Chapter 1: Drawing your curves.

Chapter Text

Monday. 7:00 am.

Vi felt like she was dying. She hated Mondays and hated getting up early. On Sundays, she trained until late, and the next day she always woke up feeling like she'd been hit by a train. Every muscle ached, and she was exhausted, but she had to get to class. She didn't have many months left to finish the classes, and now she couldn't miss even an hour.

She got out of bed reluctantly and picked out clothes from her closet almost without looking while groaning. Vi slept naked, wearing only boxers, even though it was the middle of winter; she didn't care.

It was February, and temperatures had been low the last few weeks, so Violet made herself a piping hot coffee while she got the last few things ready for class. Today she had three hours of anatomy, and it was one of her favorite subjects; she wasn't bad at it and really enjoyed it.

When she finished her coffee, she got dressed and combed her hair (sort of). Today she was wearing jeans, white shirt, and a dark polo.

Violet lived alone. It was a small apartment, but she'd managed to become independent thanks to working in a cafe for several years. She worked Saturdays and some weekday afternoons. She lived well with that, and she could also go to class without any problems, so everything was going well for her for now.

When she finished, she left home. She'd bought a small car a few months earlier, and she still looked forward to driving to class every morning, even if it was only fifteen minutes. As soon as she arrived, she parked in the center's parking lot and met up with some friends at the entrance, who hurried in for the first class.

"Are you excited for the next hour?" one of her friends asked as she lay down on her desk, looking into her eyes.

“Yeah, you know it’s my favorite subject,” she replied.

“Nonsense, what she likes is seeing naked women” another of her friends spoke from behind her, laughing, and Vi turned around.

“Please be quiet, you have no idea,” she started laughing too, and everyone sat down when the teacher came in.

Anatomy was the second period, so Vi still had to wait, and during that period, she tried to pay attention because “Color Theory” was also important. (Or so she had to think.)

Honestly… she didn’t pay much attention and “took advantage” of that class to think about who would be modeling today. She usually tried to guess; she liked having very different people come because it helped her improve her drawing style and help her learn more.

By the time she snapped out of the thousands of thoughts running through her head, the class was over, and everyone had gotten up to go to the Anatomy classroom. She stopped by first to grab a coffee, as usual, and sat between two of her friends when she arrived. She left the coffee next to the paintbrushes and stretched, waiting.

A few minutes passed, and everyone was staring at their phones, including her, so she didn't notice the woman who entered until she heard everyone fall silent. She raised her head, and as soon as she saw her, her eyes widened and she froze. She was tall, had dark blue hair, and even though she was wearing a white lab coat, she knew perfectly well that she would stop breathing when she saw her naked.

My God, she thought.

She felt nervous, but she followed her with eyes until she stood on a platform in the middle of the classroom and took a deep breath. The woman sat down in a chair and dropped her lab coat, leaving her completely naked.

Violet felt her heart begin to pound in her chest and tried to act normal because her two friends were already looking at her out of the corner of her eye.

She was beautiful, and her curves were perfect. Her skin looked soft, and her breasts... well, her breasts gave her chills. In a good way.

She had to concentrate; that woman had already assumed her position, and she had to start painting her, but she froze as soon as she picked up the pencil to make the first sketch. She felt like she couldn't look at her, and at the same time, she wanted to do it so badly.

She gripped the pencil tighter, and her eyes had to return to her to know how to begin drawing her.

And she did.

As soon as her eyes returned to that naked body, she met her eyes too. She was looking at her, and Violet choked on her own saliva.

Why was she looking at her? There were so many people in that classroom, and it had to be her.

Violet couldn't lift her gaze again. She was afraid of meeting that woman's eyes and being noticed. She didn't want to die of embarrassment, so she "improvised" and began to draw a few random lines.

She didn't realize it, but when she saw people cleaning up, she looked at the clock on the wall, and two hours had already passed. Violet stared at her canvas. She hadn't done anything; she had spent hours drawing lines and erasing them, over and over again.

