Work Text:
Snow falls in the city in which not many people are found walking the streets of. It's early morning on Christmas day, why would people be walking around? Most of them are spending time with their families, the few on the street traveling to meet their loved ones now. In a tiny apartment there is a woman who could not say the same, however. While she wasn’t around anyone, she was focused on one of the few things she could say she loved. Her drawings. Not like she was actually drawing at the moment. She was just looking over old art works she had previously drawn and posted. All of which had almost 0 likes, it was embarrassing, but in her mind refreshing a couple more times to see if magically 5000 more people seen her art couldn’t have hurt. She’s been living in the apartment for about 2 years now, coincidentally, 2 years ago is when she turned 18, she left the nest almost immediately, not like she had much choice. She thinks to herself. Well, no that's not right Aurora, you did have a choice…You could’ve just been normal… Oh no not these thoughts again.
I mean of course, If she was just a normal man and she managed to lead a normal life then maybe her family wouldn’t have disowned her, maybe she wouldn’t be in this shabby apartment living off of her wealthy grandparent's inheritance. An inheritance she surely wouldn’t have if they had lived long enough to see the disappointment their son became. Maybe she would actually be with people who cared about her on Christmas if she could’ve just repressed those thoughts of transition forever, if she just never told anyone. But she did. Aurora did tell someone. She still remembers that mistake. The mistake of opening up to someone about how she felt. She told her school counselor, in her senior year. Aurora, at that point not even being Aurora, wasn't a star student, which was mostly fine, considering the wealth of the family they belonged to, college was pretty much a guarantee regardless of grades. She never played sports despite her, or well, his size. Which his family always found a shame. He never had a girlfriend up to this point, which again his family found strange. But it all connected when the family got a call from the school regarding their son or what they thought to be their son, regarding “her” mental health.
Aurora could never forget that day. She received so many insults and backlash, disgusting remarks, truths came out she honestly wishes she couldn’t hear, but she could. She did. Considering Aurora was 18 and she already had access to her inheritance money, she just left. She knew no one would care, and 2 years later, no one did. She still checks their family's social media accounts from time to time. No mention of her, or even What she used to be. They treat her like she never existed in their lives. But to be fair, when she was there, they treated her the same, Abuse, neglect, hate, because she wasn’t “man” enough. In hindsight the signs of her being trans were always there, to all of them, none of them wanted to believe it.
A few weeks after Aurora fled, she got on Hrt. It was a blissful feeling at first. The feeling that she could finally be who she wanted to be after years of hiding but, sadly it didn’t change much in her eyes, day after day, week after week, Two whole years later. Nothing changed in her eyes. She looked in the mirror and was disappointed to see what she always saw, a worthless human. A failed man who even failed at being a woman. She eventually gave up wearing clothes meant for girls the few times she showed her face in public. She threw out all makeup she had and stopped caring about her hair as well. Her only saving grace was that she was good at a girl voice from a young age. That made being harassed by men on video games easy. Weirdly, it was the only form of gender affirmation she received. She would often lie in bed all day, barely finding motivation to even check her phone, much less shower, eat, or even draw. That's why she did it so infrequently. When she did check her phone, she knew what she would find. A bunch of other girls living better lives than her. Girls who could pass better than her, girls who had more relationships than her. Girls who succeeded at life. It made her sick. Sick to think other trans people could be happy while she couldn’t be. She would often get so angry she would turn off her phone, grab a boxcutter, and release that anger in the only way she knew how too. This never helped however, as she would often just open her phone again soon after. The cycle never ended.
