is he excited because she was reminded of him, or is it because she named a cat after him?
“Okay then! Leo-san the cat! You're my new pet!”
Tsukasa’s announcement finally brought Leo back to reality. So that's why she brought him home?
“What do I need to take care of a cat, huh? I should do some research and buy the necessary EQUIPMENT. Maybe I'll consult Narukami-senpai” she spoke as she walked out of the room, leaving Leo alone once more.
He was flabbergasted. So.. Is he a pet now? Tsukasa's on top of that? What is he supposed to do? How is he going to be able to use his human form now? He definitely cannot let anyone know of his shape shifting abilities.
“Maybe this is a prank! Perhaps I was kidnapped by aliens and they performed a mind simulation on me! Yeah, that should be it!” he thought, even though that idea is definitely illogical. Not to him at least.

Spoiler alert: this is not an alien mind simulation.
It's been a few days since Tsukasa took Leo in as her pet cat. Good thing is that Leo managed to find a way to use his human form despite being someone’s pet. Since Tsukasa works during the day, he would use that time to go home or wander outside finding inspiration per usual. Whenever Tsukasa has time to go sing at the bar, he would be there as Leo.
One interesting thing is that Tsukasa often talks to him when he is in his cat form. She would tell him various things from her day at work to talking about her inner thoughts. Leo finds that habit of hers cute. And of course, her stories always brings him inspiration. That's a plus.
Tsukasa walks into her room after another tiring day outside. Thank goodness Leo managed to arrive earlier than her, considering they left the bar at the same time. He stretched his cat body and walked to Tsukasa, meowing.
Tsukasa smiled, picking him up. “I'm home, Leo-san! Ah, today is such a tiring day!” she immediately started whining to him. Leo readily listens to her. Well, he can listen to that voice all the time and not get tired anyways, no matter what form he takes.
She brought Leo over to the bed and sat down with him on her lap. “I talked to him again today, Leo-san!” she began. Leo's ears perked up, curious.
“Oh, I haven't told you about him right?” she laughed seeing the cat's reaction. His responsiveness is always fascinating to watch.
“He's a composer, I named you after him! He always shows up at the bar I sing at, and he even gave me a song the other day!” she told. Hearing Tsukasa talk about him, Leo's heart can't help but pound excitedly.
“Actually, you two almost looked identical. Your green eyes looked exactly like his… His eyes are very beautiful. It's so cute when it sparkles whenever he's composing. And your fur too. Just like his hair, messy yet it's charming, in a way”
If Leo was in his human form, his face would've been beet red right now. Who knew Tsukasa paid that much attention to him? Heck, even he didn't realise all those little details she so casually spoke about.
She suddenly went silent. Leo meowed to gain her attention again, curious since she seemed like she wanted to continue talking.
Tsukasa exhaled, a shy smile on her lips. “I know you're just a cat, but naming you after him made me think twice about saying this” she spoke. Leo can see her ears turning red.
“Leo-san, I think I'm in love”

“Suo~!” Leo waved. As usual, Tsukasa would approach him right after her performance ended.
“Leo-san! Nice to see you again!” she smiled. As soon as she sat down, the bartender handed her the cocktail she always gets.
“You're so formal, Suo~! That's no fun! Be more casual! Let loose! Wahaha!☆” Leo laughed. Tsukasa frowned. "Was ‘nice to see you again’ that formal?” she thought before deciding to just ignore it. She grabbed her drink.
Leo can't help but feel something weird in his heart. Just the sight of Tsukasa tucking a lock of hair behind her ear before sipping on her drink made him flustered.
Especially after what she told him last night.

“Leo-san, I think I'm in love. With the very person who I just talked about. At first, sure, he was very annoying when he kept showing up at the bar and trying to make conversations with me, but I soon find him to be a nice guy. He's ECCENTRIC, whimsical, fun… Talking to him makes me feel happy. Well, he can still be annoying at times, though” she chuckled.
“But I just can't help but feel a strange feelings towards him. Shamelessly enough, sometimes I would even begin to think of how it would feel like to be kissed by him. To be held by him, to just be with him as more than FRIENDS, you know?” she sighed.
“Ah… Leo Tsukinaga, who are you really to be able to make me feel this way?” she mumbled before falling onto the bed.

He snapped out of his thoughts when his ears caught the conversation of two men sitting not far from them.
“Isn't she the one singing earlier?”
“Yeah, I think so. Don't you think she looks really sexy in that dress?”
“Ah~ right. I wonder how her body might look like?”
“What do you have in mind?”
The next part of the conversation was inaudible, since they started talking in whispers. Whatever it is, Leo knew it couldn't be anything good just from the vibes the two men give out. He moved closer to Tsukasa.
