He was found seemingly asleep by a nun. A boring end for such a lively and avid man who many considered to be his rival. Alas Gofferdo felt obligated to attend the man's funeral, for all the debates and bickering Goffredo lost something important to him, a unique connection.
His funeral was in a relatively small affair considering the pope was in attendance. It was open viewing and with a sigh he stepped up and found himself looking over his still body, laying peacefully, a state which Goffredo rarely ever saw.
He leaned over and licked Bellini's forehead. Everyone around him seemed to turn to look at him in absolute horror. The nun that had found Aldo was crying. Innocent was clearly outraged, Goffredo doubted anyone in the Vatican had ever seen Innocent in such a state.
All of a sudden he felt a shove from behind and Goffredo had found himself hurtling towards the floor.
