Do we want a canon story or an AU. Personally, I'm keen for an AU. But I'm open to preferences

Mira could handle almost anything, which was pissing her off.
Because until 30 minutes ago, she would’ve said in all confidence she could handle anything. WOULD’VE.
She had always prided herself on being up for anything and even-tempered enough to handle whatever. HAD.
But they wouldn’t stop LOOKING AT HER.
And those eyes, those fucking eyes.
Those eyes on her were something new, and more importantly they were something dangerous.
They looked at her like she was to be treasured, adored,.. Loved?
Not to be resented, not to be wary of, not even to be guard near.
It shook her. HER!
Which was impossible because NOTHING SHOOK HER!!
So why the hell...
And on that note, what the hell?!
Because what was wrong with her?
She should be ignoring them, easily. Like they were nothing, because that's what they should be for her. So, why the hell...
did she want more than just their eyes on her?
And why the hell, when they leaned in close, did she want to make it closer?
