Beast Tamer

Summary:

For as long as Katsuki has remembered, he's always lived in a cage. So far, he's been able to drive away anyone who wanted to buy him.

Except for one man, who stays. Who feeds Katsuki. Who talks to him.

And who has an alternative motive. Katsuki might be breaking free of one cage but he's pretty sure he's walking into another.

Notes:

Hello! I bring another prompt for KRBK Month. The prompt is "Beast" Tamer, though I took it a bit literally, lol

Work Text:

Katsuki growls from where he sits in his cage. His knees hurt from kneeling on the cold metal, but he can’t stand up because the cage is too small. It forces him to hunch in on himself, making his back ache. He can’t do anything but kneel there and stare at the door before him.

The fuckers who dumped him in here hadn’t responded to his yelling and screaming and insults. In fact, they had been eerily quiet as they set him down in the dark room. Which is unusual. Usually, they’ll kick at his cage or grab his tail or pull on his ears, things they can do because usually Katsuki’s hands are chained to the bottom of the cage, so he can’t rip their throats out.

No, they had transported him here in silence, unchained his cuffs in silence, and left in silence. It’s been a couple of hours and Katsuki has gotten tired of yelling for any coward to come face him. Now he’s just sitting there, growling.

He’s kind of hungry. There’s a tiny thought that tries to worm its way inside that tells him they finally got tired of his attitude and have abandoned him to die of starvation.

Katsuki doesn’t remember when he had first been captured. He knows the Hunters had been after his mother, only years later realizing that they had needed a broodmare to provide more wares for them, but she had fought back too hard and too ferociously. So they had just killed her instead.

Leaving little pup Katsuki to their mercy. He had spent years in their care as they had tried to tame him, to sell him, to even stud him out.

None of it had worked out. Katsuki’s momma had always taught him that he should never let anyone do anything to him he doesn’t want and to always go down swinging.

If only he could get out of this damn cage. Then he really could fight them. He huffs again, ears flicking as he tries to hear if anyone is coming back. He knows from previous times that if he can hold out long enough, his wrist will get skinny enough to slip out of the cuffs. Maybe he can even slip between the bars too-

Katsuki had been looking around the cage as he mused on how to get out, but when he turns his head back towards the door, he startles. There’s a man there!

The man is tall, dressed in a suit. He’s not part of the Hunters. In fact, Katsuki has never seen him before.

Uneasiness fills him. Why hadn’t he heard the other? He should have heard him walking to the room. The door squealed every other time someone opened the door.

Why is this man so silent?

Ears pulled back, Katsuki snarls at him, showing off his teeth.

The stranger just smiles back at him. He’s tall, almost too tall for the doorway. His hair is long, pulled back into a braid. It’s red, with black roots showing. His eyes are red too as they look Katsuki over. There’s a scar over one of them.

His suit looks nice on him, well tailored to fit him perfectly. Katsuki carefully sniffs, tilting his head in confusion. The man doesn’t smell like a Hunter either.

In fact, he doesn’t smell like…anything.

The worry grows and Katsuki scrambles to back away to the back of the cage.

The man’s smile grows. Katsuki swallows when he sees how sharp the man’s teeth is. Not a Hunter, doesn’t smell like anything, couldn’t hear him, sharp teeth.

Katsuki is starting to wonder if he had been left as lunch for something else.

The man closes the door behind him. He places his hands behind his back, slowly walking deeper into the room. Katsuki keeps the bars to his back, eyes tracking every movement. Finally, the man kneels down in front of his cage. “Hello,” he says. His voice is smooth, light and cheery. “My name is Kirishima Eijirou.”

Katsuki doesn’t say anything.

“You can call me Ei though, if that’s easier for you.”

Katsuki continues to stay silent.

“I know this may be confusing for you, but I assure you, everything will make sense eventually.”

Katsuki huffs, but that only makes the man smile more. “But for now, I just want to get to know you.”

“There’s nothing to know about,” Katsuki growls.

“I like your voice,” Kirishima says. “It’s pleasing to my ears. Are you sure you won’t keep talking for me?”

“What are you, some fucking creep?” Katsuki snaps at the air before him. “Either let me out or fuck off.” Maybe this man is just like all those other fuckers out there who thought they could own Katsuki.

Well jokes on him. He’s not something to be owned, even by someone like Kirishima.

Kirishima doesn’t get mad, like the others have. In fact, he just chuckles. “Well, unfortunately, I can do neither. If you don’t want to talk, I can do the talking for you.” He tilts his head, like he’s waiting for Katsuki to give in.

