Chapter Text
After the war, everything seemed to fall into place—at least, for everyone else. The Wizarding World was rebuilding, students returned to Hogwarts to finish their education, and Harry finally felt like he could breathe. But beneath the surface, life was not as simple as he had hoped.
He had thought Ginny would want the same things he did: a family, stability, something normal after years of chaos. But when they talked about the future, it became clear she had other dreams. She wanted to play Quidditch professionally, to travel, to see the world before settling down.
Harry, on the other hand, wanted something different. He had spent his entire childhood without a real home, without a real family. He didn’t want to wait years to have that, and Ginny wasn’t ready to give it to him. They parted on good terms, but it left a hollow feeling in his chest.
Then came the issue of the pure-blood families. With Voldemort gone, there were murmurs of unrest, whispers of those who still clung to the old ways. The Ministry was stretched thin, and some pure-bloods resented the changes taking place. Lucius Malfoy, no longer under Voldemort’s command, found himself in a precarious position—either he controlled those who wished to rebel, or the Ministry would come down hard on his family.
It was Draco who approached Harry with an unexpected proposal.
“We get married,” Draco said, as if it were the simplest thing in the world. “You’re the Savior of the Wizarding World, and I’m still a Malfoy. If we unite our names, it will calm those who are still resisting change. My father will take care of the ones who remain stubborn, and you get the political advantage of keeping the peace.”
Harry had stared at him, waiting for the punchline. When it didn’t come, he scoffed. “You want us to get married to stop a political uprising?”
Draco shrugged. “You need a family. I need to keep mine safe. It’s mutually beneficial.”
It was ridiculous. Completely insane.
“Aren’t you a bird Malfoy?” Harry speaks truth with a mocking tone.
“I’m but l, ah I’am” Draco face turned red “I know you want to build a family, you wanted to have children and i can give you those, and also I’m still pure” Draco whisper the last sentence.
Harry don’t care about purity, he doesn’t have much sex at school but don’t mean he never does it. It’s just he never would imagine doing it with a boy and even worse with Draco Malfoy.
But it made sense.
If he married Draco, it would send a message: the war was over, the divide between bloodlines no longer mattered, and the Malfoys were no longer a threat. It would also give Harry the stability he wanted—a home, a family, something real, even if the marriage itself was just an agreement.
So, against all odds, Harry agreed. He don’t even ask Ron or even Hermione opinion.
Their wedding was a quiet affair, held at Malfoy Manor with only a few trusted friends and Ministry officials present. The press went wild, but the intended effect was immediate—pure-blood families hesitated before speaking against the new order, and the Ministry saw it as a symbol of unity.
Harry choose Arthur Weasley as their wedding officiants and Ron as his best man. With only Molly and Hermione as his guest.
And for Draco it’s just his parents.
On their wedding day Draco look stunning with pure white robe, making him look ethereal like an angel.
And that make Harry can’t take his eyes off of the beautiful blonde.
When both of them read the vows Harry could see a tear rolled down Draco flush cheek. But he ignored it. All this happened because of Draco anyway it’s too late if the blonde wants to regret it now. Harry claim Draco lips after Arthur says they’re officially husbands now.
He can feel Draco lips trembling but it’s just exite him more.
Harry give the blond not too intense kiss but Draco pink soft lips got already got reddish with such a kisses Harry can’t wait to see the blond in their wedding bed.