She was in shock; it was the first time something like this had happened to her, and now she would have to draw it at home, remembering it, to hand in to the teacher. Although, of course, she couldn't do that either because she hadn't looked at it again out of embarrassment.

She didn't know what to do and hurriedly began to clean up because the model put on her white coat and walked barefoot to look at the drawings the students had made of her. Luckily, Violet left before she could see her "drawing," and the blue-haired girl noticed. She seemed to be running away, and became curious.

Her friends found her during recess a few minutes later and sat next to her on one of the benches in the entrance hall.

"You liked her" said Mary, one of her friends.

"If you say one more word, I swear I'll kill you" was her response before sighing and running her hands through her hair.

"I noticed, you couldn't even look at her to draw" she spoke again, ignoring Vi's comment.

"Leave her" her other friend said while smoking a cigarette, and silence fell.

"Okay, I liked her. Yes. I've never seen a more beautiful woman in my life, I swear. So what?"

When Violet stood up while saying that, her friends looked at each other smiling.

"Say something to her, ask for Instagram" said Kat, the other friend.

"Yes, Kat, that's a very good idea." Vi adopted a funny pose and created an ironic scene. "Hi, my name is Violet. I saw you naked with your tits pointed at me and nothing, I liked you, can you give me your number and we can get coffee?"

Vi raised her voice as she spoke while pacing.

“Are you guys crazy? Seriously.”

“Well, I think it’s great” Mary said.

“Please, no wonder you don’t have a partner yet.” Vi sat back down between the two of them, sighing again.

She didn’t notice, but the woman walked by in the distance, already dressed to go home, and her friends noticed. They looked at each other and were about to act, but it wasn’t necessary. The blue-haired girl looked around and saw Vi in the distance. For some reason, she stopped for a few seconds and started walking toward the three of them.

Violet didn’t notice; she was looking at her feet while trying to calm down, and her friends stood up before the woman could get close. They disappeared, leaving them alone.

“Excuse me”

Vi raised her head, not knowing who it was, and when she saw her, she fell silent. She looked around to see her friends had disappeared, then looked back, staring her up and down.

When she didn't get a response, she crossed her arms and cleared her throat.

"I saw you in class and you ran off. I like seeing all the drawings people make of me. Could I see it?" She gave her a genuine smile, and Violet felt like she was going to melt. She stood up and swallowed, trying to act normal.

Vi had to get out of that situation any way she could, but she didn't want to lie to her either.

"Oh, yeah... I didn't have a good day. It's a quick, ugly sketch." She struggled to look at her, and the blue-haired girl surely noticed.

"I noticed. You only looked at me once. I doubt you could remember everything" she said, laughing, and Violet fell silent again. That girl was beautiful.

Vi looked around nervously, and her opponent noticed and didn't want to embarrass her, so she was about to say goodbye but after gathering strength from who knows where, Violet was able to speak.

"My name's Vi, Violet. Could you... could you give me your number? I'd like to finish that drawing, and I doubt you'll be back here, so..."

The opponent liked that because she smiled and immediately took out her cell phone.

"Done" Vi nodded, and after saying that, she looked at her. "I'll send you a message"

"Sure." Violet nodded quickly, and they both said goodbyes.

She stood there feeling like she had missed something.

"Her name! Shit..." she groaned, and after running her hand over her face, she walked to the next class, proud of having been able to do something.

She felt stupid, but for the rest of that morning she thought about that girl, racking her brains over how she acted and asked for her number. She didn't want to seem desperate, but all this meant they'd have to see each other more to finish that drawing, right?

Was she going to see that girl naked just to finish a drawing?

Just thinking about it made her ears burn, and she shook her head, scratching the back of her neck, knowing something like this was going to be quite difficult.

The rest of the morning was pretty boring, and before leaving, she said goodbye to her friends. She didn't tell them anything about what had happened. If she told them she gave her phone to that woman, they'd probably have her head screwed on her, and she didn't need that right now. She got into her car and leaned on the steering wheel, looking at her phone on her thighs.