Katsuki just continues to glare at him.

Shrugging, the man sits down on the ground.  His eyes run over Katsuki, narrowing a little. “Hmm, seems I had been lied to. I was told you would be in good shape, but we must have different definitions of what good shape means. I’ll have to fatten you up a bit.”

Katsuki covers his stomach, where he knows he has grown thin. While he likes the idea of food, the way this man talks…it’s sending out all kinds of warning bells.

Kirishima’s lips twitch up. “Yes, you’ll need a lot of food. What else did they lie to me about? How strong are you?”

“Strong enough that if you get too close, I’ll rip your face off,” Katsuki snarls. Though the man is right, he might need to eat something to do some actual damage.

That only gets Kirishima to smile again. “Good, good. I like them strong. I like when they can fight back.” He licks his lips. Katsuki doesn’t know if he’s seeing things or not, but he swears he sees Kirishima’s eyes flash.

Yeah, bad news. Real bad news.

Katsuki keeps his mouth shut after that. Kirishima tries to poke and prod some more, babbling on about things that don’t make sense to Katsuki, but when he realizes Katsuki really won’t respond, he sighs. Standing up, he pats the top of the cage. “I guess that’s it for today. Don’t worry, I’ll be back. And I’ll make sure they’re properly feeding you.”

He leans down, so he’s looking Katsuki in the eyes, giving the other a smirk. “I need you at your best, after all.”

Katsuki watches him go, his fear growing.

~

Katsuki doesn’t see Kirishima for a few more days. Katsuki wishes he felt better about that. But the man does fulfill his promise. The Hunters start feeding him again.

The first time they had walked in, they looked scared, like something had spooked them. They were pale and wide eye, and had rushed to shove some meat into his cage. One had smacked the side of the cage, cursing him, but another Hunter had grabbed him by the front of his shirt. “The boss said not to touch him. Do you remember what he did to Alan?”

The man scowls, shooting Katsuki a glare. But he leaves. None of them ever touch his cage again.

Katsuki eats the meat, frowning as he contemplates everything he just overheard. His feelings are confirmed, this Kirishima guy is bad news, if he has these guys shaking in their boots.

But why is he interested in Katsuki ? What did Katsuki do to get his attention? Why is he forcing them to take care of him?

What is going on?

So plates of meat and water bowls are shoved into his cage, and he gets more glares, but they don’t talk to him or touch him.

They leave him be.

~

Kirishima visits a bit after that, always inquiring about Katsuki’s wellbeing, asking if he’s being well taken care of. Katsuki tells him to fuck himself and Kirishima laughs.

No matter what Katsuki does, snarling and spitting and cursing him, Kirishima never seems to get mad at him. It just makes Katsuki more frustrated.

People screaming back, kicking his cage, threatening to cut off his limbs, he’s used to that. This calm patience drives him up the wall.

Kirishima spends a good few minutes talking to Katsuki. It’s always a one-sided conversation, but again, Kirishima doesn’t seem to mind that. Katsuki doesn’t trust him, but at least the man doesn’t seem to be interested in doing anything to him, so he eventually just settles down and waits for him to leave.

But all of his fear returns when, as Kirishima leaves, he counts down. Katsuki doesn’t know what. He’ll just say “five more days” or “three more days”.

Katsuki isn’t sure he wants to know what will happen when day zero comes.

~

Katsuki wakes up slowly, stretching his arms out and popping his jaw. He’s been sleeping more, too bored to do anything else ever since the Hunters had stopped coming. And no, that doesn’t mean he looks forward to Kirishima’s visits! Well.

Shaking his head, he turns to wash himself up. And that’s when he freezes.

Kirishima is sitting there, one arm leaning on his knee as the other leg stretches out before him. He smirks when he sees Katsuki bristling. “You know, you’re pretty when you look relaxed. You should do that more.”

“Maybe I would if I didn’t have to see you.” Katsuki tries to keep the panic out of his voice. He’s sure that Kirishima heard it though.

Now Kirishima does laugh at that. It just makes Katsuki’s hackles rise. There’s something different this time. “Oh Bakugou, don’t you know.” He flashes Katsuki a sharp smile. “I’m the only thing keeping you alive.”

Katsuki growls, bristling even more. Kirishima seems unaffected. He looks down at his fingers, as if inspecting them for dirt.

