Proud Little Enforcer

Summary:

Caitlyn has finally made it through her enforcer training! Her graduation goes smoothly and pleasantly.
Little does she know that Cassandra has a gift for her.

Notes:

Important!! This chapter has Caitlyn getting raped, which isn't unique for this series, but it DOES have her enjoying it. If that's something you're sensitive to, I recommend you turn back now <3

Also loosely bending Arcane canon and timing and stuff so that I could slide the hexstrap in here.

Work Text:

Caitlyn smiled as she took her oath. She was proud to be an enforcer. Four years of training at the academy, scars and friends gained in equal amounts, and one oath to be sworn at the end of her years. She was an enforcer now. A real enforcer. She saw Jayce smiling from the crowd, her mother and her father. Her mother wore an unfamiliar expression of pride.

“Hey sprout! Congratulations on graduating!” Jayce pulled Caitlyn into a big hug. “So, you’re starting your work soon?” Caitlyn nodded. “That’s awesome Cait!”

“Wonderful job my dear,” Tobias smiled, “I know it’s been your dream. You’ll make a fine officer, and an even finer sheriff,”

“Hah, you really think I can become sheriff?”

“Sprout, you’re gonna be the best sheriff Piltover’s ever seen,” Jayce ruffled her hair. Cassandra let out a sigh and ran her hand down Caitlyn’s back.

“I’m very proud of you, Caitlyn,”

“Thank you mother,” her hand landed on Caitlyn’s waist. The girl straightened her shoulders as Cassandra gave her a squeeze.

“Now why don’t we go home and have dinner. I have a gift for our dear Caitlyn. Jayce, would you like to stay for dinner?” Jayce shook his head.

“I fear I have business to attend to,”

“Alright. Let’s go then,” Cassandra led her family away from the chaos of people greeting their newly graduated children. “You did well,” Cassandra praised as she opened the door to their house.

“Thank you,” Cassandra allowed Tobias in.

“Give us a moment, Tobias,” Tobias nodded and closed the door. The two were left in the warm sun, staring at each other. “You’re such a good girl, you did so well,” Cassandra pressed a kiss to Caitlyn’s lips. “You didn’t even make a noise,” her hands grabbed Caitlyn’s rear and pulled her into another kiss. She’d given up on fighting. “Come now. Let’s go inside, the sun is starting to set,” Cassandra took her hand.

Dinner was warm. Filling. It was comforting to see warm and pleasant expressions on both of her parents' faces. It had been a while since she’d been home. Even so, she suspected this peace was only temporary.

“This is wonderful dear,” Cassandra smiled. Caitlyn hadn’t seen her so proud or happy before. A close second would be when she won the shooting contest as a child. “It’s good to have you home, Caitlyn,” Caitlyn nodded.

“It’s good to be back,” she smiled. Everything felt right. Her eyes gleamed with hope at the knowledge of her future.

“Tobias, I’m going to take Caitlyn back to her room. I have a gift to give her,” Caitlyn grit her teeth. “Come on now sweetheart, I want to give you your gift,” she shuddered as her mother led her back to her room. “Go on, get your clothes off for me baby,” Caitlyn sat on her bed. No. No she wouldn’t bend to her mom’s will. Not this time.

Her mother returned with a box. Royal blue with gold trim.

“Do you not want your gift?” Caitlyn shook her head. “Ungrateful brat,” Cassandra set the box down and grabbed Caitlyn’s shirt. Nice formal wear. It was a gift. Jayce got it for her a while back. Now it was being torn off of her like it was nothing more than rags.

“No… please-“ Caitlyn’s attempts to push her mother away were futile. Caitlyn’s clothes were pulled away. Her mother opened the box.

The object was larger, longer and wider than the one her mother had given her years ago. Blue. The shaft was a blue she recognized from… somewhere. It seemed to almost hum in response to the older woman’s touch.

Caitlyn could feel her throat closing up. The glow, the hum, the way it pulsed. All unmistakable. It felt like ice was forming in her stomach. She recognized that glow. She’d spent enough time watching Jayce work on his projects.

Hextech.

No… no no no….

