Work Text:

Cold water poured down Igarashi’s body, cleansing it of any and all sweat. If he wanted to get into the top 25, he gotta pick up the pace.

So far, with exact nothing to his name, it didn’t look too good for him. In this lonely moment, he couldn’t help but envy Isagi.

Not hate envy thought, more so he looked up to him. From someone who was just a 299, someone only one rank above him, to the most promising striker in the Neo-egoist League.

By Buddha, even if he won’t surpass Isagi he would get to play with him. But was it really possible…?

He thought himself of Isagi’s advice. It was a damn good advice, just like everything Isagi did. A unique self generates a unique ego, and this would be his key to victory!

Why did he even pick this club out of all in the Neo-egoist League? Sure, he was a monk and the city from which Bastard München originated had a monk in their coat of arms, but was that a good enough reason? Or did he come here only because of Isagi? Was he only relying on Isagi to help him succeed? Was he a parasite living off of his hard work and talent?

Igarashi shook his head, trying to get rid of all negative thoughts. He didn’t need them, not one bit. Instead, he should focus on what Isagi told him.

“Is my ego truly mighty fine, just as he said…” the monk murmured, even after all this time there was a bit of insecurity rooted inside him.

The distant sound of footsteps pulled him out of his thoughts. He didn't expect anyone to be here at that hour, especially since most of the Blue Lockers were still busy training. If not for physical exhaustion, he would be with them, but sadly he could only dream of having such long sessions.

He was aware of his limitations, and that's why he decided to start earlier - to take more breaks in between and finish all the series that master's schedule required. After all, it was his responsibility to become better and finally earn his place on the pitch-- else he would have to make peace with the dreadful temple awaiting him back home.

But if it wasn’t them, then who…?

“Even in here, they left you all alone?” sneered the newly arrived guest. “Tragic.”

Kaiser. The one who came all barking up to Isagi at the start of this whole thing. Isagi despised him and Igarashi, for the lack of any other reasons, despised him too.

Or so he thought.

“What do you want,” blurted out Igarashi, this was the first time this drama queen actually paid any attention to him. Monk’s eyes were drawn away from him, staring blankly at the wall tiles ahead of him.

Kaiser just chuckled, which prompted Igarashi to get out of here. He turned off the shower and was supposed to leave when Kaiser casually placed an arm over his shoulder, stopping him in place.

“Rude, were you going to leave me just like that?” Kaiser let out a theatrical sob. “How could you?”

Igarashi instinctively tried to push him away, to no avail. Kaiser just wouldn’t budge. The blonde smirked at him for this feeble attempt.

“You’re in quite a bad spot, aren’t you?” Queried Kaiser. He brought him closer. “I just might be what you need, you extra.”

While Igarashi was naked, as one does not shower fully clothed, Kaiser was only topless. It was uncomfortable for the monk to be in this situation, up until Kaiser’s confidence silenced those thoughts.

“...extra?” Igarashi, as if insulted, had finally turned toward him. His eyes met Kaiser’s blue orbs, staring right at him. They would be undressing him if there was anything left to undress.

“Mhm” nodded Kaiser. “Isn’t that what you’re to Isagi?”

“Wha- He doesn’t think of me like that!”

“Oh, he thinks about you? Thought that clown had eyes only for himself.”

Isagi slander would NOT be tolerated, Igarashi once again tried to push Kaiser away, only for him to strengthen his embrace.

“Don’t you dare insult Isagi,” scoffed Igarashi. “I watched you, there is not a single more self-absorbed person than you, you snollygoster!”

Kaiser tilted his head, confused at the unusual slur.

“Oh? Did I hit a ne-”

“And more importantly, don’t touch me!” Igarashi glared at Kaiser, who raised his hands as if in surrender.

“So Yoichi is a sensitive topic for you?” Kaiser rolled his eyes. “What do you even see in him?”

“Someone amazing, someone incredible.”

“Someone better than me?”

Igarashi froze for a second, how was he supposed to know? No, Kaiser was obviously inferior to Isagi.

“Yes, he’s someone I look up to. Unlike a cockalorum such as yourself!” Igarashi stood defiantly and proudly before the Isagi’s rival.

“...Who the fuck talks like that…” Kaiser whispered under his breath before returning to his usual smirk. “Listen, I bet that whole Yoichi is truly the most amazing person you ever meet or something…”

He approached the not so defiant monk who backed away from Kaiser up until he hit a wall, yet that didn’t stop the German advance.

