Summary:

Hermione Granger hadn’t planned on sharing a room with Pansy Parkinson during her eighth year at Hogwarts. She also hadn’t planned on blushing every time the former Slytherin smirked at her from across the room… or, worse, getting distracted from her studies because of a single look.

But the real trouble begins in the library, when a condescending tutor sparks the fire of Hermione’s pride… and Parkinson’s attention. What follows is shared tutoring sessions, lingering glances, and a whirlwind of emotions Hermione doesn’t quite know how to handle, let alone admit to.

Chapter 1: Author’s Note – Not a Real Chapter (Yet!)

Hey! Just a quick note to say I’m setting this fic up because I couldn’t wait any longer to have it ready, even if I haven’t published the actual chapters yet.

The good news? I already have several chapters written. The bad news? I’m still sick, which has slowed things down a bit.
To make things worse (or cooler, depending on how you see it), I played in my soccer match last Saturday while still sick.
Did it make my symptoms worse? Absolutely.
Did we win anyway? HELL YES.

I’ve also been swamped with uni work, but I promise I’ll be uploading the first real chapter very soon, probably tomorrow or Sunday. Thanks for your patience, and I hope you’re as excited for this ship as I am