After another few refreshes of her art page and nothing happening, she decides to call it quits, she checks her phone and what she sees sends her into a frenzy. She saw a post from her sister. A post containing an image containing her entire family together on Christmas, a few she didn't even recognize. The photo was captioned “Christmas with the entire family”. They looked so happy. That one photo confirmed what she already knew, but didn’t want to fully admit. They did not care about her anymore. Auroras’ heartbeat spiked. Her breathing grew heavy, she felt worse than she ever felt. She felt as if her apartment walls were getting closer. Like everything was collapsing. She almost fell out of her chair as she stumbled over to her closet, grabbing the first jacket she saw. Only one thought running through her mind on repeat at this point. A thought she rarely ever had with this amount of eagerness. I need to get outside
She ran out of her apartment quickly. And ran further down the street. She honestly lost track of time as she ran through the snow. She didn’t care however, as it felt like she needed to run. As if she was running from something. More like she was running from herself, from what she has become. Eventually she slowed down, her breath heavy again, not from anxiety this time, but simply from the physical exertion her poor body hasn’t experienced in years of rotting in bed. When she came to, she looked around, she didn’t even know where she was exactly. She ordered almost everything, so she had a vast lack of knowledge of her own neighborhood. She was cold. The only thing she threw over her body in her hurry was a hoodie. That’s just great isn’t it. She thought to herself. She looked around until she turned to see she was right in front of a cafe. Coincidentally, it was one of the few places with an “Open” sign on the door. With no other choice to escape from the cold, Aurora walked in. The air was warm, it immediately calmed her down, she felt relaxed despite her previous situation. She looked around. Yea, this place is empty. I mean it made sense. It was Christmas day and this wasn’t a big city where you would get much foot traffic even on the holidays. Even the types to go out in public at coffee shops to work (The types Aurora could never understand) were partial to just staying home today. Aurora suddenly hears a voice calling from the center of the establishment “May I help you, Ma’am?”
An alarm blared loudly, followed quickly by a hand stopping it. A woman rose and rubbed her eyes. After a few seconds of quiet she mumbles “Okay, let's go.” To herself before rising. She had multiple texts. All of them she simply neglected to read. Work was the most important thing. She showered and got her hair together, she got clothed and ran downstairs. She pulled a key out her pocket and walked to the store front. This part of her day never failed to make her smirk just a bit. Jasmine's Cafe was once again opened. She rushed to the kitchen, turning on all appliances. Setting up all treats in the glass display, making sure every table and chair was cleaned. It didn’t matter if this was Christmas. “Prepare everyday like health inspection would be there.” That's what her mother said to her all the time when she used to force her to run this business with her after school. Which was ironic because the health inspector was bribed like 95% of the time. It wasn’t all bad however, Jasmine always got a small paycheck, a paycheck that would even make a part time employee cry, but to a teenager, it was a fortune.
Jasmine never really got the business, she never really understood why her mom worked so hard, day in and day out. Why she always treated the most evil and despicable customers with care and served them with a smile. It made no sense. To Jasmine, it appeared her mother treated this cafe like she needed it to live. But still, regardless of her attitude towards the shop, Jasmine's Mom had off days, she could tell. Days where she couldn’t, days where it felt like it would kill her to open the cafe. But she would always open anyway. She would always give it 100%. And that's something she would always commend her mother for. Up until she couldn’t work anymore, up until day she collapsed.
She remembers the hours she was in the hospital. It felt like years. She was waiting for the doctors to tell her anything and at a certain point she felt like she would never get an answer. “It's cancer” she remembers it being told to her bluntly. “Stage 3, she’s luckily stable, and lucky to be alive, but the treatment is costly”. Some more was said, but Jasmine tuned it out. It was her last month before going to college. She was supposed to be in a whole other part of the country next month. However, due to her mother's condition, how could she go? She needed to stay. She needed to work to gain as much money as she possibly could. So, she did.
Jasmine dropped out. She woke up every day at 5am and worked until 10pm. She worked tirelessly every single day, weekends included. Only closing early on Sundays to visit her mom, who, due to her worsening condition, was stuck in the hospital. She had to not only work but improve the shop. Miraculously she did. More customers poured in day after day, word spread about her amazing service, and more people came as a result. Suddenly, Jasmine understood her mom. She understood how it felt to work like everything depended on it. She would often skip meals, putting every dime that wasn’t put into the treatment fund, into improving the shop. She would neglect her friends and her other family. She had no time for them. Work was the most important thing.