Soon, he stood right in front of Igarashi, who could feel his breath. Minty, clean just simply pleasant to inhale, it flew right into monk’s nostrils. With Igarashi right against the wall, Kaiser placed his hand on the sides of his head, blocking his escape route.

The sudden, rather embarrassing situation caused Igarashi to blush slightly, closing his eyes to avoid the sight in front of him.

Yet, the German’s elegance was burned into his mind. Instead of seeing him, he imagined him, and that was probably even worse, so he decided to accept reality as is.

And the reality was hotter than one could imagine. All this time, the monk’s mind was pure, safe from lust and other lewd thoughts. All this time there was no Kaiser.

His defined body, his impressive abs, his pleasant designer cologne, his weirdly cut hair which still somehow looked better than any other hairstyle imaginable, it was too much for a young striker.

Any longer and who knows what would happen, this called for a cunning escape!

Or was it? Something inside Igarashi compelled him to stay.

“... but so am I, you have watched my plays, right?” Kaiser continued, staring right into Igarashi, taken completely off guard (as if he wasn’t before). “Of course you did, not a lot to do while on the bench after all. You got it coming though, that’s what following Yoichi does. So naive, you almost make me pity you.”

He, sadly, had a point. All this time, Igarashi mostly watched Isagi play, but Kaiser didn’t really avoid his sight. His Kaiser Impact was nothing to scoff at, dwarfing Isagi’s shooting skills.

“It’s not Isagi’s fault, he wants me to succeed! He gave me good advice!” Igarashi averted his gaze, trying to find something less distracting to look at. “And I don’t need your pity.”

“Oh yeah? And what would that advice be?” asked Kaiser, somewhat amused.

“That my unique reality and my unique motivations will provide me with a unique ego.”

“What the fuck is that even supposed to mean?” Kaiser was barely trying to hold back his laughter, waving his hand dismissively. “Listen, it is all up there” he poked Igarashi’s forehead. “And there” he then gestured over to his neck tattoo.

Igarashi’s puzzled look made Kaiser sight a little. “Do you believe it is possible for you to survive all this on your own?”

Every inch of Igarashi’s being tried to yell out that he would survive, but he couldn’t. Everything looked oddly grim for him and as such, he didn’t utter a single word

“Still you fight back, train hard. You really want to fulfill your ambitions?” Kaiser tilted his chin, holding it up such that the eye contact would be maintained. “I like your spirit and your ability could be mighty fine, if used well enough.”

Igarashi’s eyes lighted up, could he really help him? But wouldn’t that mean betraying Isagi?

Kaiser brought his face closer, their noses basically touching.

“Think about it. I just might be what you need,” Kaiser licked his lips. “And what you want.”

He turned and walked out of the shower room, waving to a flustered Igarashi. “Let me be your knight in shining armor and save you like a lady in distress you are.”

After a while, Kaiser continued.

“I’ll expect you in the gym at midnight. Got it?”

Igarashi watched him go until he was alone again. Monk released all his pent-up emotion into the nearby wall, smashing his fist right into it.

The wall proved quite an adversary, yet he paid it no mind.

“Snap, what am I supposed to do? By the standing Buddha…” He turned the shower back on, this latest encounter made him feel sweaty once more.

***

“So, how did it go?” asked Ness, smiling wildly at Kaiser with his shirt in his hands.

“Kill me,” the blonde acknowledged him with a nod, grabbing his shirt back.

“I’d rather not, Kaiser,” Ness chuckled. “Was it a success?”

“I think so? We might be able to use him,” Kaiser lifted the shirt up, examining it for a bit before yet another sigh. “Have you done anything with it, Ness?”

Ness’ smile went missing for a second before coming back up. “No? What would I even do with it?”

“Never mind,” Kaiser put the shirt on, which sadly covered his physique. “With me, Ness.”

The midfielder nodded, happily bouncing behind him.

***

Igarashi wouldn’t or rather couldn’t sleep. Split between supporting the player he admired or accepting the tempting offer made by a tempting man, his mind was in turmoil.

He kind of loathed himself for considering this…but those thighs!

They escaped his thirsty (more so than he would be comfortable acknowledging) gaze back then but now? Each time he closed his eyes, they were right here.

Closed his eyes? Found himself kneeling between Michael Thighser.

Closed again? His neck was between Kaiser’s juicy thighs, which were nearly crushing him with a gruesome impact (one could say it was the Kaiser Impact itself!) all the while providing him with pleasures beyond mortal comprehension.

Oh, to take a bite out of the forbidden fruit!

