Work Text:
When you wake, you quickly register the way Leon’s arms are wrapped tight around your waist. As usual, he was probably too exhausted to wake you last night upon his return. You crane your neck over your shoulder to look at his sleeping face.
There’s a concerning scrape above his right eye, but he looks relatively alright other than that. You’d expected him back from his mission much later in the week, so this was a more than welcome surprise.
He stirs a bit as you shift in his arms, a sleepy noise drawing from his lips.
“Mm…babe?” He mumbles, shifting impossibly closer. You pretend not to notice the hardness pressing at your thigh, evidence of weeks apart.
“I’m here. Go back to sleep.” You say softly, running your fingers through his hair.
Leon doesn’t listen. He never does. His eyes open lazily, tracing over your features. “Keep doing that.” He replies, a hint of neediness in his tone.
You switch to scratching his scalp lightly, like a cat. This earns you a slight eyelid flutter and his hips twitching against your leg.
You give him a little knowing smile. There’s always a neediness to his movements after a long mission, as though too long being away from you makes him crave your touch, any way he can get it.
(He confessed to you late one night that sometimes it’s a desperate attempt to slip into a headspace where he can forget everything he’s seen. Your heart ached at those words. Fuck the D.S.O, you wish you could keep him wrapped up here forever.)
When you experimentally tighten your grip in Leon’s hair and he whines under his breath, you know it’s like that again. “It’s alright, baby, I’ve got you.”
“I’m sorry.” He says under his breath, moving to hide his face in your shoulder.
You slide your other hand up the back of his shirt, rubbing his back. There’s a cloth bandage there you hadn’t noticed yet, wrapped around his shoulder.
“Hey, it’s okay. Let me take care of you.” You whisper, treading carefully of any more hidden injuries.
Leon just nods, not lifting his head. You take that as an okay to bring your hand down and slide it below his waistband, gently palming his cock. He’s still only half-hard, but you easily coax him up with a few strokes of your wrist.
“That’s it. Good.” You praise, feeling precum leak over your fingers. “That’s good.”
He whimpers and bucks his hips, trying to fuck into the narrow channel of your fist. He lets out a strangled sound that you think is “Please”, as one of his hands comes up to tug at your shirt. His blunt nails catch in the fabric as he tries to yank it aside, mouthing sloppily at your neck.
You remove your hand for just a moment, wanting to push his boxers out of the way entirely. Leon sobs when you do, his whole body shuddering against yours.
“Please, no, please—” He begs.
You shush him gently, tugging the fabric out of the way and beginning your strokes again, faster this time. “It’s okay. I’m here, it’s alright.”
His hands scramble for purchase on your arm, so you shift so he’s lying on his back with you leaning over him. His ears turn a bit pink, gaze dropping down to your chest. You smirk, but hold back on the teasing for now.
The flushed tip of his cock disappears and reappears between your fingers. There’s a warm feeling settling in your stomach at the sight, but you ignore it in favor of the man below you.
“Just focus on me, baby.” You say, setting a familiar pace that you know he likes. His gaze is a bit hazy when they land on your face, like he’s drifting. The small moan that escapes his mouth lets you know that he’s floating in a good place instead of a bad one, thankfully.
Smiling, you kiss his forehead. “Good boy.”
You must twist your hand just right, because Leon whines low in his throat and shudders, shooting all over your hand and his stomach. His back arches off the bed a little, all the pent up energy released in that satisfying moment.
You work him gently through it, kissing over his chest and shushing him. He doesn’t really respond in words, like he’s refusing to leave the comforting headspace he’s in.
Poor thing. There’s no need, though, really. You can keep him here as long as he needs.
(Forever may not be possible, but you’ll try.)
