Chapter Text

The lunch bell finally rang, waking Yuichirou from his slumber. “Where you asleep again?” a small voice behind him asked.
“Obviously, Yukimi-sensei’s classes are so boring!” He groaned as he turned to face the girl.
“Yuu-san … you have to be more serious this term! You’re just going to keep losing more brain cells than you already have” Shinoa scolded in her most serious voice, waving her finger around.
“Haha, very funny, now let’s go to lunch” Yuu said, ruffling her hair. He knew how much she hated that. He almost couldn’t hear her angry huff as he rushed out of the class room. Lunch was his favorite time of the school day and he wasn’t going to waste it arguing with Shinoa.

“Hi, Yuu-kun!”
“Hey, Yoichi” Yuu greeted as he took a seat next to his boyfriend. “I missed you a lot today…since we didn’t have any classes together” he smiled and gave Yoichi a small peck on the lips, causing said boy to turn beat red.
“Get a room already” Mitsuba groaned as she shoved a piece of food into her mouth.
“Oh, don’t me jealous, Mitsu-chan! I’m here for you!” Shinoa chimed as she plopped down next to the girl and affectionately rubbed her cheek against Mitsuba’s. The blond growled and tried to pry the small girl off of her, but to no avail. Yuu chuckled as he watched the exchange between the girls. He found it amusing and almost endearing how Mitsuba tried to hide her feelings for Shinoa, even though they were painfully obvious.
“I wish all of you would go inside that room” Kimizuki murmured under his breath. He was sitting next to Mitsuba, reading a book, as usual. Although his tone was sharper than usual.
“What’s got you so upset?” Mitsuba raised a brow. The pink haired boy clicked his tongue.
“It’s just off putting and gross seeing everyone acting so ‘romantic’… especially with Yoichi practically sitting on Yuu’s lap” He sounded almost disgusted as he glanced at the pair of boyfriends. Yoichi immediately shifted away from Yuu, staring down at his own lap.
Nobody made another comment after that, with Shinoa desperately changing the topic to lighten up the awkward atmosphere. Yuu carefully studied the pink head before him as everyone else conversed. If he hadn’t known the reason for the boy’s foul mood, Yuu would have punched his glasses right off.
Kimizuki had feelings for Yoichi. Yuu had noticed how Kimizuki’s attitude had changed within the first couple of days him and Yoichi started dating. He wasn’t as oblivious as he seemed, he could see the way he would look at Yoichi at times, the same way Yuu looked at Yoichi himself. Surprisingly, he was the only one in the group to figure it out.
Although he didn’t want Kimizuki to feel hurt, or resent him and Yoichi, he sure as hell wasn’t going to give up the sweet, brown haired boy beside him.

“Now, be good on your first day of school, Mikaela!” Krul waved as one of the maids held the door open for her. Mikaela smiled and bent down as the pink haired woman gave him a kiss on the forehead.
“Hopefully, you’ll see your precious Yuu-chan” She winked, giggling as Mika’s cheeks flushed. Krul knew how he felt about his childhood friend who he hadn’t seen in so long. Even though he would be starting school the next day, Mika still felt butterflies in his stomach.
“I’ll have Ferid drive you there tomorrow, I don’t want you going out by yourself” She said, and he felt the feeling in his stomach turn into something cold. He almost felt sick.
“Oh, I‘m almost late! Bye, now!”
“Bye” Mika waved as he watched his guardian leave through the huge front doors, the sound of her stiletto heels on the marble floor could be heard from inside. Once she’d left and the maids have stopped pestering him about what he was going to eat for dinner, he made his way to his room and fell face first onto his bed. ‘Why did it have to be Ferid of all people!? Can’t he not ruin my day just this once!? I finally have the chance to see Yuu-chan again… but now…”
“Mika-Chan…”
Mika tensed. He knew who that voice belonged to. He quickly threw himself under the blankets and curled into a ball, he could hear the sound of footsteps drawing close to his room. Maybe he’d go away if Mika pretended to be asleep?
“Are you in here, my little Mika?” Mika cringed, he could almost hear the smile in Ferid’s voice. “Could you be sleeping?” The man asked as he leaned over the boy. Mika’s breath quickened, he tried his best to keep his eyes closed.
“I’ll play along with you today, but don’t expect me to be so kind next time” Ferid whispered. He was close enough that Mika could feel Ferid’s hot breath on his ear, yet he refused to open his eyes.
“Sleep well and see you tomorrow, Mika-chan!” Ferid waved as he left the room. The sound of footsteps followed and soon the sound of the front door opening and closing could be heard.
Once Mika deemed it safe, he crawled out of his nest of blankets and slammed his bedroom door closed, something Ferid had forgotten to do when he left.
He leaned his back against the door and slowly sunk down onto the floor. He wrapped his arms around himself as if he could stop the tremors that wracked his body. Mika felt a single tear trail down his pale cheek and bit his lip.
‘I hate this… But it’s alright… I’ll see Yuu-chan again… Yuu-chan will save me… for sure’