And they weren’t even the biggest, for Prince’s were way way larger. The English weapons of pure desire were, without any doubts, impressive to look at but in a whole different way. While masculine and muscular, they weren’t exactly sexy nor attractive. The size wasn’t the sole deciding factor, at least in the thigh department.

Igarashi didn’t know why he was thinking so obsessively about his thighs while trying to get a good night’s sleep. He swore to himself that this Kaiser schmuck would be stood up, making a clown out of himself for his feeble attempt.

His mind was sure of it, but his heart? He already thirsted over him, deep down wanted to meet him again. Did he really get addicted to an enemy of a friend just because he visited him while he was showering?

No, that would be shameful. Whether or not he’s actually going back to the temple, he won’t disgrace his bloodline.

Igarashi decided, Kaiser had to be confronted and told no. Though, getting up without waking everybody up might prove difficult.

With a grace of a devout follower of Buddha, he slipped pass all the sleeping Blue Lockers. The German Wing was divided into two dorms, as to avoid any conflicts with inner teams.

As he walked down the corridor leading to the gym, step after step, his confidence grew and grew, he was ready for him, that much was sure.

He nearly jumped the moment he felt someone touch his shoulder. A strong, muscular arm stopped him completely.

“Where are you going?” The voice sounded a bit dead inside, leading to the obvious connection to Kunigami.

“To the gym,” Igarashi glanced back, seeing the (fallen) hero.

“To that rat? You changed teams?” Kunigami asked, though there was hardly any hint of curiosity in his voice.

Kunigami was clueless of the battle inside Igarashi’s mind, yet it hurt the poor monk all the same. It took a lot of effort to resist the urges!

Igarashi opened his mouth about to make a case for himself only for Kunigami to be faster.

“Don’t bother, I couldn’t care less,” Kunigami released the pressure on his shoulder. “Just a heads-up, the leg press is broken, so don’t use it, or you’ll get yourself injured.”

And just like that, he was gone. Even during leg days, Igarashi wasn’t doing any sets on the leg press, so it mattered not.

Kunigami after Wild Card was… well Kunigami after Wild Card, so there was no need to worry about him. But, what if someone saw Kaiser joining him in the showers?

Another reason to shut the whole thing down.

He reached the gym, Kaiser’s loyal lapdog standing at the doors. It was a long time since Igarashi was stared at with such disgust. Ness the Magician, more like Ness the Useless as despite having a solid first impression his performance was lackluster, thought Igarashi.

But then came the realization that he, in fact, was even worse. Did he really have any right to bad mouth Ness in his mind? One should remain humble while weak.

“He’s waiting for you inside,” Ness opened the door, throwing daggers at Igarashi.

“It won’t take long,” Igarashi walked inside, bracing himself for a second encounter with Isagi’s rival.

Inside, Kaiser was sitting on a bench, legs crossed. As usual, the damned smirk was present on his face.

“Kaiser, I thought about what you said,” Igarashi started first, taking the initiative.

“And?” Kaiser tilted his head, evidently predicting some defiance.

“And I won’t betray Isa-” involuntarily, Igarashi gaze fallen down at his thighs.. He wanted to touch them, he desired them.

“Well that's a shame,” Kaiser shrugged. “Looks like all that talk with Noa was for nothing.”

The mention of their coach brought Igarashi back to reality.

“You talked with the master?” monk’s eyes lit up. “About what?”

“About what an amazing coach he is, duh” Kaiser stood up preparing to leave. He noticed Igarashi’s confused look.

“About getting you on the field, you stupid fuck.”

Playing…on the field? He dreamed (thought not recently, as something else was on his mind) about that. Was it really in his reach?

“Wait!” Igarashi reached out to stop him. “You really persuaded master to let me play?”

“First, don’t touch me with your hands, they reek of Yoichi” he sidestepped the monk’s attempt. “Second, yeah, I did. I assumed you aren’t so braindead to stick with the losing side.”

“I… changed my mind,” Igarashi looked down, guilt flashing onto him with each uttered word. “I’ll do what you want me to do, Kaiser.”

Kaiser was beyond amused with this little declaration. He never knew Buddhists were so disloyal. Not like he had many interactions with them to begin with.

Or maybe it was just due to Igarashi being pressed up against the wall. Either way worked for Kaiser.

Kaiser clapped slowly, approaching him even slower.

“Well well well! Color me impressed!” Kaiser exclaimed loudly, Igarashi’s conflicted face was such a treat for the eyes. Dominating others was always so much fun, and this would be no exception.

