'..The blood spilled across the room, its sickening crimson burning holes through his eyes. With a gag, the man crouched down, retching up nothing but pure filth and sin. The reflections of his body and ages, mistakes and everything in between crowded his figure, and the man was stuck in a never-ending nightmare of nothing but himself and his mind. Nothing seemed to be real, as crimson red pooled at his feet, staining his hands a disgusting shade he-'

"Ah- uh.. Oh dear... Karl, come now. Oh, what have you done now.." With a groan and a stretch, Poe got up from his chair. After stumbling a bit- he had left his chair, thank you, ... two days ago-
He approached the raccoon, now covered in dirt, and picked him up gently.
"Now, Karl, we cannot be making a ruckus anymore. Our escape simply must be flawless! Oh, if I truly think it, that seems to be a wonderful novel.... Oh- nevermind me, Karl. Now, im almost done with our book. And don't worry, Karl, it's not the one I was just working on, ...Oh dear.. I must truly be going mad now, aren't I? Well, I suppose its for the better, I won't be talking to anyone anymore.. Ah, enough with my ramblings. Come, Karl, let's get a move on."
Poe rambled, a habit that wouldn't matter for much longer.
After cleaning up the fallen flower pot, Poe walked back to his desk, eyeing a specific book. "Alright, now see, Karl, I have one paragraph left! Now hopefully, this will be the last time I use this dreadful ability, but it's finally put to good use, isn't it!"
' The man wondered back to his past, remembering what it was like to live like a ghost, nothing more than a speck on the ceiling. Now, Edgar Allan Poe looked towards where he was now. A paradise of his own creation, one he will never have to leave. With his only companion being his pet, he looks towards the sun and smiles truly for the first time.' With a sigh, Edgar Allan Poe activated his ability, holding Karl tightly, they disappeared into a flash of light.

"CRAP- RANPO. Ranpo, let me go, now." Yelled Yosano, with an obvious frown deepening by the second.
"Fine, fine. But you really have to hurry! The place I found is gonna be demolished! And I did NOT go through all that effort convincing that American guy to let us even see it." Replied the boy in question, obviously not caring about what Yosano was saying.
"Fine, but! I'm going to make sure you do your paoer work when we get back home."
-
When Yosano and Ranpo arrived to their destination- a decaying, dusty, and bad smelling house- Ranpo immediately started looking around for something. Yosano, however, was standing in her place, explaining about how much of a safety hazard this place was to be in.
"Ranpo, can we just leave now? I'm going to have to give you like, four tetanus shots when we get back."
"Found it! Let's go, this place gives me the heebie jeebies." Before Ranpo even finished his sentence, Yosano was already out of the door.
"Ugh, whatever, I already paid the guy not to tear this place down, anyway." With a scoff, Ranpo ran- rather, walked- after Yosano.
-
"What even is that thing?" Asked Yosano when they got seated on a plane. "This, my dear Yosano, is a surprise for all of you. But you'll have to wait until we cam get access to Dazai's ability."
"Alright, but if it ends up being stupid im going to operate on you."
"Whatever you say, Yosano!!" Afterwards, the entire plane ride was silent.
-
After Yosano and Ranpo returned to the Agency, they were crowded around Ranpo, curious to see the mysterious object in his hands. Unfortunately for them, however, Dazai had not arrived yet, making them wait.
After about an hour thirty minutes, the man of the hour finally walked through the door, a smug grin on his face.
"Finally! Dazai, you are exactly an hour and thirty minutes late. What's your excuse this time?" Scolded Kunikida.
"Well, Kunikida, I had the most wonderful conversation with a gorego- ACK- ow, ow, ow! Kunikida! That hurts, you know??" Holding his ear in pain, whining some more.
"Ah! Ranpo! Dazai is here now, can you show us now?" Exclaimed Kenji, ever the enthusiast.
"Yeah, yeah. Dazai, come here!" As Dazai arrived at Ranpo's desk, he had pulled out a dusty book, titled The World of Nothingness.

"Now, Karl, I believe I'd like to name the book, I believe it'd be less suspicious! Don't you think?"

"And this will do what exactly?"
"Watch! You'll see, hehe." With a giggle, Ranpo watched as the room was devoured by a blue light.
The entire Agency watched as a figure and an animal formed above the book, their features hidden by the neon glow.
"Ah- What..? Where.." The mysterious man spoke in a foreign language, looking around the room with a crazed look.
"Hello there, Poe!"