"When I first arrived, I had walked in on them talking about all the ways they could put you down. When I inquired about what vicious creature could be causing them all this ire, imagine my surprise when they said they had a werewolf pup that they couldn't get rid of." He looks up under his eyelashes. Katsuki doesn't know if it's a trick of the light or if Kirishima's eyes are really glowing. " Werewolves are usually submissive little creatures, once you know how to train them."

Katsuki narrows his eyes at him. "So what? You think you can get some cheap thrill, that you can just come in here and 'train' me?"

"I was more curious than anything, at first. Hunters are stupid, for the most part, so I thought they just didn't know what they were dealing with. Imagine my surprise when I come in here and find you. " Kirishima leans on his knee. He's still just watching Katsuki and Katsuki hates it. Every single hair on his body is standing up. He wishes he could rip through his bars, to get out of here and away from this thing - he's a hundred percent certain Kirishima is not a human.

"So I had a nice long talk with those pesky little Hunters, told them to get you nice and healthy for me. And now, I propose a deal."

"What kind of deal?" Katsuki says, slowly. What does Kirishima have in store for him?

Kirishima grins, flashing his sharp mouth again. "I will release you. You will be free from this cage."

Katsuki waits but Kirishima doesn't go on. Katsuki is forced to ask himself. "What do you get out of this?"

"I want you to kill all the Hunters here. I don't want a single one to escape."

Katsuki blinks at him. But again, Kirishima remains silent. "And?"

Kirishima raises his eyebrows. "And what?"

"That's it? You release me and I get to kill the people who captured me? Doesn't sound like a deal. It sounds like you're serving up all my wants on a silver platter. So what's the catch? What are you getting out of this?"

"Maybe I want them dead too? I am no friend to Hunters. What do I care if they get wiped out?"

Katsuki narrows his eyes. "And why can't you do it?"

"Me? I'm just a poor innocent soul, trying to save every creature I can." Kirishima even goes so far as to bat his eyelashes at Katsuki.

Katsuki can't help snorting, rolling his eyes. "Spare me. You're dangerous. Every instinct in me is screaming that. You could kill all of them out there without breaking a sweat."

Kirishima looks pleased about that, going back to smiling wide. "True, but like I said, they're stupid. A toddler could have killed them by now. After all, they allowed me in to plan their demise."

Katsuki eyes Kirishima. Kirishima just continues to beam at him. He sighs. It’s not like he has to honor the deal. He just needs the asshole to open the cage for him and he can make a run for it. Kirishima may be dangerous but Katsuki knows he’s faster. "Fucking...fine. Whatever. I'll do the damn thing."

“Perfect.” Then, before Katsuki can blink, Kirishima right in front of him, ripping the cage bars apart. Katsuki can only stare at him, mouth slightly open.

Kirishima sticks his hand through the now open hole in the cage. "Well? I fulfilled my end. Now, you need to fulfill yours."

Katsuki shakes his head, taking his hand. "Fine, fine, you fucking freak. I needed my exercise anyways-" He's cut off, stumbling forward as Kirishima yanks him in. One hand goes to his lower back, keeping Katsuki pinned against a hard chest. He tries to jerk back but it's like Kirishima's grip is steel.

He looks up in Kirishima's eyes and he's sure now. They're glowing. "What are you-"

"If I want the show I was promised, then I need you to give into your base instincts." Kirishima leans down, so that they're nearly nose to nose. "Come on. Be a good boy and fall into a Moon Rage."

If Katsuki wasn't so busy trying to get away, he would scoff. He has never fallen into a Moon Rage before, since he’s been locked up in here. Besides, they can only happen on the night of the full moon, when werewolves’ emotions are more unstable and they are prone to rage taking over.

That's why pups are usually not allowed to leave the pack's sight, till they learn to control their emotions. Katsuki is not a pup though, he refuses to give in to something so far out of his control.

Except, the longer he looks into Kirishima's eyes, the closer he feels to losing that precious control. It's like, with every coo Kirishima gives him, it strokes his inner werewolf, draws his ever present anger closer to the edge.

"Come on, pretty. Just give in. It'll feel so good, I promise you. I bet you’ll look absolutely stunning"

Katsuki doesn't want to, doesn't want to give into this asshole. But, as the edges of his eyesight start to bleed red, he soon realizes that it's not his choice.

The last thing he's conscious of is Kirishima telling him "That's it. Just like that."

"Good boy."

~

Katsuki comes to the taste of blood in his mouth. He blinks and his eyesight comes back. The first thing he sees is a dead body.

Or he assumes it's a dead body. It's so carved up, blood and meat everywhere, the limbs ripped off and the head caved in. When Katsuki turns his head, he sees another meat pile close by.