“S-So will we start our training tomorrow or…?”

Kaiser did a little twirl before turning back towards the Igarashi, grasping his hands.

Igarashi couldn’t believe just how soft his fingers were as they intertwine with his own. With one movement, the blonde pulled him closer, right into his chest.

The surprised monk tripped, falling head first into the Kaiser’s chest. Both of them LARP’ed as domino blocks resulting in both of them falling down onto the floor, laying there with Igarashi directly on Kaiser, yet their hands remained clenched in a newly made union. A union that will, without a shadow of a doubt in Igarashi’s heart, last till the end of the Neo-Egoist League.

The Buddhist-German alliance would be forged that night. Igarashi slowly relaxed, laying his head on Kaiser’s chest comfortably.

Kaiser sighed. He glanced at the monk on top of him, he looked so peaceful, so serene. Igarashi was as desperate as is humanly possible, that much was without question. But was he desperate for the victory, or for the Kaiser himself?

Some unknown thoughts stormed into Kaiser’s mind, this pathetic monk-made-striker thingy was getting ahead of himself! At the same time… there was some doubt inside the striker’s heart.

He felt like the last hope for this wretch, the last hope for him to keep playing and avoid his temple work.

Normally he’d laugh at worms wiggling under his divine self, Buddhist or not, yet he couldn't.

His developed chest, one he got while working himself to near death during all the workouts, was now being used as a pillow.

Having someone on top of him brought back memories of father-son bonding time. Igarashi, however, was much lighter and less drunk compared to that fucking untermensch.

Memories of his childhood flashed painfully in his mind, the same he tried so hard to forget. He wasn’t the kid he was back then, not entirely, at least.

He released Igarashi’s hands just so he could push him away. Monk, caught entirely off guard by that, was on the floor before he could even comprehend what was going on.

Monk gaped at the sudden action as his sweet dream was abruptly stopped. “K-Kaiser?” he asked, his eyes started to swarm with tears.

Kaiser kneeled against the wall, looking down at the monk. Now it was as it should, him looking down upon all the background characters!

He wasn’t fooling anyone, his expression has grown softer, and he looked at Igarashi in a much different way.

Their eyes met, Kaiser moved his hand on top of Igarashi’s head, petting him. This sudden gentleness even increased Igarashi’s confusion. He never saw him being so… friendly, not like he had anything against that!

He wiped the remaining tears off his eyes and smiled wildly at the Softser above him. There was no obvious reaction on the other side.

Kaiser hated the way he was feeling, it wasn’t supposed to be like that. This was a tool to be used, just like that midfielder. Even if the circumstances were the same… how could this have happened?!

Every time he tried to utter some toxic remark, to say anything and act like he usually did, he found himself tongue-tied.

At the same time, this was what he wanted ever since he left his home and his father. He finally found it, and securing this missing piece was as easy as it could get.

In his peripheral vision, Kaiser saw the gym doors being slightly open, which meant only one thing. He should deal with it.

“Stay here,” Kaiser ordered Igarashi like one would order a dog.

Reluctantly, Igarashi nodded and sat on a nearby bench.

 ***

“Are you OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND, KAISER?!” Ness grabbed Kaiser’s collar, shoving him against the wall. “WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?”

“Calm down Ne-”

“DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO,” Ness pressed on harder. “WHAT. WAS. THAT?”

Despite his silly appearance, Ness packed quite a strength. Normally it was a good thing, Kaiser often spend much time thinking on how Ness should train for the best results.

“Negotiation tactics,” Kaiser smirked, hoping it would lighten up the mood. It did the exact opposite.

“Is that funny to you, Kaiser? Is that fucking funny to you?” Ness’ hands started shaking, his grip grew lighter. “I saw it, I saw everything… you never did those things with me.”

Holding hands, laying on top of each other...to Kaiser’s knowledge, such behavior wasn’t common between strikers and midfielders, but hey, what did he know?

“All this time you had been so cold to me,” Ness started to sob a bit, clearly folding under his raging emotions. “And I tried to be the best midfielder you could ever imagine! Tell me, Kaiser, am I really that useless to you?”

“I haven’t said that,” Kaiser raised an eyebrow at his little midfielder. He was always a bit… unstable, but this was something new entirely.

This response was clearly not up to Ness’ liking, as he tightened his grip of his neck, making it harder for Kaiser to breathe.

