I was laying on bed, snuggled against Andrew’s side. He moves to check his phone and softly taps me on the back.
“Darling, it’s 9. We need to get up.” He says quietly. Causing me to whine and bury my head in his chest. “Do I have to?” Andrew chuckles “c’mon darling” He says, sitting up. “The working world awaits.” I groaned and sat up. “Finee” I sighed.
Swinging my legs over the bed hoisting myslef up by the bedposts, the second I let go I yelped and chrashed down to the floor.
Andrew ran over and kneeled beside me. “Darling, what happened? Are you alright?” I shook my head and hoisted myslef up against the bed. “It’s my knee. Hurts like a bitch.” He looked at me concerned before standing up and hoisting me onto the bed with little trouble.
I yelped “Andrew, I’m fine. I just need to walk it out” I said as he stopped my from standing up. “Sweetheart you can’t even stand on your own. That’s worse than usual.” I grumbled but gave in. “Fine but I can’t stay in bed all day, I have stuff to do.” He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. “I’ll take care of it for You, for now just rest.”
I whined. “Fine, can you just grab me my laptop, it’s on the table.” He nodded “Anything you need.” He ruffled my hair before walking out the bedroom.
I was dozing off by the time he got back, he had a few things with him which he put on the nightstand before waking me. “Sweetheart. I’m back.” He kissed my head. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking at the mountain of stuff on the nightstand. I looked at him confused.
He smiled before Listing everything “Paracetamol, heat pack and an ice pack for the pain. Two water bottles on with juice and one with water. Snacks Incase you get hungry. Gum cause I know you like to chew on things to stay focused. Laptop as you requested. And your cane incase you really do to get out of bed.”
I blinked at him. “Thank you.” I said suprised. He tilted his head. “Did I do something wrong, sorry you just never had a flare up in my company so I just-“ I cut him off “No, no Andrew thank you really. This is amazing no one has ever done this for me before.”
He frowned “What? Did your parents not do anything?” I shook my head. “Nah just needed to hope I didn’t fall in their company. They’d just call me dramatic.” I shrugged. “Just hoped it would go away on its own.”
Andrew looked horrified. “What- Thats insane darling.” I just shrugged again. “I’ve learned to deal with them over the years.” I kissed his cheek. “But now I have you, so it’s okay.” He nodded “yeah, yeah and don’t forget that okay.” He kissed my forehead. “Ofcourse not my sweet boy.”
He smiled “breakfast?” He asked “Oh please, I’m starving.” I said. He got up and ruffled my hair “Be right back.” He said and went to the kitchen.
I opened up my laptop and did some work, I had to edit my book. Luckily I could do that from home so it wasn’t an inconvenience.
Twenty minutes later Andrew stopped by with breakfast. “Here you go.” He said as he handed me a plate of eggs and bacon. I closed my laptop and put the plate on my lap. Andrew sat next to the bed on the floor, not wanting to get the bed messy.
“So what were you planning on doing tofay? Outside working?” He asked after a while. I swallowed my bite of food. “Well I had to buy groceries. Uhm- shit.” I cut myself off. He looked up alarmed. “What, what’s wrong?” He asked standing up hurriedly. “No, no sorry it’s nothing. I had plans with my friend today.” I sighed. “I feel like such a dick that I have to cancel”
He sat down next to me. “My love you’re in pain. You don’t have to feel bad, your health goes above everything.” He said taking my hand. “Yeah, yeah you’re right, I know you are.” I said and grabbed my phone if the nightstand. “And they’ll understand.” Mumbled as I texted her. They replied immediately with a “no worry, I hope it gets better soon!” I smiled snd kissed my head before getting of thr bed and walking to the closet to change.
My eyes followed him as he changed, he noticed me staring and blushed. “It’s rude to stare you know.” He teased as he pulled on a pair of jeans. I chuckled “It’s hard not to stare.” I saw the blush creep down his neck as he pulled on a shirt and walked over to me and bent down, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.
He pulled back and laughed before placing a kiss on my forehead. He stood up straight. “Can you send me the shopping list darling?” I nodded and texted him the list. He smiled “You’ll be alright alone?” He asked. “Yeah my love, I’ll be fine.” You laughed. He placed a kiss on the top of my head. “Alright, I’ll be back.” He said and grabbed the plates before disappearing out if the room.
