Chapter 1: prologue

Chapter Text

In the 1975, Sirius Black was running through the rain to his true brother, James Potter. The one who has always been there for him. He understands him in another level of understatement. Now, he can’t wait to finally see him, after what he's been through. He hates his mother. After the fight, he couldn’t come back. Sirius always was away from his family beliefs. But this was too much for him. She hurt him in the worst way possible. She gave him wounds that he will never recover from. He could never be the same as he was. And his stupid brother… the perfect child, that his parents loved unconditionally. The one that was too dumb to run away with him. His puppy eyes begged him to stay, but that was a foolish dream. He was covered in blood and his sibling did nothing.  Regulus could only watch when he was starting to bleed. Sirius was screaming:

“Speak up Reggie! I know you don’t hate me that much” - he flinged when he remembered how embarrassing he was. He could barely see the street, because of the tears in his eyes. Suddenly, Sirius stopped and started throwing up. He couldn’t stand how much his mother made him hate himself. He hates himself for being normal. He was normal. He couldn’t care about their pureblood shit. Even if he didn’t see through his tears, he knew how to get to James' house. It was like remembering the constellations in the night sky. He couldn’t stop thinking about the situation in the house, that he left Reggie with them. But now he was free and that was all that mattered. Standing in front of his best friend’s house, he was finally ready to get the life he deserves. When the door opened, he saw his James:

“Come in Sirius. Don’t stay there like a stray dog. You have a home now”

And, suddenly his life changed in the best way possible.