“But you haven’t said that I’m useful to you! You haven’t shown me a sign, a fucking sign, that you appreciate me. First was Yoichi that, Yoichi this, and now?” his sobbing turned to near on crying. Kaiser glanced quickly at the gym doors, which were tightly shut. Not to mention, they walked a bit away from the gym before all this started.

“You lay down all lovey-dovey with this pathetic monk, how is he better than me? HOW?”

Once again, Kaiser was surprised when he felt a sudden urge to defend Igarashi’s name, despite how he talked about him not so long ago.

“Do we have to do this right now, Ness?” Kaiser sighed, it would be better for both of them if they got some sleep. “Let's talk tomorrow, ok?”

“Are… are you fucking serious right now? Is this so hard to spare me a few minutes, Kaiser? Am I so undeserving of your attention?” Tears slides off his cheeks, he moved one of his arms to wipe them off immediately. “You seemed to hate him, what happened? Why do you prefer him? Why?”

An opening.

Kaiser kicked Ness in the stomach, causing him to whimper and fall down onto the relatively dirty floor. He never saw anyone clean it, for that matter.

“Fucking hell, Ness, what is that all about?” He fixed his collar, finally being able to breathe properly. Being choked was not as pleasant as choking yourself. “What happened to you?”

Ness was a mess, he kept uttering something completely incomprehensible, muffled by all the sad sounds.

“Listen, I appreciate you, I really do.” Kaiser wondered if that kick wasn’t a bit too strong, he didn’t know why he used so much force. “But I can’t be with you. You’re limiting me, Ness.”

Ness opened his left eye, glancing sadly at Kaiser towering above him.

“At last, I finally found it,” Kaiser chuckled. “I can finally experience what it means to be loved…” he fixed his hair, once again taking a look towards the gym.

“I love you…” Ness used all his strength to say it, something he wanted to do long ago.

Kaiser gave him a surprised look before shaking his head.

“Oh no, you don’t. You just think you do,” he leaned against the wall. He watched him squirm, crying uncontrollably. Fucking hell, everything reminded him of his childhood.

Everything reminded him of his childhood… that was it! He could never hope to become “human” if he was troubled by his past. Igarashi was his bridge to becoming “human” while Ness was a border control, an embodiment of his past.

And like an illegal immigrant, he could either cross the border sneakily or go in gun blazing, and the latter just seemed that much easier.

In time, Ness will thank him for it. He also was restrained by his feelings for Kaiser. Without them? He would evolve, gain a motivation to become the best.

Yes, it was the least Kaiser could do for his old friend, show him the path to true egoism.

It has been decided. The past had to go and Ness with it.

“I made sure you do. I designed you to feel this way!” He snapped. “The only thing I needed were your assists, but things have changed. I changed . I have no use for you anymore.”

Ness closed his eye again, this was unbearable.

“And you may think, ‘we had such a good relation at the beginning before coming here’ or some variation of it,” Kaiser shook his head again. “We never had anything going on, it was all a trick that only someone as impressively stupid as you could fall for.”

“Are you… leaving me?” Ness asked, the feeling of betrayal overpowered his sadness. “After all this?”

“Not exactly,” Kaiser smirked. “I’m not leaving you, as I never really was with you. Would you say a mechanic ‘leaves’ his wrench when he swaps it out for a newer model? You’re just past your expiration date, not much can be done,” Kaiser shrugged.

The betrayer walked back towards the gym.

“Go find yourself a new friend… or don’t, I don’t give a damn either way, you weeping mutt believing in fairy tales,” he waved at Ness, his back turned to his once most loyal follower.

 ***

He knew he wasn’t a good person, it was so obvious that there was no point in trying to hide it. Not like it bothered him in any way.

But it was not too late to change, to become loved and love in return.

He entered the gym once again and saw Igarashi waiting for him at the far end of the bench. Kaiser saw how Igarashi’s face lighted up when he saw Kaiser himself.

The feeling was mutual, Kaiser forgot about Ness and walked, faster than usual, towards his beloved monk.

“Hail to the three treasures!” Igarashi rushed towards Kaiser. He jumped up to hug him. “I missed you, Kaiser!”

Kaiser raised an eyebrow, allowing himself to be hugged. He moved his arms to reciprocate the hug but stopped at the last moment. It seemed like his past self wasn’t completely obliterated.

“I was gone for a few minutes, are you that impatient?”

“I am, just for you!

Kaiser smiled, he was just too sweet.

“I’m not going anywhere for now, so can you…?” He gestured towards Igarashi’s arms.

Igarashi took a step back, releasing Kaiser from his embrace.