“Hey, Suo~, careful. Notice those two guys behind me?” he whispered. Tsukasa immediately stopped focusing on her drink. She discreetly looked at the ones in question.
“Yeah. Why? Is there something wrong?” she immediately felt alerted. “I heard them talking about you. And.. Let me just say you're not safe” Leo informed. Tsukasa’s heart pounded loudly in fear. "What? What should we do?”
Leo gave the men another glance. "Pretend you're with me”
Tsukasa readily agreed to the suggestion. She and Leo moved closer and tried to act casual. At times, Leo would take a look at the men in secret and would always find them still with their eyes locked on Tsukasa.
The red head on the other hand can't help but get overwhelmed by the feeling of Leo's hand on her hip. Sure, it's only an act to drive the thugs away, but still. She felt silly for getting distracted when Leo is on guard. It's as if they changed personalities.
“Ugh, look at that guy next to her. Is he her boyfriend or what? How are we gonna get to her now?”
“He's probably not. Didn't you notice they were distant just a second ago? He's probably just like us, trying to get the girl. Just watch, I'll take her away from him”
Leo and Tsukasa looked at each other. Although their voices were very faint, they definitely knew what the two were talking about.
“They won't believe our act. What now?” Leo thought. “I'm not sure, maybe we do something to make them lose interest in me?” Tsukasa added.
There's a sort of intrusive thought in Leo's mind. “Then, I have an idea”
Tsukasa definitely wasn't ready when Leo's lips met hers in a sudden kiss. She immediately closed her eyes, shocked and at loss of what to do.
Leo watched as the guy trying to approach them displayed an unsatisfied expression. He whispered something along the lines of “she's with him, no chance” to his companion and the two left the bar.
He let's go of the kiss, his serious demeanor immediately disappeared. "Look, aren't I a genius? They immediately went away, Wahaha!☆” he celebrated. Tsukasa remained silent.
“Hm? Suo~ you okay?” Leo tilted his head. Tsukasa sighed. If Leo can listen to his intrusive thoughts like that, why can't she?
She suddenly came closer to him and continued the kiss in a more eager manner, much to Leo's surprise. He quickly adjusts himself to the situation and overpowered Tsukasa's energy.
The moment Tsukasa opened her mouth for air, Leo took the opportunity to add their tongues to the kiss. Tsukasa was taken aback, flustered and at a loss once again.
Finally, it was her who lets go of the kiss, gasping for air. She can see that Leo's face is red, which is probably the case for her too.
Leo licked his lips. He can still taste a bit of Tsukasa's cherry lip gloss.
“A-ah, Leo-san, I'm sorry! Excuse me!” with her face hot and red, Tsukasa ran away and exited the bar.

Leo jumped into Tsukasa’s room through the window. If only he didn't get distracted by that ufo-looking drone, he would've arrived earlier. The moment he is inside, he spotted Tsukasa on her bed, in a foetal position hugging her pillow. Her face is still very red. Leo meowed, jumping on the bed.
“Ah, Leo-san.. GOOD EVENING.." Tsukasa greeted. “Sorry, I'm not okay right now. I.. Just did something very STUPID” she muttered.
Leo half-knew what she was referring to. He's not even sure right now whether to tease her or to sympathise with her. Well, he's a cat right now so that doesn't matter.
Honestly, even Leo was still quite shocked by the kiss. He would have never expected Tsukasa to do such a thing considering her more serious and heavy-thinking personality. But that kiss… It seemed more spontaneous.
“I kissed him. I kissed Leo-san… He kissed me first to help me ward away those thugs and it worked… But I just can't stop thinking about it so I impulsively kissed him again…” Tsukasa continued to whine, her face already buried in her pillow.
“Tell me, Leo-san. Does ‘love’ really make you do STUPID things like that? I'm just worried he's uncomfortable and our friendship might get awkward after this..” she added.
Leo knew that's not the case. Because he now knows her feelings, and of course he knows his. If anything, they share the same feelings towards each other. Wait- does that mean they can become a couple now? That's what they are, right? Two people sharing the same feeling called ‘love’ towards each other.
Tsukasa rolled around, causing the mattress to move. Leo, who was deep in thought and sitting right at the edge of the bed suddenly couldn't keep his balance.
Leo let out a helpless meow as he fell to the floor.
“Ah! Leo-san, are you alright? I'm SORRY-” Tsukasa went to the edge of the bed to help her cat, but what she saw was the figure of a very familiar orange haired man.
“Ow…” Leo rubbed his head. That's when he noticed- he's not a cat anymore.
“Wargh!” Tsukasa screamed, followed by Leo's panicked expression. He must've accidentally turned back into his human form when he fell down. Somehow.
