Work Text:

The rusted door stood alone in the middle of the forest, attached to nothing but the earth beneath it, It had no handle, no hinges, and yet, as Leo reached out, it slowly creaked open.

Beyond the door, there was no forest. No trees, no birdsong, no sky. Just darkness. An impossible endless blackness that seemed to hum with energy. The air around it shimmered as if the space beyond was shifting, alive.

Leo took a step closer, heart hammering in his chest. A whisper - soft, almost musical - drifted through the trees.

"Come in."

He looked up his eyes widening, a large being floated in the vast nothingness. He peered up at her, taking in her appearance. A goddess was suspended in the air, her hair curling round her ears and her dress billowing out behind her.

"I've been waiting for you my dear~"

Leo's heart stuttered as he gazed up at the beautiful divine being in-front of him. His gaze travelled across her body as he stepped ever closer.

Soon he was infront of her, his heart hammering as he tried to look anywhere but her.

"Are you frightened, little one?"

A light powder dusted his cheeks and he gaped dumbly, he tried to stop his mind racing but could do nothing to slow its pace.

Her hand brushes his cheek and his mind ground to a halt. As he gazed at her, she laughed, her voice light and breathy, Leo was enraptured by her and her beauty.

Little did he know, he was never seeing daylight again. The goddess' eyes flashed while he was distracted, blade glinting, she pounced.

Silence.

Notes:

Thanks so much for reading it!

I got the idea to do this from my friend @A_Seagull2
This was from a club at my school called Plot Twist!