“Do you like it, Caitlyn?”

There were only two people who could make something like that.

And only one of them was under Cassandra Kiramman’s thumb.

"After all, I wouldn't settle for anything but the best for my good, sweet girl,"

There was something sickeningly sweet in her mother's tone, a silent order that felt all too familiar.

It made her skin crawl.

“Jayce made this with extra care because of its use,” Caitlyn wanted to throw up. A leather harness was strapped onto Cassandra’s waist. “Spread your legs for me,” Caitlyn did as she was told. “Good girl, the academy seems to have broken you well enough,” Cassandra squirted lube onto the toy and spread it while maintaining eye contact with Caitlyn. “Don’t worry dear, this won’t hurt a bit,” Caitlyn doubted that, but the toy slid into her with ease, and caused a little too much pleasure for her personal comfort. Her mouth opened, the strap seemed to fill her to a comfortable amount, changing shape and hitting all of the right (wrong?) spots. Caitlyn moaned at the sensation of the toy changing to fit her. Just her.

“Nghh- m-mom-” she hated how good it felt inside her. She hated how her voice came out as a desperate and needy moan instead of a cry for help. She hated staring at the face that had raised her, brown hair now streaked with grey, steel blue eyes that were just like her own. “Hah~ mm-!!” Caitlyn scrambled to grab her mother’s shoulders, pulling the woman closer. Cassandra thrust in and out of Caitlyn.

“You’re so good for mommy, such a good girl,” Caitlyn let out a moan into Cassandra’s shoulder. It felt good. The praise ran down her like a hot shower after a training session. All her brain could comprehend was just how good it felt. “Do you like it? You’re not even crying, baby. I’m so proud,” Cassandra tore more noises from Caitlyn, fucking her harder.

“Mm- yes- f-feels good-” she wished she was lying. Her heart pounded in her ears as she felt herself getting pushed closer to the edge. “Mom- please- wanna- wanna come~”

“Oh~ never thought I’d see the day you beg me to fuck you harder,” Cassandra’s arms wrapped around Caitlyn. “Just hold on a bit longer for me baby,” spit soaked into Cassandra’s nice shirt, Caitlyn’s cum and slick dirtying her pants. “You can do it baby, be good for mommy,” Caitlyn nodded, “that's it, come for me baby,” she bit down into her mother’s shoulder as she came. Her body trembled, walls clenching around the toy that was deep inside her. Cassandra didn’t stop though, her hips moved at the same pace, fucking Caitlyn through her orgasm. “Do you want more?”

“Ngh- yes- yes fuck me- fuck me more~” Caitlyn’s judgment was clouded. It was wrong. So wrong. She shouldn’t want this, she shouldn’t crave this. Still, her body demanded it, and her brain was the equivalent of mush. So Cassandra fucked her harder. Caitlyn’s mind raced. She’d been there for the explosion in Jayce’s lab.

If this malfunctioned… Caitlyn let out a moan. It felt like an adrenaline high, knowing that this thing could seriously hurt her. Cassandra worked a hand into Caitlyn’s hair and pulled her into a kiss. Caitlyn opened her mouth to allow her mother’s tongue in. She shut her eyes tightly as Cassandra drove her to another orgasm.

Pain shot through Caitlyn as overstimulation took hold. She let go of her mother and collapsed backwards on the bed. Her bare chest rose and fell as she tried to steady her breathing. The toy was removed from her, making Caitlyn gasp at the lack of contact.

“You did so good for me,” Cassandra ran her hands through Caitlyn’s hair.

“I… did?” Caitlyn’s voice was breathy. Exhausted. But it was also the mark of a job well done. Cassandra’s hands came to rest on Caitlyn’s face, cupping it in a manner that would’ve been sweet without the context.

“You did. You’re such a good girl, so good for mommy,” Caitlyn practically melted into her Mother’s touch. It felt good. It was comforting. “Did you like your gift,” Caitlyn nodded, “good, I’ll leave it here for you then. It’s yours after all,” Cassandra cleaned the toy and placed it back in the box before leaving the room.

Caitlyn felt satisfied. She sighed, allowing herself to settle into a state of peace and calm. That state never came.