Kaiser walked past him and sat on a bench, his legs wide open. He patted the spot next to him on the bench in an inviting manner.

Igarashi shook his head, instead he opted to sit on the floor directly between Kaiser’s magnificent legs. He leaned his head over one of the thighs while squeezing the other.

Kaiser rolled his eye as he felt his thighs being violated.

“Does it feel good, you perverted monk?” Kaiser asked, looking away from the sight below him.

“It does!” the monk nearly jumped, unable to contain his excitement he squeezed Thighser even harder.

Kaiser’s eye twitched at the Buddhist Impact inflicted on his left thigh. His fist clenched in pure annoyance, ready to lash out.

Even if knew he wouldn’t. After all the monk was his newly discovered weakness.

Kaiser closed his legs shut, shoving his thigh into the Igarashi’s face. For all it seemed, the monk was in a state of ecstasy. From the squeezer to being squeezed, oh how the tables how turned!

“I… have understood a thing or two…” Kaiser slowly began talking to his new friend. Igarashi turned his head (as much as it was possible between those two mighty weapons) up, looking at Kaiser.

“I… I was wrong with my whole path of malice… that was no way to truly become a ‘human’...” Igarashi just nodded along, even if it sounded like complete rambling.

“When I discovered you I felt what I have never felt before in my life, a feeling so pure, so warm,” Kaiser’s smirk was no more, now replaced with a genuine smile. “I discovered what it means to be love and be loved. And for that I thank you, Igarashi.”

Kaiser noticed him trying to say something. He pondered on whether he actually should let him.

His thigh moved away from Igarashi’s mouth, letting him speak.

“Who could have expected an emperor such as yourself to fall for a lowly monk just like m-” Igarashi was cut off by a thigh hitting his face. It felt amazing, no other thigh could hope to compare. His thigh were the most emperor-like quality of this one-of-a-kind man.

“Shut up, you!” Kaiser blushed, the first time he blushed in who knows how long.

For all it mattered, Kaiser couldn’t hope to refute the claims of falling for this Buddhist.

“I need to make amends with Yoichi…” the words he was saying, it was unthinkable. “Can you help me out with that?”

It was necessary, it was all necessary.

Igarashi nodded happily, his lover and his idol getting on friendly terms would be incredible!

They remained in silence for a good few minutes, just enjoying the fact that they could spend this time together.

He released Igarashi from his thigh prison. It was probably more uncomfortable position for Kaiser rather than Igarashi.

The cunning monk wasted no time, quickly rising up to his feet. He grabbed Kaiser’s chin and tilted it upwards.

“And what are you plan-” Kaiser’s lips were joined with Igarashi’s. A battle of dominance erupted inside their mouths, their tongues battling it out in a duel. The other Igarashi’s other hand moved behind Kaiser’s head, stroking his hair gently. Kaiser in turn pulled Igarashi closer.

They took a few breaks but went on for minutes until they were both out of breath. Igarashi won, in the last seconds his tongue made Kaiser weak in the knees.

The German striker had no issues with losing his dignity as a bottom. The times of being a Topser have passed, now it was time to return to zero, to become a Bottomser.

They once more made eye contact, both panting from exhaustion due to this recent exchange.

“I won’t disappoint you, Kaiser. Not on the field, not here,” Igarashi looked through the gym windows. “The night is still young.”

“Hmpf, like you can satisfy me anyway,” Kaiser smirked, playfully sizing him up and down. “But sure, do your worst.”

Both of them had their training to do tomorrow. Neither of them cared.

The night was indeed young.

Notes:

Hiya!!

Hope you enjoyed my very own fic! I wasn't expecting to see myself writing any fanfic ever, and yet here we are. It was way more fun than I expected, and I'm just really glad I finally managed to get something published! Lots of stuff that happened in my thing was due to the recent Nel developments. When I saw Igarashi getting on the field, I knew I HAD to write something related to that.

Thought the whole "I" thing is a bit of a stretch, it wasn't really all by myself. Quite the contrary, in fact! If not for a certain person who got me into fanfics to begin with, this wouldn't have been made. She spent (way too much) time doing proofreading, discussing fic related stuff, giving suggestions, feedback etc.

What I think I'm trying to say is that I couldn't hope for a better mentor (of sorts)! She really is an amazing person, as is her work. Sadly for her, the day will come when I'll surpass her, no doubt!

Buuuut I'm also more than eager to hear any feedback from YOU, dear reader! The good, the bad and the ugly, everything goes! Again, I really really really do hope it was a fun read. Have a good one!
