--------------------------------------------------------------
It was another typical afternoon in the Literature Club. Monika was sipping tea like an elegant queen, Sayori was attempting to balance a cookie on her nose, Yuri was hiding behind her book, and the main character (whom we will call MC) was reading his own book. But of course, something had to go terribly wrong - or, rather, terribly hilarious.
It all started with a playful conversation that eventually led to Sayori playfully teasing Natsuki at one point, which in turn went on to result in everyone else teasing her as well.
“Ugh! You guys are the worst!” Natsuki finally huffed, crossing her arms in defiance. “I’m not short, okay?! Stop teasing me!”
MC smirked. “We never said you were short.”
“You IMPLIED it!” she shot back, pouting furiously. “You always do!”
Monika chuckled. “Well, Natsuki, you are kind of…”
“Don’t say it!”
“…adorably compact.”
“THAT’S JUST A FANCY WAY OF SAYING SHORT!”
Sayori, giggling uncontrollably, suddenly clapped her hands together. “Hey, I have an idea! What if we make it up to Natsuki with…a fun little game?”
Natsuki narrowed her eyes. “What kind of game?”
Sayori grinned mischievously. “A spanking contest!”
Dead silence.
“…What?” Natsuki blinked, looking at Sayori as if she had just suggested they start a potato-worshiping cult.
Monika tilted her head. “Sayori, what exactly do you mean?”
Sayori beamed. “We all give Natsuki a friendly little smack on the behind as a way of showing our appreciation!”
“W-What?! That doesn’t make any sense!” Natsuki sputtered, her face turning as pink as her hair. “How is that showing appreciation?!”
“Well, um…” Sayori walked up to Natsuki. “In a way, it’s like a fun bonding exercise!”
“That’s the dumbest—” Natsuki started, but before she could finish, Sayori, in a burst of energy, playfully swatted her butt.
SMACK!
“GYAH!” Natsuki jumped like a startled cat, hands flying to her rear. “SAYORI! WHAT THE HELL?!”
Sayori giggled uncontrollably. “See? It’s fun!”
MC, now starting to get invested in the absolute absurdity of the situation, shrugged and smirked. “Well, if Sayori says so…” He reared back his hand and gave Natsuki’s butt a decisive swat.
SMACK!
“GYAAAH! YOU TOO, MC?!”
Yuri, now blushing furiously and looking anywhere but at Natsuki, fidgeted with her fingers. “W-Well… i-if it’s part of the activity…” With great hesitation, she reached out and gave Natsuki’s butt the softest, most delicate pat possible.
gentle tap
Natsuki turned to glare at her. “That wasn’t even a real smack, Yuri.”
Yuri turned redder. “I-I’m not used to…physical activities of this nature…”
Monika, meanwhile, smirked and walked up to Natsuki. “Alright, if we’re all doing this…” With a confident swing, she delivered a perfectly executed swat to Natsuki’s butt.
SMACK!
“EEEEEP!” Natsuki yelped, jumping about three feet in the air. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU?!”
The club room erupted into laughter, with Sayori rolling on the floor, MC doubling over with laughter, and Yuri awkwardly hiding behind her book once more.
Natsuki, now thoroughly flustered, stomped her foot. “You guys are the WORST! I swear, if any of you ever try this again, I’ll—”
“You’ll what?” said MC, smirking. “Try to threaten us but only come off as cute in the process?”
Natsuki shot him a death glare. But of course, he was not fazed by it at all. In fact, sure enough, instead of intimidating, they all found it kind of cute, thereby proving his point.
Sayori was on the verge of tears from laughing too hard. “Aw, Natsuki, don’t be mad! You’re just so spankable!”
“I AM NOT!”
“Spankably compact?” MC offered.
“STOP MAKING UP WORDS!”
With that, Natsuki stormed out of the room, her face still red and her hands protectively covering her butt.
“Butthurt much?” Sayori teasingly called out after her, causing everyone to laugh again.
Monika sighed, shaking her head. “Well, that certainly was…an interesting team-building exercise.”
Sayori nodded. “I think we all learned something important today.”
MC grinned. “Yeah. Never let Sayori suggest club activities.”
They all laughed again. But just as the laughter began to die down, the club room door suddenly burst open. Natsuki stomped back in, arms crossed, her face still burning red. "Alright, that's it! If you guys think it's so funny, let's see how YOU like it!"
Before anyone could react, she turned to Sayori first. "Since you started this nonsense-"
SMACK!
Sayori yelped, stumbling forward and clutching her butt with a dramatic gasp. "AHH! Natsuki, nooo!" she whined, rubbing her butt while the rest of the club burst into fresh laughter.
"Hah! How do you like that?!" Natsuki declared, hands on her hips. "Not so fun when you're the one getting smacked, huh?"
Sayori, ever the cheerful instigator, grinned. "Well, actually… it was kinda fun!" She giggled and stuck her tongue out.
Natsuki groaned. "UGH! You're impossible!"
Before she could march back to her seat, though, Monika spoke up with a smirk. "Alright, alright. I think we’ve all had enough... physical bonding for one day."
MC chuckled. "Yeah, wouldn’t want the Literature Club to turn into the ‘Spanking Club.’"
Yuri, still hiding behind her book, mumbled, "I-I don’t believe that would be an appropriate club activity…"
Natsuki huffed, plopping into her chair and crossing her arms. "Good! Because if any of you ever try that again, I’ll—"
"We know, we know!" MC said with a grin. "You'll murder us in our sleep."
"Darn right I will!"
MC smirked and snorted.
“I WILL!”
MC turned to Sayori. “It’s so cute when she tries,” he said to her. Sayori chuckled and nodded in agreement.
The club settled down and continued their normal activities. As the end of the club meeting drew near, Sayori stretched with a yawn. "Welp, I think that was a successful club meeting! We laughed, we bonded, and we learned something important."
"And what exactly did we learn?" Monika asked with amusement.
Sayori smiled brightly. "That Natsuki is actually kinda soft and squishy!"
"SAYORI!"
With another round of laughter and a few more playful protests from Natsuki, the club meeting wrapped up for the day. As they all packed up to leave, Natsuki couldn’t help but glance around at her friends. With a sigh, she rolled her eyes and shook her head, but she was smiling.
“You guys are the worst,” she said. “And the best.”
And as they all walked out of the club room, Natsuki made a mental note: never, under any circumstances, let Sayori come up with club activities ever again.