It takes a while for the ringing in his ears to go away, but when he does, he's aware of someone clapping. He looks up and Kirishima is there, leaning back against the wall. There isn’t a lot of light here. But the one light there is makes him look like he’s glowing. "Wonderful. That was a wonderful show."

"Ki-Kirishima?" Katsuki's voice doesn't sound like his own. It's too deep, too rough. His throat feels like he gargled razors. "What happened?"

"That, my dear pup, was a Moon Rage. It felt wonderful, did it not?"

Katsuki can only blink at him. He feels like he's high, it's hard to parse what exactly Kirishima is saying to him. Everything feels like he's trudging through sludge. "Wh-why?"

Kirishima gives him that same infuriating grin. "Why? Well, one, I wanted to see what my new purchase was capable of. I wanted something dangerous, I wanted something that can protect me as I sleep."

Kirishima takes a step towards him. Katsuki backs up, nearly slipping in the blood. "Two, I hate Hunters. They bug me constantly, thinking that they can come into my den and kill me. Their arrogance disgusts me."

He comes to a stop right before Katsuki. Katsuki is trembling, can feel his muscles ache. There's a chunk of something- flesh he thinks- that is stuck in his teeth. He gets flashes of memories, of terrified faces seconds before he rips out their throats.

While he isn't sad about the lives he took- wishes he could have seen the look on the bastard who killed his mom's face when he cut him down- he is terrified. This man, this creature, Kirishima , sent him into a Moon Rage. Something that shouldn't have been possible, not with how close to a new moon they were.

But Kirishima managed it anyway, with just a look into his eyes.

Kirishima lifts one hand, ignoring the way Katsuki flinches, and cups his face. "And three, I just wanted to see someone so pretty covered in blood."

Again, Kirishima's speed leaves Katsuki dizzy as he pushes Katsuki to the ground. He lifts one of Katsuki's legs, bringing it up to his hip as he settles in between his spread thighs. He grabs Katsuki's hand that had tried to swipe at him, bringing it up to his mouth. Maintaining eye contact, he licks the blood that drips from there. "Horrible," he whispers. "Hunter blood always tastes so horrible. But you make it enjoyable. I bet your blood tastes so much sweeter."

He leans down, now swiping his tongue up Katsuki's neck, till he reaches Katsuki's lips. "You'll let me have some, right?"

Katsuki makes the mistake of looking into Kirishima's eyes. His whole body goes lax and he turns his head to the side, barring his throat. "Good puppy, so good for me."

Fangs sink into his skin, and embarrassingly, a moan leaves Katsuki's mouth. A rush of dizziness hits Katsuki again. Belatedly, he can feel Kirishima grind against him.

Katsuki is hard. He's pretty sure that with every drag of blood from him, Kirishima just makes him harder. He wonders, his mind starting to drift, starting to go into that same place Kirishima pushed him when he forced a Moon Rage, if Kirishima can make him cum just from this.

And then he's flipped onto his stomach, his hips dragged up. This time, he goes willingly, unable to protest as Kirishima rips his clothes from him. "Pretty puppy. You're such a gorgeous pup. You had looked so magnificent as you tore these humans apart. I have to have you."

Katsuki's eyes roll into the back of his head as a large, hot cock sinks into him. Kirishima didn't prepare him, or that's what Katsuki thinks. But his body opens up for him anyways, accepting that hard length inside, like it was something missing that had just come home.

"Good. The bonding process has already started. As soon as I cum inside you, you will be mine, fully and completely. There will be no chance of escape, your instincts won't allow it." Kirishima thrusts, his balls slapping against Katsuki's ass. Katsuki grunts, closing his eyes, feeling the truth with every word. "You will be my guard dog for when I sleep. Every day, I will drink from you. I will fuck you. And I will train you, so that when the time comes, you will slay all my enemies and any who oppose me."

Another thrust. A kiss placed on his shoulder. "And in return, I shall protect and nurture you. Never again will you find yourself in a cage. If you wish, I'll tell you where every single Hunter lives, so you can hunt them down."

Another hard thrust. "Do we have a deal?"

Katsuki now knows what Kirishima's deals are like, but it's not like he can reject them. Not when Kirisihima starts ramping up his thrusts pounding Katsuki into the ground. Not when a hand reaches under Katsuki, stroking him. Not when Kirishima sinks his fangs back into him.

All he can do is croak out a "Deal" and enjoy his life with his new master.