Her mother had finally broken her. That last aspect of control she still had, the power to refuse, to beg to cry to push her mother away, all of it had been broken out of her. Her head spun. None of that should have been enjoyable. She was broken. She was what her mother wanted. Pliable, useful, and most of all, she belonged to Cassandra. A feeling of horror filled her. No one in their right mind would have enjoyed anything like that. Caitlyn sat up and pulled on her shirt for at least a semblance of security. Her stomach churned as she walked as calmly as she could out of her room and into the bathroom.

Did she… really enjoy that? Was she really that broken? Caitlyn collapsed in front of the toilet, vomiting into the bowl. Her throat burned with acid. Choked sobs only contributed to her nausea as she gagged.

“No- no no- it- I didn’t want it- I didn’t want it!” Caitlyn sobbed, her voice a raspy scream. She heaved again, reeling from the sensation of vomit in her mouth. She shouldn’t have enjoyed it. No one who was sane or normal should. If this was something she genuinely liked… she shouldn’t even be alive. She didn’t deserve to breathe the same air as those around her. Caitlyn reached up towards her sink, searching for anything. A blade, medicine, anything she could use. She had to end it. This pain. She’d put up with this for six years. Her hand landed on something sharp, making her yelp and quickly retract her hand. Blood spilled from her palm and her razor clattered to the floor. Tears ran down Caitlyn’s face as she gripped the sides of her head.

“It wasn’t my fault- I didn’t- no- I didn’t like it- please- please I didn’t-” Caitlyn was screaming, sobbing, begging for anyone to help her. Nails dug into her scalp, clawing at the skin. “No- please I- I didn’t want it- no!!” Her breathing was fast and frantic. She felt for the razor on the floor. The door burst open.

“Caitlyn?!” Familiar arms wrapped around Caitlyn as she scrambled to get away. “Shh Cait, dad is here, it’s okay, you’re safe,” Caitlyn dug her nails into her father’s skin, trying to get him away from her.

“Let me go!” Tobias only held on tighter.

“Caitlyn please I’m sorry- I’m sorry I never did anything for you, I’m sorry I never helped,”

“Get off of me-! Please- please just go-”

“No, no I won’t leave you to get hurt this time,” the razor blade was just out of Caitlyn’s reach.

“I’m disgusting- everything about me-”

“You’re not disgusting Caitlyn. You’re a strong, smart, beautiful woman. None of those are anywhere near disgusting,” Caitlyn sniffled, her grip on her father’s arms relaxing. “Wanna tell me what happened? Other than… the obvious. It’s just never sent you spiraling this bad,”

“I- I liked it and- it felt- it felt good and I feel disgusting for it since it’s never felt good and- I gave in I begged for more- I wanted more-” Tobias rubbed soothing circles into her back.

“It’s alright Caitlyn. Please, I promise it’s okay. You’ll be out of the house soon, you’ll be working with the enforcers, and you’ll be away from mom. I can’t… I can’t do anything to protect you now, but I’ll try my best,” Caitlyn sobbed into his shoulder. How was Tobias supposed to comfort her? He’d never expected Caitlyn would be a victim to such horrible things. What he did know was that he had to keep her calm. Caitlyn’s emotions were still running high and she would almost certainly do something stupid.

“I didn’t want it- please believe me I- I didn’t-”

“I know you didn’t. It’s alright, I believe you,”

“Then why haven’t you done anything to save me?!” Tobias was taken aback. Caitlyn was right, and it hurt. Her words were sharp, calculated, knowing exactly how to hurt him. “Six years. Six years and you did nothing?! You could’ve saved me, you could’ve helped me, yet you just let it happen!”

“I couldn’t do anything, Caitlyn. Your mother threatened me if I ever helped you again. I spent those years trying to convince her to let me do something, anything, to help you. I’m sorry. I wish I was stronger for you,” Tobias didn’t let go of Caitlyn. He saw her eyes glancing between him and the blade on the ground. Caitlyn could’ve overpowered him if she wanted. “I love you Cait,” Caitlyn pulled herself closer to her dad.