She remembers her last visit to the hospital, she walked to her mother's room, like she usually did. She found multiple doctors already in her room. When she walked in, she found out that all of her work was practically worthless. It was too late. Jasmine's mom was gone, with her went a part of Jasmine herself. She never heard her mom's last words. A part of her glad that she never did. What would that even leave her with?
After the tragedy, Jasmine kept working, what else could she do. What else did she know? Not much. She never really reached out to friends or family after that. What would she do that for? Sympathy? Pity? A possible replacement for her mom? After the neglect she treated her loved one with during that period, she couldn’t possibly reach out again. So, she continued to Not reach out, for 5 years, and now, it's Christmas day. One of many Christmas days she worked. No one was coming in, rarely anyone did on this day, but she opened anyway, she came to like the atmosphere here, it made Jasmine feel like she had a purpose, even if the reason she was so addicted to the Cafe was gone. She checked her phone as she was bored and hesitantly read a text from one of her relatives, her uncle. “Merry Christmas, Stay Safe” That's all it said, she couldn’t even muster the courage to respond. “More pity”. She thought to herself. That's all she ever felt.
She shut off her phone and as she did, she heard the bell at the door ring, signifying someone entering the door. She looked up to see a rather tall, lengthy woman, she seemed nervous to even enter the door. Jasmine examined the woman look around the room. She somehow seemed lost even though this was the most “Obviously a Cafe”, Cafe of all time. After seeing her awkwardly shuffle at the entrance, Jasmine decides to speak up, “May I help you, Ma’am?”
Aurora tenses up. She somehow didn’t expect to hear a voice in a place of business. And Ma’am? Did she actually call her Ma’am? She didn’t look like a woman at all! She must’ve not been close enough for her terrible features to be realized. She shuffles to the counter.
“H-Hello Miss… C-can I please ask for a black coffee with s-sugar?”
Jasmine found her voice incredibly cute, it was shy and a bit shrill, but Jamine could tell she was trying to be calm.
“A black coffee with sugar… And is that all ma’am?” Jasmine responded
Aurora felt confused. Ma’am again?? Is she just being nice?? Aurora looked down at the glass and pointed at an item. “A-and this…”
“And one apple pie, your total is 7.53.”
Aurora reached into her pocket and realized that when she ran out of her apartment, she didn’t run out with a wallet. Dumbass! She shyly looked up and mumbled out “I-I forgot my wallet… I'm so sorry I’ll be right back…” Aurora turned to walk to the door. She didn’t even know how far her apartment was from here, due to the sheer embarrassment, she didn’t even know if she would be back. But Aurora is stopped by the lady at the counter. “It's fine, it’s on the house.”
Aurora turned around shocked, “F-for real?”
Jasmine smirked “Yes for real~ It’s Christmas after all, I’ll be right back”
Aurora sat down at a table as Jasmine prepared the items. Jasmine never usually did stuff like that. Honestly based on how the woman was dressed, she could’ve easily been homeless. But Jasmine figured, due to the sincerity of her voice, that she was being honest. And to add on top of this, Jasmine did really find her charming.
Jasmine brought the items to Aurora. Aurora quickly picked up the Apple Pie. Just as she was about to take a bite, she looks at Jasmine and blurts out a “Thank You!”
Jasmine watches her eat and drink her items that she has been making for almost a decade now, knowing that she obviously found them delicious “So what brings you here?”
Aurora freezes. How could she possibly tell her that?! How could she even tell her the half of her story without dumping basically everything on her. She decides to just say a part of it. “Away from family…” She mumbles
Jasmine zones out for a bit, she thinks about her… “I can…Yea I can relate to that…”
“But still, why did you come here?”
Aurora looks away “I-I kinda just… ended up here”
Jasmine eyebrow raises a bit “Really just ended up here huh? Out of all places?”
Aurora blushes. Even the truth from her sounds insane. “Y-yea.”