He immediately turned back into a cat, but it was kind of too late.
“L-L-L-Leo-san??!” Tsukasa looked at him in shock. She immediately went ahead and picked him up from the floor, looking at him like he was an alien. Leo meowed innocently, trying to act like whatever happened didn't happen.
“Leo-san… How… What just happened?” Tsukasa questioned. “I knew I saw Leo-san- I mean, the human Leo just now! When you fell! Then suddenly you turned back into a cat?"
Oh dear. She noticed everything. Leo panicked internally.
“You're Leo-san, right? That would make sense considering how familiar you two look… Wait- what am I thinking? How can someone turn into a cat? This is making no sense…” Tsukasa's voice trailed off.
She suddenly turned back towards Leo with a determined expression. “You know what, Leo-san? I don't know if I'm going CRAZY right now, but if you're actually Leo- the human Leo, I want you to reveal yourself!” she requested.
Leo was quite shocked by that request. Well, he can't say he doesn't agree though. At this point, his panic has turned into curiosity. Like, what if he reveals his secret? One person won't hurt.
Leo jumped out of Tsukasa's arms and stood away from the bed. Tsukasa watched him curiously. The moment she blinks, the cat she saw earlier suddenly turns into the composer.
“So.. There you go! Yep! I'm Leo Tsukinaga, the genius composer all along! Wahaha!☆” Leo spins around. “What… I was.. I was just joking around.. How is that possible?” Tsukasa couldn't believe her eyes. “I don't know! Maybe I was kidnapped by aliens and they gave me this ability?” Leo answered enthusiastically.
Suddenly, it hit Tsukasa- The cat she kept all this time was actually Leo, and she has told that cat a lot of things. So does that mean….
“W-wait.. I'm still lost.. Do you… Do you understand me when you're a cat?” she asked cautiously, internally praying that Leo will say no. But of course luck isn't on her side right now.
“Yep! Only my body turns into a cat, but this genius brain never disappears! So yeah! I understand everything that you said to the cat Leo!” he nodded. Unexpectedly, Tsukasa threw the pillow she was hugging earlier straight at his head. He fell back in shock.
“Idiot! Why didn't you tell me?!” she scolded, although her face was clearly red. "Eh? I can't! It's a secret! No one is actually supposed to know about this, so you're the first one! Yay!☆” Leo grinned.
Tsukasa curled up on her bed, rocking herself back and forth. “Suo~?” Leo approaches her and looks at her curiously.
“It's a good thing I never shared anything too serious but…” the girl muttered, lifting her head back up to face the other. “.. That means you.. Already know my feelings… T-towards you? I shared that with the cat too…”
Tsukasa's question immediately made both of their faces red.
“Ah, yeah! I heard that too..” Leo fiddled with his fingers. Tsukasa immediately covered her face. “Ah, I'm so sorry! Please just forget what I said!” she spoke, her voice muffled by her hands.
Leo took a deep breath. Maybe now is the perfect time?
He removed Tsukasa's hands from her face. “Don't be like that, Suo~! I wanted to tell you something too” he smiled. “I love you too! Like, the romantic kind of love! And before you try and deny it, I'm being real! No tricks, no playing around” he spoke.
Tsukasa felt like her heart just jumped out of her chest. “R-really? Are you sure? You're being serious, aren't you, Leo-san?” she asked. Leo pouted. “There you go, questioning me right after I told you not to! Well, maybe I just didn't know how to confess properly? These feelings are complicated~”
He turned back towards Tsukasa. “But yeah, I'm being genuine! Why else did you think I would go out of my way to come to the bar everyday? To see my crush, of course!” he grinned.
Tsukasa took a deep breath, a smile forming on her lips. Maybe she needs to put more faith in Leo.
“Okay, I believe you. Thank you, Leo-san. For sharing the same feelings with me. I don't know how else I would meet you again if you didn't” she smiled back.
“So, we're a couple now? That's what happens after two people confess to each other, right?” Leo thought. Tsukasa scratched her cheek shyly. "I guess… We are?”
A moment of awkward silence followed. None of them knew what to do now.

It's been a few days since their relationship started. However, the two are clearly still very shy to approach each other intimately.
And that feels like a problem to Tsukasa.
Tsukasa sat by the window, waiting for Leo to come over. A moment later, the long-awaited orange cat appeared and waltzed into her room before taking the form of Leo.
“Suo~! Ucchuu~☆” he greeted. Tsukasa chuckled. "GOOD EVENING, Leo-san”
“So.. Why did you invite me over?” Leo tilted his head, immediately questioning Tsukasa's invitation before they left the bar earlier.
