Prologue
Come on, just knock. It’s not that big of a deal,
right? Keefe was at Splendor Plains - Elwin’s
house. Technically, it's still Keefe
’s house. Keefe
raised his hand once more. Suddenly, the door
swung open. Elwin looked up. “Keefe?”

Keefe POV - Chapter 1
Keefe was not having a good day. Sophie seemed
to be avoiding him, & none of their friends had
come to visit him since he came back. But mostly,
Keefe was thinking about Elwin. He had left with no
explanation. At least Sophie got a note… Elwin
had done so much for Keefe, and yet Keefe still left him
completely in the dark. “That’s it,
” Keefe said to
himself. “I’m going to see Elwin today.”