Jasmine smirks “Well I’m glad someone as cute as you showed up, I don’t get many customers on the holidays”
Aurora blushes more. Did… Did she just call her…? N-No! She couldn’t have! No way! She must’ve just been being nice… that's the only way she could possibly treat someone as manly as her as a woman, and that's the only way she could’ve said that to her “Th-thank you” Aurora mumbles.
Jasmine thinks deeper, for some strange reason, she feels connected to the person sitting across from her, as if she was an innocent stray dog, as insulting as it would be to say that out loud. She viewed the woman as someone she had to take care of.
“What’s your name ma’am?” Jasmine asks after a moment of silence.
“...Aurora.” Aurora never really told people her name, not people she met in real life. The few times she did go outside, all of her documents had her deadname on it. So she just used that, but this time, she decided to be honest.
Jasmine smiles and sticks out her hand “I’m Jasmine!”
Aurora shakes her hand and mumbles, “I-I seen on the sign…” Aurora’s hand was much larger than Jasmines. She hated it.
“Hey Aurora, since I’m probably getting no other customers today, do you want to come to my place and try some Christmas themed cookies I made? I usually make them yearly, but this year they didn’t come out looking so good, so I kept them upstairs.” Jasmine was extremely sincere in her offer, she could tell Aurora was going through something, she’s been there.
Aurora freezes, not accustomed to this hospitality, she is obviously shy, but the idea of denying and making Jasmine sad scares her more. “S-Sure…” she says, still debating the choice in her mind as if she didn’t already make her choice.
Jasmine stands up “Nice, just step out and let me close up shop, okay?”
Aurora nods and steps outside. She looks up to see snow still falling, even the news didn’t predict it going on for this long. Between the snow and meeting this nice lady, a lot of unexpected things happened today. She then thinks the dumbest thought she has ever thought to have. “Hopefully nothing else too surprising happens today.”
After Jasmine closes shop, she takes Aurora upstairs, “Go into the living room and sit, I’ll be only a moment”. Aurora nods and goes to sit down. She looked around, Jasmine's place was really nice, it was nice and well kept, compared to Aurora's place anyway…
The more Aurora looked around the more guilty she felt, how could she possibly waste this nice lady's time? How selfish was she. It was Christmas and she was here mooching off of a complete stranger because of a random breakdown she had. She felt her heartbeat rise again. She didn’t even deserve to be in the presence of someone so caring…
Right as her thoughts reached their heights, Jasmine interrupted her. “Here you go!” She placed a tray of red and green cookies on the counter. “They may not look the best, but I promise you they’re delicious~”
Aurora blushed as she snapped out of her thoughts, she took a cookie and bit into it, her face lighting up. “Th-these are really good!” Aurora finished her cookie and took another, and another. These were the best cookies Aurora ever had.
All the while Jasmine simply smiled, watching Aurora be so happy was the best to her. It’s like she succeeded in taking care of her. It was everything to simply watch her eat her baking and enjoy it. It felt different than when customers did it. This time it felt special.
Aurora suddenly stops when she realizes she had eaten a bit over half of the tray. She’s really done it now… She already thought she was being selfish but eating almost all of the food someone else offered her? She knew she was overstepping just by even being in here. But now she just felt guilty. She stood up. “Th-Thank you for the cookies!” She blurts out “S-sorry for eating so many…” she bows a bit slightly. Do people even bow to say sorry in real life??? Her only reference point for people doing basic things with others in recent years was anime so she had no idea. She turns to walk out of the apartment until she feels a hand on her shoulder
“Don’t go.” Jasmine says. Even Jasmine herself didn’t expect to say that to her. Don’t Go? Why on earth did I say that… She was never the type to actually care what the people in her life did, she was usually eager for people to leave her alone but this. This felt different… This felt like she was scared for Aurora to go.
Aurora turned around, she looked scared, like a puppy. Jesus Christ Jasmine thought to herself. She was too damn cute for her own good. Jasmine couldn’t bear to see her leave. What if she really was homeless? What if someone else takes advantage of the shy woman? She couldn’t bear the thought. She had a lot to say to Aurora. Alot to confess. But it all came out as a motion Jasmine didn’t even mean to do. Jasmine stands up more to Aurora's height and kisses her.
