You really are real, aren’t you? It feels like a dream. I’ve caught all sorts of moths, and beetles, any bug you’ve seen around here, I probably have on my wall. But I’ve never seen a real, live fairy before…

Ugh, fine, there we go. I guess I can’t blame you. It’s normal to be scared, I know I’m a lot bigger than you.
Now, as I was saying. I’m not gonna pin you up or anything, you’re much too rare for that. And like, you can talk, it’d just feel wrong.
Will you let me finish? Are fairies always so impatient? I’m trying to explain something important.
So basically, I’m going to keep you as a pet instead, okay? Obviously, I still need you for my collection, but I’ll keep you safe. You can just tell me what you need to eat, what would make you happy in your home, and I’ll get it for you!

Your old home? I don’t know if that’s a good idea. I mean, getting you back here was tricky enough. How do I know you wouldn’t run away the moment I took you out? Besides, if there’s one thing I know about fairies, it’s that you’re tricky. Which really, I respect, but we’re going to have to build some trust first, you know? Let’s start with food then. You must be hungry, right? I could even make you something, if you want. Have you even had cooked food before?
