Confession Zip x Edward
It was a nice Monday morning with a bit of rain. Zip was walking his little brother to school as Edward joined them.
//Edward// “Hey Zip!”
//Zip// “Oh hi Eddie!” Edward always blushed when Zip called him that //Edward// “Hello little chip!” //Chip// “hewo porcupine :>”
//Zip// “Chip we talked about this.”//Edward// “So zip.. are you free tonight? Maybe we could- you know… hang out?” Edward was trembling trying not to blush but Zip could obviously tell he was. //Zip// “Sure Eddie! Where to?” //Edward// “How about the park at 6pm? You can take chip too!” //Zip// “Yea I can definitely go. I just need to tell my parents where I am going.” Zip's parents didn't care if she went anywhere as long as she came home by 9pm //Edward// “Ok cool!”
As school was in session, zip kept catching Edward staring at her while she was throwing paper airplanes at Abbie with Oliver.
And everytime she did Edward blushed even more. Zip didn’t know what this was. Maybe he wanted to ask her something. Yet she couldn't deny the fact that she liked Edward. What a shame it would be if Edward didn't feel the same for her, she thought.
At lunch Zip just couldn't stop thinking about Edward for some reason. //Zip// “Hey Eddie?” //Edward// “yea?” //Zip// “Do you have a crush?” Edward didn't know what to say since he knew he liked Zip but just could not tell her.. at least not yet. //Edward// “Uhm.. I uh.” Oliver walked in interrupting their conversation
//Oliver// “Hey y'all!” //Zip// “Oh hai Oliver!” Oliver turned to look at Edward but all he could see was a very obvious flustered face with beads of sweat. Ofcourse, he knew what this meant. //Oliver//“Hey Edwarddd! I know you like someone! You can't hide it.” Edward turned to look at Oliver in an annoyed expression that meant Oliver I will kill you if you say one more word. //Oliver// “ok still trying to deny it i see.” //Edward// “shut up.” //Oliver// “well at least I have a girlfriend.”
They continued eating until lunch was over and they headed to their classes. They walked by Ms. Sashas class where Chip was. Chip immediately ran up and fogged up the door window screaming //Chip// “HAI ZIPPY HAI EDWAD DA TEMU PORCUPINE!”
//Zip// “CHIP! GET BACK TO CLASS” //Edward// “Haha”
7th period was the last period and one of the 4 periods Zip and Edward had together. It was Music. Oliver wasn't with them in this period so Edward and Zip hung out together. They talked and talked until Zip brought up the crush thing again.
//Zip// “so tell me. Do you have one?”//Edward//“why are you asking me this?”//Zip// “I just want to know.” //Edward// “well uhm. You see…” As Edwards face turns red. Zip didn't have to look twice to notice. She knew there was a possibility he never liked her because he was looking straight at someone else while talking to her. //Zip// “you know what never mind.” She said this with an annoyed, almost sad tone.
Before she knew it she was shedding a few tears while looking in the opposite direction from Edward. This was weird since the only time Zip cried at school was when she was in the theater club. But Edward noticed this. //Edward// “are you ok?” //Zip// “y-yea.” //Edward// “Are you sure?” //Zip// “I SAID YES ALREADY now shut up!” She said that so loudly almost everyone heard it //Mr. Demi// “Hey Zip lets quiet down.” //Edward// “oh ok..” He was instantly disappointed.
Class ended and both of them headed straight home without looking at one another. As they came home Edward assured zip if she was coming to the park later today. (NEW MESSAGE FROM EDDIE POOKIE WOOKIE) -Hey are you still coming or do you want space?- Zip instantly regretted yelling at him. He was still so kind after she treated him like crap. (NEW MESSAGE FROM ZIP FUTURE GF MAYBE) -sure and sorry for yelling at you.. :( (NEW MESSAGE FROM EDDIE POOKIE WOOKIE) -its ok I understand.-
The 2 got ready as the clock reached 5:5Opm. Finally it was time. Zip decided to go with her hair down. //Chip// “awe u going on a dwate with ur temu boyfriend Zippy?” //Zip// “CHIP ARE YOU SERIOUS? Stop calling Edward names! You better not say a word. Now go play with your friends.” //Chip// “Yay!”
//Edward// “Omg hi zip!” //Zip// “Hello!” *Edwards mind* Why does she look so cute with her hair down!? //Zip// “Hello? Are you listening to me?” //Edward// “Oh sorry..”//Zip// “where do we sit down?” //Edward// “how about that bench near the shade?” //Zip//“sure!” They sat down in the shade staring at each other until Edward finally spoke. //Edward// “I like your hair..” Edward blurted trying not to look at zip//Zip// “Oh thanks!” Both blushing at the same time. This was it. Edward was ready to tell Zip.
//Edward// “hey zip..” //Zip// “yea?” //Edward//”what would you do if someone had a crush on you?” //Zip// “well that depends on the person.” Why? Could this be what she was waiting for? Maybe not, she thought. //Edward// “Well because…” Edward was staring deeply into Zip's eyes. //Edward// “I- I like you…” There was an awkward moment of silence. //Zip// “I… Eddie. I like you too.” As the two of them slowly held hands, chip was secretly spying on them.
//Edward// “Is it ok if..” Edward paused for a moment. //Edward// “if I called you my girlfriend?” //Zip// “Oh- of course!” Edward slowly placed his hand on Zip's face. Before they knew it they were kissing under the sunset. Chip spotted them. //Chip//”OooooOooo Zippy and Edwad kissing in a tree.” //Zip// “Chip shush.” As Zip and Edward exchanged glances they laughed at each other.
//Edward// “Haha you're so cute chippy! You too zip” //Zip// “What the hay stop making me blush!” //Edward// “never >:)” Both of them walked home holding hands. They couldn't stop smiling. //Chip// “Zippy isn't your face tired of smiling and looking like a tomato?” //Zip// “uhm.. Haha so funny chip. Edward, it's time for us to go.” //Edward// “pfft ok lol” //Zip// “Bye Eddie!!” //Edward// “Bye cutie!” *wink* //Zip// “Augh I just stopped blushing!”//Chip// “bye Edwad the tomato!”//Edward// “lol see y'all tomorrow!”
