This is an oc x canon in Monster High, and the second time I wrote in ao3, so I may be rusty
About one of my 6 Ocs.
Name: Salvador “Wulfric” Mysteryo
Age:17
Nationality: Filipino
Gender: Male
Monster Type: Sarut (This is a weredog in the Philippines, not a werewolf, please don’t get it mixed up. More explanation at the bottom.)
He was adopted by his uncle, who is also a sarut, around when he was 8, and then soon his uncle got married to a mangkukulam (A type of witch in the Philippines) who has two adopted daughters (Also ocs). Soon enough, the couple had twins who were hybrids.
His personality is that he is a very intelligent, even if he’s sarut in his peers who sometimes look down at that monster kind, but he can be quite grumpy and reserved to those who judge him or outside to him, so he is quite scary to other monsters in his time of school in his home country as he has a scar on his nose which made him more intimidating in addition to him being stern. He is basically one of the “smart kids” in his school and gets pretty annoyed by his dumb classmates. He can be judgmental at times. *(Fyp, not every smart kid is like this in the Philippines)
But once you get to know-know him better, He is a calm and responsible manster, most of the time. He still gets annoyed, grumpy, and judges, but more in a toned-down version. He deeply cares about his family and those who are close to him, overprotective to the point that he would consider getting hurt to keep them safe or getting into fights if necessary, which he gets from his very early childhood.
He has two adopted sisters who are almost the same age as he is, one a bakunawa and one a sirena. They bicker, steal food from each other, and argue, but they do get along well as they only have each other, but sometimes overprotective with them. Something that the two respect yet quarrel about. He won’t admit that he loves them both, but his sisters know. Mostly acting like a older brother and making decisions around his siblings.
Following that are the twins, who are the hybrids, and they treats them like his own siblings. His adoptive parents are the mangkukulam and his sarut uncle. His mother's relationship is great, though sometimes annoyed with her bickering, her motherly love helps him through his time. His uncle and father figure, a bit rocky, but both saruts made it work.
He also has a pack of saruts, mostly young saruts up to around Wulfric’s age in the barangay, who follow him like a leader because he helped them in their situations, and are very loyal to him. Wulfric is a great leader with his overall smarts, and he was good at negotiating with other groups like his. He wouldn’t let anyone get hurt or get children into fights. He is different with kids, just treating them well and being a big brother to them, especially in the environment they live in.
He enjoys making all kinds of robotic or mechanical things, and wants to pursue either of the two engineering fields.
I ship him with Skelita because I don’t know how to say, but sunshine x grumpy (not really if you can say that), but with my interpretation with the knowledge of the characters, sorry folks, but also would possibly bond over their shared similarities.