Tsukasa cleared her throat. "Ah… That… How should I put it?” she averted her eyes, too shy to look into Leo's green ones. "I.. Just thought that our RELATIONSHIP can't progress if we keep on getting shy with one another.. You know, we haven't even held hands since we confessed.. I just feel like we should be more.. Close..?” she spoke, mentally rethinking her actions.
Leo blinked curiously. "Then… Why here?”
Tsukasa immediately realised what this situation looks like.
She pretty much just invited her boyfriend over and started talking about how they should be more intimate. While she is still in her minidress from the bar.
In her room.
Her face turned red. “Ah-! I mean… I was just- ugh… GOODNESS, what am I saying?”
Leo chuckled. Tsukasa looks so cute when she's embarrassed like this. He walked up to her. “If you're worried about that, how about we start with a kiss? That's a basic thing about being a couple, right?” he suggested.
Tsukasa bit her lip, hesitating. Leo smiled, before tilting her chin up. “We kissed the other day, didn't we? At the bar? Let's just do the same thing!” he reassured.
Tsukasa exhaled. Before she could prepare herself, Leo lowered down his face and joined their lips together. It was a brief kiss before he pulled away.
“There! It's not too bad, actually! Should we try again?” he smiled innocently. Tsukasa nodded, and their lips touched again. Leo deepened the kiss this time, taking Tsukasa's face in his palms.
It lasted longer than earlier. And they found themselves craving for it again. “Should we try again?” Tsukasa was the one to suggest it this time.
…
None of them knew how many ‘tries’ they've done. All they know is that whenever their lips part, they craved that feeling again.
As Tsukasa parts her mouth slightly to get some air, Leo wasted no time to slip his tongue inside, much to the other's surprise. The kiss suddenly became sloppy and messy, which usually isn't something Tsukasa likes.
But she finds herself deepening the kiss, hooking her arms on Leo's neck. When they separated, all they can see is the clear hunger and desire in each other's eyes.
Tsukasa glances at the window next to them. “Leo-san, we shouldn't do this here. Someone might see” she spoke. A mischievous smile appreared on Leo's lips. “So? Where does Suo~ want to continue?”
Tsukasa didn't answer. Leo scooped her up into his arms, taking her somewhere obvious.
He sat at the edge of the bed, letting Tsukasa straddle on his lap. The kiss continued, before Leo's lips trailed down to the red head’s neck. He placed small kisses, working his way to her exposed collarbone.
“Ah- Leo-san..” Tsukasa’s slight moan only fueled Leo up more. He looked at her suggestively. "Oh, you like that, Suo~?” he teased. Tsukasa blushed hard, realising she too is getting excited.
Leo chuckled, holding onto Tsukasa's hips and falling onto the mattress with her. Tsukasa struggled to balance herself and fell onto his chest.
“Are you okay with this, Suo~?” Leo grinned. Tsukasa knew Leo was just teasing her, because she's sure he knows what they both want.
She answered with another kiss. Leo quickly switched their positions and propped himself up with his elbows, keeping Tsukasa trapped under him.
He soon adjusts his position again as his hands found themselves eagerly removing the straps on Tsukasa's dress. While their lips were still busy with each other, Leo slowly slipped the dress down her body.
Tsukasa gasped, letting go of the kiss. “W-wait, what if the maids hear us?” she voiced her concerns. Leo chuckled. “Silly Suo~. No one would be walking around at this time of night” he assumed.
“But even if there is someone, they would know then that you belong to someone, and that someone is me” he added. Of course, Tsukasa wasn't convinced, but its not like she wants to stop anyways.
Leo grabbed her wrists with one hand and pinned them over her head while his other hand worked on loosening the dress on her even more.
Once he's done, he feasted his eyes on the blushing Tsukasa, laid down exposed under him. He licked his lips.
He immediately placed his lips above her chest. He continued to place kisses all over her body while indulging himself in Tsukasa's small moans and whimpers.
He stopped when he reached her abdomen. He looked at her mischievously, purposefully stopping to mess with her. Tsukasa definitely fell for it, shooting him a dissatisfied look.
“Why~? Does my cute Suo~ want me to go lower?” he teased. Tsukasa averted her eyes, playing it cool when she realised how eager she's acting.
Unfortunately, she can't hold herself when Leo slowly moved lower. Leo looked at her again. “You can't fool me, Suo~” he grinned. He lifted himself up, much to Tsukasa's disappointment.
Leo laughed seeing her obvious expression. He proceeded to lift her legs up, positioning himself in between. Tsukasa's heart beat loudly.
“Don't worry, my princess~ your knight shall make you feel good tonight~” Leo spoke suggestively, before finally lowering his head and continuing where he left off, this time making sure to make Tsukasa let out her voice even more. Who knew she would still sound so good when she is pleasured?
