Movie Night

Summary:

Knives adores his older brother and when Vash says he wants to teach him something, Knives is more than willing to listen and learn.

Notes:

I guess this is technically my first fic of the year! This was written for the VK Valentines exchange and it was sooo much fun. Teen Knives/Creepy Older Brother Vash is such a good flavor. I was so excited to get that as my prompt. It was a present for me as much as it was a present for my partner haha

I hope y'all like it <3

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Knives’s older brother is home from college for winter break and he couldn’t be happier. Vash is set to graduate in the spring and Knives doesn’t know where he’ll end up after that so he wants to make the most of the time he knows he has left with his brother.

Knives has always idolized Vash. His big brother is his hero. He had cried like a baby when he first left for school four years ago. Vash still likes to remind him of that. But Knives is much more mature now and he doesn’t cry when his brother leaves, even if sometimes he wants to.

Rem is out for the evening. Vash told her that he would take care of Knives for the night like Knives is still eleven and needs a babysitter. Not that he’s upset to be spending the night with Vash. He just wishes that his brother would treat him more like an adult.

“So what have you been up to while I’ve been away?” Vash asks as they’re both sat at the dining room table. Knives looks up from the textbook he’s been poring over.

“School,” Knives says. “I have to start thinking about what colleges I want to apply to.”

“What about when you’re not at school?” Vash asks. “What do you do with your friends?”

“I don’t have a lot of friends,” Knives admits.

“What about girls?” Vash asks.

“What about girls?” Knives asks, frowning.

“I mean, are you seeing anyone?” Vash laughs. Knives’s cheeks go pink.

“I have more important things to worry about,” Knives tells him.

“What’s more important than girls?” Vash asks.

“The SATs,” Knives says. You , Knives doesn’t say.

“Oh come on,” Vash says. “You must have at least been on a couple dates, right?”

Knives’s cheeks go pinker and he looks back down at his textbook.

“Have you never been on a date?” Vash asks, incredulously.

“I told you,” Knives mumbles. “I have more important things to do.”

“You’re 16,” Vash says, like somehow Knives could have forgotten. “How have you never been on a date?”

Knives doesn’t answer.

“Going on dates is an important life skill,” Vash insists. “You can’t go off to college without learning it.”

“I don’t want to go on a date with some stupid girl,” Knives tells him.

“Oh come on, it’s fun,” Vash says. “I’ll teach you.”

“How are you going to teach me?” Knives asks, looking up from his schoolwork.

“We’ll have a date,” Vash tells him. “Here. Tonight. I’ll show you what to do.”

Knives stares suspiciously back at his brother. It seems a little strange but he can’t say no to having a few hours of Vash’s undivided attention.

“Okay,” Knives agrees, finally.

“Awesome,” Vash says. “Put your books away.”

Vash turns off all the lights in the living room and puts on some stupid romcom. He insists that’s what girls like so it has to be accurate. Knives agrees. This whole thing seems stupid. It’s pointless to argue about the details.

Vash starts the movie and relaxes back into the couch next to Knives. They’re sitting close enough that their thighs are pressed together. He supposes that this is also for accuracy’s sake, but it makes his heart beat a little faster.

“Just relax,” Vash tells him. Knives nods.

The movie is just as stupid as Knives expected it to be. Maybe Vash is right and this is what dates are like. This night is going to be a pain.

Knives peeks over at his brother. Vash is staring at the tv intently. Knives sighs and goes back to the movie. Vash yawns loudly and stretches his arms up over his head. When they come back down, one arm ends up around Knives’s shoulder.

“What…?” Knives starts to say.

“Watch the movie,” Vash tells him.

Knives nods again but his heart is racing. Vash is even closer now. He leans down to breathe in Knives’s ear.

“Sometimes,” Vash tells him, voice low. “When a girl asks you to see a movie, she doesn’t actually want to watch the movie.”

Knives forces himself to keep breathing. Vash takes his other hand and rests it on Knives’s knee.

“Movie theaters are so big and dark,” Vash says. “Anything can happen.”

Vash rubs his thumb back and forth across Knives’s knee.

“You want to be prepared for that, right?” Vash asks.

“Yeah,” Knives says, but it comes out more like a squeak.

“Relax,” Vash breathes as he drags his hand slowly up Knives’s thigh. “You’re doing great.”

Knives supposes that this is what he had been hoping for. Vash is finally treating him like an adult. It’s a little bit scary but his brother’s attention is addicting.

Knives tries to stay focused on the movie but Vash’s hand has made its way up his thigh and is now sliding up under his shirt. Knives flinches. His brother’s hand is cold.

“Your skin is so soft,” Vash tells him. His lips are brushing against Knives’s ear and Knives can feel the warmth of his brother’s breath.

Knives has given up all hopes of paying attention to the movie. His brother’s hand is exploring all around his stomach and chest. Then Vash’s finger slips into the waistband of his jeans.

“You’re doing great,” Vash tells him. He slides the finger from one hip to the other. “Just like that.”

Knives is trembling. This is way more than he signed up for. Then Vash’s hand rests on his belt and he freezes.

“Don’t worry,” Vash purrs. “You’re doing fine.”

How Vash manages to unbuckle his belt and unbutton his jeans with one hand Knives doesn’t know but suddenly his brothers fingers are slipping into his boxers. One of them drags along his folds.

“You’re so wet,” Vash breathes. “You must have wanted this.”

Knives forces his eyes shut tight. Sure, he’d had thoughts like this before, but the reality is different. It’s amazing but also terrifying.

Vash forces a finger inside Knives’s cunt and Knives’s eyes fly open and he gasps.

“Not too loud,” Vash whispers. “We’re still in public, remember?”

Knives bites his lip. Right, this is practice for a date. He tries to keep his composure as his brother slowly fingers him.

“God you’re tight,” Vash tells him. “Try to relax.”

Knives tries with very little success. Vash is mouthing along his neck now and it feels like every cell in his body is on fire. Vash manages to get a second finger inside him and the stretch of it is strange but not unpleasant.

“You’re doing so good,” Vash tells him. He’s got his hips tilted towards Knives and Knives can feel his brother’s erection pressing into his hip.

“Vash,” Knives whines.

“Shh,” Vash coos. “I’ve got you.”

Vash pulls his fingers from Knives’s cunt and instead rubs them against his clit. Knives can feel that his brother’s fingers are soaked.

“You like that, right?” Vash asks. Knives whimpers and nods.

Knives doesn’t know how long he’s going to last. Vash really knows what he’s doing with his fingers. It’s miles ahead of anything Knives has tried on his own.

“Vash, I…” Knives tries to get out.

“It’s okay, Nai,” Vash breathes. “Go ahead.”

Knives cries out as he cums. He pants as his brother works him through it. Finally, Knives sags into the couch as the rest of the world slowly falls back into place. The movie is still on but he has no idea what’s happened in the past half hour. He can still feel his brother pressed against him.

“That was great,” Vash says, casually pulling his hand out of his brother’s boxers and wiping his slick fingers on his jeans. Knives stares, eyes unfocused, up at the ceiling. “I’m hungry. Let’s order pizza.”

Notes:

It doesn't actually matter what movie they're watching but the image of Knives crying and getting fingered while Love Actually plays in the background is really funny to me.

This was a very good start for 2025! I hope to write a lot more this year. If you want to hear more from me, I'm on Twitter at @obscenitywitch and Tumblr at witchofobscenity.tumblr.com. Or if you want to reach out to me! I would love to hear from you. I love talking about trigun and plantcest. I promise I'm a fun amount of crazy. They've only locked me up once <3