“I’m sorry,”

“There’s nothing to be sorry for Caitlyn,” Tobias whispered, “trust me. Mom is the only one who should be sorry. Come with me, let’s get your palm bandaged okay?” Tobias pulled Caitlyn to her feet. “Your wrists…” he stared at the scars from friction burns. The skin on her wrists were the odd texture of scar tissue. “Your arms, Cait, what have you been doing to yourself?”

“Not all of them were from me,” Tobias nodded and led Caitlyn to the kitchen. He pulled out a first aid kit.

“Take a deep breath for me,” Caitlyn inhaled and winced as a cloth drenched in rubbing alcohol was pressed into her palm.

“Agh-!!” Caitlyn sobbed. It burned. It burned like the feeling of acid in her throat. “Fuck- f-fuck-”

“I know it hurts, but this cut is deep, I’m going to need to stitch it,” Caitlyn nodded, gritting her teeth as her father sutured the wound shut. She wasn’t going to cry. This was something she could handle, right? “There we go. All done, let me just wrap this up,” Tobias wrapped a thin layer of gauze over the newly stitched wound. “There, how does it feel?”

“It hurts,”

“Other than that,”

“Clean. It feels clean. Hurts a bit less than it did,” Tobias nodded, “thank you,” Caitlyn moved her fingers, making sure she had enough range of motion, “it means a lot,”

“You should learn more first aid, I know that wasn’t one of the courses you took but you should at least know the basics,” Caitlyn sighed.

“Yeah I know,”

“It’s gonna be important,”

“I know,” Tobias shook his head. Seeing Caitlyn so… defeated, was new. “Should I even be an enforcer at this point?”

“What do you mean?” Caitlyn shrugged.

“I can’t defend myself from my own mother, what good will I be to other people?”

“You graduated top of your class, Caitlyn. They know you’re ready. It’s harder to be kind to yourself than it is to be kind to other people. You’re very hard on yourself Cait,”

“Of course I’m hard on myself. I have to be. I’m a Kiramman, and my actions reflect on our family name. I can’t just- I can’t just let myself loose, I have to be strong. I can’t tell anyone, mom said she’d kill them or keep them quiet. I don’t want anyone else dead because of me and my foolishness,” Tobias stared at Caitlyn, who had buried her face in her hands.

“Anyone else? Who… who else-”

“Grayson. She said that it was my fault- and- if I’d kept my mouth shut she’d still be alive,”

“Caitlyn… that’s- no… that’s what mom said?” Caitlyn nodded. “That’s not what happened. Grayson was killed in action. Her death was caused by some gang in the undercity that got their hands on shimmer. Caitlyn it’s not your fault,” Caitlyn’s eyes widened. Her breathing steadied. It… wasn’t her fault? “Grayson died honorably. She’d be proud to see how strong you’ve been. If she could see you now… she’d be so, so unbelievably proud. Trust me,” Caitlyn smiled. She’d been believing a lie this whole time? Tears rolled down her cheeks, stinging her already watery eyes. Small choked laughs escaped her as she tried to dry her eyes.

“I- It’s not my fault?”

“It never was, Cait,” Caitlyn sniffled, trying not to cry too loudly. “It’s okay Caitlyn, you can cry. Mom isn’t here,” Caitlyn smiled as she broke down. Tears poured out of her eyes, a smile on her face. “It has never been your fault,”

“I- it’s just nice- nice to hear someone say that,” Tobias looked at her with an expression of regret. She’d carried the weight of Grayson’s death on her shoulders for years with no one there to support her or tell her the truth. “I always thought people would die because of me- I was scared to tell anyone. Jayce saw the bruises and I was so scared he’d die too,” Caitlyn wiped her eyes, “thank you for telling me,” Tobias nodded.

“I didn’t know your mother lied to you like that. It’s disgusting, no one should convince their child they were the cause for something like that,”

“I know,” Tobias rubbed his temples.

“Would you like to stay up with me tonight? Your work doesn’t start for a few days, we can just read and relax while your mother is asleep or doing her own work,” Caitlyn smiled.

“I’d like that very much,”