Aurora’s eyes widened but she didn’t pull away. That was the last thing she wanted to do. This was the first time Aurora has been this close to a human in years. A hug would’ve made her feel this needy.
Jasmine pulls away slightly. Only muttering two words as she looks up at Aurora.
“Lie down.”
Aurora nods and lies down on the couch without a second thought.
Jasmine sits on Aurora's lap as she lies down. Jasmine leans in and kisses Aurora again, this time, Jasmine was only going to stop if Aurora wanted her to, because Jasmine definitely didn’t want to stop. Jasmine’s tongue pierces Aurora’s lips easily. She uses this opening to explore Aurora's mouth.
While Jasmine has had experience with this before, Aurora was a complete newcomer to this. She’s never had sex, much less kissed anyone. She couldn’t even imagine holding hands in a romantic setting. This felt insane to her, but it also felt amazing, she let it happen, she had too, because she loved it, and she knew Jasmine did too.
But suddenly that comfort went away when she remembers who she was, more specifically. What she wasn’t. She suddenly presses against Jasmine's chest and pushes her away, leaving both of them panting.
Jasmine tilts her head looking down at Aurora concerned, but she gets her answer quickly. Aurora blurts out “I'm trans!” It was the loudest Jasmine had heard her so far. “I-I’m trans and… y-you probably wouldn’t…want to be with me because of th-that...”
Jasmine looked at Aurora and then laughed a bit, Aurora really was cute. “Aurora… I could kinda figure that~”
Aurora's face gets even redder. She mumbles “O-of course you could… I-I look so manly, and I don’t even have t-tits…” Aurora looks away.
Jasmine giggles even more and softly grabs hold of Aurora's chin, forcing her to look at her. “Not because of that silly. I meant… I could kinda feel it~”
Aurora looks confused for a bit until her eyes widen. To say she was a bit turned on right now was an understatement. She was very hard, and it would take a very oblivious person to not notice it. She was about to die of embarrassment. How could I possibly get hard from just kissing?? Someone as disgusting as herself didn’t deserve pleasure. Not in her mind. She felt so gross. She looked up at Jasmine, something she could barely do at this point, and started to mutter out an apology.
“I-Im so sor-” Aurora's words freeze as she is cut off by the motion of Jasmine's hands moving to undo the button on her jeans. The button comes undone, the zipper is opened, and her pants, and underwear are pulled down, causing her cock to spring out.
Jasmine slowly moves Aurora's hoodie up to avoid making a possible mess. She wants to take it off, but Aurora moves her hand to stop her. Aurora looked at Jasmine, worried. She didn’t want Jasmine to see her upper body. She couldn’t even look at it herself, why would Jasmine want to? Not to mention the multiple disgusting ugly scars she had on her arms. She didn’t want to gross out, or worse, scare Jasmine. Not now.
Jasmine, of course, didn’t know this. She only knew what she saw. The adorable girl under her pleading with her to stop with just her eyes. So, she stopped. Because she wanted Aurora happy no matter what. She didn’t move the hoodie up past her chest.
Aurora looks down and then back up at Jasmine right as Jasmine looks down at her. Jasmine's hand is really close to her shaft at this point. “Can I?” Jasmine asks softly. Aurora simply nods.
Jasmine's hand softly but firmly grips around Aurora's shaft, stroking it up and down, Jasmine simply stares at it while smirking, as if she’s in some kind of awe.
Aurora, however, can’t believe this. She’s jerked off before, obviously, but she never imagined this. The idea of having someone else do this to her was almost unbelievable. She always imagined herself being doomed to a life of zero intimacy. I mean, who would want to please someone like her? The thought was insane in itself. But here she was. Somehow, the hand on this part of her body, being someone else's, made the experience feel 10x better than when she did it herself. She had no choice but to let out cute little moans. This caused Jasmine to pick up the pace. Aurora couldn’t bear it any longer, the whole situation was too much. So, she let out how she felt.