She hoped that maybe, just maybe, the screen would light up with a... message, but no. She shook her head quickly and figured she'd do it later; she couldn't obsess over it. She started the car and went home. She wasn't working today, so she took the opportunity to take a hot shower and make herself some lunch.

She felt like an idiot, but she'd been looking at her phone all day, waiting for that message, and for a moment, she thought that the girl had thought better of it and wouldn't talk to her. That's how she spent the rest of the afternoon and evening. She did some exercise at home, watched a movie, and made a nice dinner that night.

She was about to go to her room. She'd already done the dishes and left the living room clean and tidy, but her phone rang after not doing it all day, and she ran out to jump on the couch for it. She looked at the screen and her face turned red in a matter of seconds.

Hi, it's today's girl. The one you saw naked

Violet read that message over and over again, thinking of a thousand possible responses and also trying to calm down.

Hey, yes, I think I remember you was what she replied and lay down on her back on the couch. The lights were already off, and the phone was illuminating her entire face.

I'm glad, because you only looked at me for a few seconds. What you saw must have been good to remember

Vi felt butterflies in her stomach. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but that woman... she seemed to be throwing chips at her.

She laughed and answered again.

I don't even know your name

She was dying to know, and looked at the screen while shifting her leg uneasily.

True, so sorry. My name is Caitlyn

Caitlyn Caitlyn Caitlyn. It was perfect; her name was beautiful.

She took a breath and thought about what to say so she could have a longer conversation.

Nice to meet you, Caitlyn. Will I see you again?

That way, she could resolve her doubts, and if she could see her again, she might have the chance to maybe... finish that sketch.

Caitlyn seemed to take a while to reply, as if she were writing and deleting the message over and over again.

It was my idea. I guess you need to finish that drawing

Violet smiled and sat up on the couch, replying.

Yes, it's important for my note (Not entirely.)

Caitlyn laughed in the chat, and Vi took the opportunity to add her to her contacts. "Cupcake" had seemed quite sweet, and she thought about it quickly.

The two continued talking for a few more minutes, some nonsense before meeting up for coffee. Since Vi worked at a cafe some afternoons, she told her where it was so she could meet up after her shift and get something to eat somewhere else.

They stopped talking, and Violet finished getting ready for bed. She was nervous and felt strange flutters in her stomach. She didn't know what all this was about, at least she didn't know about Caitlyn. She knew it herself; it was obvious she was attracted to that woman. The problem was that maybe she didn't even like women...

While she thought and thought about that surreal day, she ended up falling asleep, but not before undressing as she always did.

Thursday. 6:00 PM

Days passed, and Vi wasn't able to talk to her again because she didn't receive any messages either. She was going to see her anyway, but she couldn't help feeling down.

She'd had several exams these past few days, and she needed a mental distraction, which work gave her. She liked this little job, and she managed to relax there if she felt even more down.

Today she had arranged to meet Caitlyn and was already walking to the bar where they had arranged to meet. She was about to pick up and look at her phone to at least tell her she was coming, but she saw the blue hair in the distance and smiled, putting her hands in the pockets again.

“Hey…” Vi greeted and immediately saw Caitlyn’s smile.

“Vi, hello.” Violet sat down in front of her and set aside the tote bag she carried on work days.

“Have you been here long?”

“I just got here” said the blue-haired woman, watching the waiter approach.

Violet ordered a coffee and Caitlyn a tea.

“What have you been doing these days?” Vi asked, trying to get things started. She was nervous and needed to relax.

“Work. I went to another school as a model for sketches, but the rest of the days I've been working on my own photos.” Vi looked at her, attentive to every detail of her face, admiring her.

“Are you a model?”

“Yes, although I also studied art. It's not that I didn't like it, but I dropped out halfway through because what I do now was better and I liked it more.”

Vi was surprised, although she wasn't really surprised. Caitlyn was beautiful, and she'd also seen her body and how good she was at posing. Plus, she had such a striking figure that it made you want to draw her all the time.

“You're a professional, and I'm still studying. What a shame. Thousands of people must have drawn you.”

