Home is wherever you are.

Summary:

Naruto collapsed beside him again, breathless with laughter. “You know… I think I dreamed of this once.”
Sasuke glanced at him. “What, fighting your kids with bedding?”
“No. This. Us. Them. A house that feels full.”
Sasuke didn’t say anything for a long moment, just rested a hand on Naruto’s chest, feeling his heartbeat.
“We’ve got everything we need,” he said quietly.
Naruto leaned up and kissed him, soft and quick. “Yeah. We really do.”

Chapter 1: The first great blanket war!

Chapter Text

The Uchiha-Uzumaki household had a Sunday tradition: Lazy Day.

No training. No missions. Just pajamas, snacks, and whatever goofy chaos happened with four kids, one shadow clone, and one grumpy-but-secretly-soft ex-avenger. (Sasuke)

Boruto had claimed the living room TV for video games. Himawari was curled in the giant blanket nest she’d made with Sasuke’s help (he insisted it be structurally sound—“if we’re doing this, we’re doing it right”). Kawaki and Sarada were off in the kitchen, mock-arguing about who made better hot chocolate.

And in the middle of it all, Naruto lay spread-eagled on the floor, a half-asleep smile on his face, head pillowed on Sasuke’s lap.
“I still can’t believe we’re doing this,” Sasuke muttered, brushing Naruto’s hair out of his eyes.
“What, being happy?” Naruto cracked an eye open, grinning.
Sasuke gave him a look. “No. Letting them build blanket forts in the living room like feral cats.”
“Hey, you helped.”
“I reinforced it. That’s different.”
Naruto snorted. “You engineered it. Himawari called you ‘architect-san.’”
Sasuke’s mouth twitched. “...That was kind of cute.”

Suddenly, a couch pillow smacked Naruto in the face.
“AMBUSH!” Boruto yelled, vaulting over the coffee table with Himawari and Kawaki in tow.
The living room erupted into chaos. Pillows flew. Blankets were weaponized. Naruto rolled away dramatically, clutching his heart. “TRAITORS! My own children!”
“Operation Dethrone Dad is a success!” Sarada crowed, armed with a cushion.
Sasuke calmly got to his feet, dusted himself off, and—with all the cool menace of a ninja lord—picked up a throw pillow. “You three have no idea what you’ve started.”
Five minutes later, Boruto was tangled in a blanket trap, Kawaki was being held upside down by a shadow clone, and Himawari had declared Sasuke the “Pillow King.”

A peaceful, lovely night between a loving family.