Suddenly Jasmine’s hand stopped. When Aurora came to and looked down, she realized why. She came. All of her thoughts racing at that pace and the sheer pleasure made it feel like longer than it actually was. But after it was all said and done Aurora thought to herself. That couldn’t have been longer than 2 minutes! She was extremely embarrassed with her actions. She left this woman's hands dirty after such little time! She looked up at Jasmine and started pleading. “I-I'm sorry... I’m really sorry about this” But Jasmine was barely listening, she only looked at Aurora and said, “Can you…get hard again…”
Aurora’s mind ran a blank, but her body listened clearly, she was ready again in seconds. Jasmine smirked. “Good girl~” she whispered.
Jasmine took her pants and underwear down. She then grasped Aurora's dick and lined it up with her vagina, which at this point was soaking. She quickly slid down onto her length, causing both of them to moan softly. Jasmine moved her body up and down in an attempt to please Aurora. She needed to please Aurora. That was her only goal at this point. It has been so long, since she’s been around someone she’s cared about, since she’s been around someone she’s actively wanted to see. When Jasmine looked into Aurora’s eyes, it was the first time in so long that she knew someone didn’t have pity for her. And as weird as it sounded. The only way she knew that is because Jasmine deep down pitied the girl. The shy nature, the insecurities, the guilt she clearly had stored up. She couldn’t look into her past and find out why she had those burdens, but she could look into Aurora's eyes and tell they were there. Jasmine didn’t want her to carry these burdens anymore. Jasmine wanted her to feel safe around herself. And as dirty as a first meeting as this was, if the first step to fixing her issues was to make her feel this type of pleasure, then she had no issue with it.
Aurora hesitantly moved her hand to Jasmine's waist. Aurora’s hold tightened. Jasmine did not mind. Aurora still felt guilty. She felt extremely weird. Did she deserve this pleasure? Would anyone in her past life agree if she herself even thought she did? She didn’t know. But she did know that in this moment she didn’t care. It wasn’t even the fact that she was losing her virginity right now that brought so much pleasure to her. Even though that was definitely a part of it. It was more the fact that this was the first experience with real contact she’s felt in so long. Sure she’s accidentally grazed the hand of a cashier when receiving change on the rare occasion she goes to the store in real life. Sure, she may have accidentally locked eyes with a neighbor while grabbing mail and then imagined contact then. But this was real. Very real. Someone was willingly being around her, willingly pleasuring her, no matter how disgusting she viewed herself, Jasmine for whatever reason viewed her differently. It was amazing.
When Jasmine and Aurora’s eyes met for a brief second, they had a similar, no, an identical thought. “Maybe it’s okay to be me”. If someone like me could be around someone like her, and the other truly didn’t mind, then maybe… Maybe they could finally be happy. Maybe they could escape their respective cycles of self-hatred to actually have a chance to love themselves. With the help of the other it would be really easy.
Aurora muttered out a warning
“I-I'm cl-close to…”
“It’s fine” Jasmine interrupts confidently “Do it” It sounded more like a command then reassurance, but Aurora was in no position to question it. So, Aurora came, and shortly after Jasmine did too.
Jasmine stopped her movement after Aurora slowly opened her eyes. The two gazes met. They were both happy.
Jasmine suddenly flopped on Aurora's body, moving her own head into her neck gently. Aurora gasped a bit but stayed silent. Jasmine had a lot to say, a lot to ask. Frankly a lot to do. They should really be cleaning up first, it was a fucking mess. What could she even say? Aurora just unlocked so much for her she didn’t even know where to sta-
“M-Merry Christmas…!”
Jasmine looks up confused to see an embarrassed Aurora. Aurora had no idea why she said that. Aurora felt since Jasmine took the lead with so much up to this point, that she should say something. That just happened to be the thing she said.
Jasmine smiled and then laughed, getting comfortable on top of Aurora’s body again.
“Yea… Merry Christmas~”