“I'm interested in seeing how people draw me, and I couldn't see anything of you. Why did you run away?” Caitlyn asked, smiling as she took a few sips of her tea as soon as it was placed on the table.

Violet laughed, scratching the back of her neck, and looked at her.

“I was in a hurry, don't take it personally. It wasn't my best day,” she lied. Because telling her she couldn't even look at her because she found so attractive wasn't the best thing to do.

“Don't worry, but I'd like you to continue the drawing.”

Violet looked at her more intently, and they both remained like that for a few seconds, in silence. Caitlyn seemed to be waiting for Vi to understand, and Vi was processing what Caitlyn was trying to explain.

“I told you, I don't remember you…”

“Did seeing me naked make you nervous?” the blue-haired woman whispered, causing Violet to open her eyes and become nervous, although she tried not to let it show.

She didn't like looking foolish, and this time she wanted to be honest.

"It wasn't nerves"

She stopped there, and Caitlyn knew she was going to say something else, so she didn't interrupt her either.

"I liked it"

She noticed the smile on the other and was able to relax; she was afraid of a bad reaction.

"So why do I get the feeling you don't want to see me again?" She said it with that accent of hers, and Violet's whole body trembled.

"I want to"

They looked into each other's eyes again and both started laughing.

"Okay, call me when you have a free day."

"Done"

The two had plenty of time to get to know each other that afternoon. They actually talked about hobbies, food, favorite pastimes, and such, nothing personal, but they both realized that time flew by, and they had loved talking and laughing so much.

It got dark quickly, and neither of them was in a hurry, but Caitlyn seemed to have received an important call because she left right away, saying a quick goodbye to Violet. She didn't give it much thought and returned home thinking about her and how strange it felt to have known her for two days and feel this way.

When she got home, she took a shower and packed her bag for class. Tomorrow was Friday, and she was looking forward to resting. Besides, now she really wanted to tell her friends about Caitlyn.

Friday 7:00 am

Possibly the most boring day of her life, she wasn't able to talk to Cait either, not out of embarrassment; she didn't really know what to say, but she would have liked to ask if she was okay. She'd seen how distressed she was when she had to leave yesterday.

Her friends saw Vi lying at the table, playing with a paper cup filled with coffee, and the two approached her.

"Girl, is everything okay?" The two grabbed two chairs to sit across from her table.

"I gave that girl my phone number."

Mary and Kat looked at each other in surprise, but they didn't understand how such good news could have Violet so down.

"So..." Kat said, waiting for her to say more.

"We saw each other and... talked about drawing her again."

Her two friends were in shock, blinking and putting on poker faces.

"Sorry, Vi, I just don't understand why you have that face" Mary commented.

"She ran out that day. Someone called her, and she seemed uneasy. I haven't been able to ask her if she's okay" Vi clarified, looking at them both and leaning on the table with her arms.

"Ask her then"

"Kat, I don't want to pry into her private life" Vi said, somewhat annoyed.

"You're just worrying. I would"

...

The longest six hours... Finally, Friday was over, and now she was free. She got home and made the most delicious meal she had while listening to music to distract herself a little. She didn't want to admit it, but she really couldn't stop thinking about Caitlyn.

In the end, she managed to clear her head, but it's true that she checked the phone a few times, hoping for a text. It was getting late, and she was watching a movie, wasn't paying attention, with all the lights off. She opened Caitlyn's chat and decided to talk to her, but before sending the message, Violet stared at the screen and decided to delete it and call her directly.

She brought the phone to her ear and the first three beeps sounded. She was about to hang up, but Caitlyn's voice finally came through.

"Yeah? Violet"

Vi frowned; she seemed to be crying, and she sounded sad.

"Cait, are you okay?"

She listened to her sobbing quietly and let her stay for a few seconds in case she needed it.

"Can we see now?" the blue-haired girl asked.

Vi opened her eyes and looked at the clock on the wall: 12:30 at night.

“Come home” the pink-haired girl replied without thinking. “Send me your location, I'll come get you”

Caitlyn responded, and she immediately got up from her couch to quickly get dressed, grab her car keys, and leave the house.