I grabbed an ice pack from the nightstand and put it on my leg and eat two paracetamol before opening my laptop and started working. The pain subsided abit as the paracetamols staryed working.
After about an hour you heard the door open “Hi darling, I’m back” He shouted. I heard cabinets and open and close as he put the groceries away.
I heard him talking toward our room and he appeared in the doorway. “Hi sweetheart.” He said walking over to you and placing a kiss on my head. “How are you doing?”
I put my laptop aside “Better after the paracetamol.” He nodded and walked over to the closet, pulling out a less wrinkled shirt and putting it on. I cocked my head. “Do you have something to do?” He turned back to me “I have that interview today.” He said. My eyes lit up “Oh yeah, sorry I totally forgot.” I said.
“What time will you be back?” He checked his phone. “Uhm around 5 or 6. It’s a pretty long drive there.” He said and walked back over to me.
He sat next to me and kissed my cheeks. “I need to leave in 20 minutes. I’m sorry.” He mumbled and leaned against me. I wrapped my arms around him and buried my head in his neck. “It’s alright.” I said. “I’m just glad you got it.” I kissed his shoulder. “Me too” He mumbled leaned his head on mine and kissed it. “I love you so much. I hate to see you in pain like this.” I chuckled and kissed his shoulder “I love you too darling boy.”
After a while he pulled away and cupped my face before kissing me. “I need to go love.” He mumbled and he pulled back. I pulled him in hug “Goodluck sweet boy.” I said before pulling away. “Now go to you’ll be late.” He chuckled “yes yes.” He said and stood up, ruffling my hair. “I’ll see you tonight darling. Just call when you need anything.” I nodded “ofcourse, Ofcourse. See you tonight sweetheart.” With that he disappeared out of the room.
I listened as he got ready, humming a song. “Bye sweetheart.” He shouted before I heard the door close.
I opened my laptop back up and started working. After a few hours I felt a headache come up behind my eyes and decided to take a nap. I put my laptop away, chugged some water and layed down. Before I knew it I was dozing off.
After a few hours I got woken up by Andrew softly shaking me. “Hi my darling.” He said softly and sat down beside me as I hoisted myself up and mumbled a soft hi. I leaned against him “How are you feeling darling?” He asked softly. “Tired but alright.” I mumbled and buried my head in his shoulder. “Should I get started in dinner sweetheart?” I shook my head and wrapped my arms around him. “In a second.” I mumbled and rubbed my head against him. He placed a hand on my head. “Ofcourse love.” He said.
A few minutes later I let him go and kissed his forehead. “There you are.” He said and cupped my face. I leaned into his touch. “Are you ready for dinner sweetheart?” I nodded “I’m hungry.” He chuckled. “Ill get right on that than.” He said and I lifted head from his hands.
He went into the kitchen and I fell back into bed. I was staring at the celling and decided to suprise him. I sat up and drank some juice, slipped on my knee braces and grabbed my cane. I hoisted myself up,
It hurt but less than before. I hobbled into the kitchen leaning heavily on my cane for support.
I went up behind him and slipped my arm around his waist and leaned my head on his shoulder. “Hi handsome.” I mumbeld. He cautiously turned around. He slipped his arms around my waist. “Hi darling.” He said and kissed my forehead. “Feeling better I see.” I nodded. He led me to a chair and sat me down. Leaning my cane against the back of it. He leaned down and cupped my face. “Dinner will be done soon.” He kissed my forehead.
A few minutes later he scooped food onto two plates and set them down on the table. “Here you are.” He said as he sat down opposite me. We ate while he told me about the interview, it went great and he talked about his upcoming album.
After dinner he cleaned up the plate. He walked over to me and picked me up. I yelped and wrapped my arms around him, he put me down onto the bed. “There we are.” He said with a smile.
He stripped down to his boxers and put on a sleep shirt while I pulled of my knee braces and put them besides the bed.
Andrew slipped into the bed beside me and wrapped his arms around me, I cuddle up against his chest and he kissed head. He ran his hands up and down my arms.
“Sweetheart?” I mumbled, already half asleep. “Yes baby?” He whispered. “Thank you” He chuckled softly and kissed my head. “For what?” I yawned “For taking care of me. I love you.” He smiled “Ofcourse sweetheart, I love you too.” He scratched my head. “Now go to sleep.” He whispered and you closed your eyes, dozing if quickly. Andrew followed not long after.
