double, triple take

Summary:

Hyunjin pointed to the guy walking over in their direction and said,

“Felix, don’t you know Chris?”

And he was like… “Huh.”

Or: Christopher was in Felix’s Taekwondo class back in Australia years ago when they were kids. Now, they both are living in South Korea and somehow the scrawny kid has grown into a fine ass man.

Chapter 1: when did you get hot?

Chapter Text

It has been three months since his last hookup. THREE MONTHS. Felix was not at all an unattractive guy and he even considered himself to be a quite handsome man. Big boba eyes with a cute galaxy of freckles and  his plump lips, he was almost a Hot-Gays-Bait due to the way he had come into the world.

However, things were going bad. The last guy he had brought home was terrible in bed and had him faking a leg cramp just to get an excuse to end it already – Felix did not take pride in that. But now he was suffering the consequences: he had two friends with benefits from when times got rough, and now they were both dating each other. Hyunjin and Changbin tried once to get him in bed with them but one thing was having sex while they were single, and a whole different one was when they were dating. It was just weird! He always had a backup plan in the form of Yunho, but the last time Felix called, the guy said that he was ALSO dating someone else. Felix did not know this Mingi guy but honestly, fuck him.

I mean, literally.

He checked the guy’s Instagram and he could fuck Felix anytime. But whatever.

Now, he needed to drop the celibate act and find someone. Anyone. He refused to go on dating apps though, and the idea of going back to one night stands as he used to do when he first got to Korea was a disaster. A hellish thought.

His friends had convinced him that he needed to go out and meet more people, and since he made the terrible mistake of agreeing, he had been dragged to several random events where Hyunjin would claim that he would find the love of his life. In his 24 years of living he had yet to find his soulmate and by now, he had given up. “I don’t want the love of my life, Hyunjin. I just want a man. A hot one.”

“Well, then let’s go out tomorrow. There’s this rock festival going on downtown and maybe you could find a pretty rockstar to go home to,” he said with a wink. Jinnie has always been a hopeless romantic and because of that Felix has been to multiple places that he in fact did NOT want to go. They have been on a catamaran when it was 5 degrees celsius, to a renaissance fair where they had to dress up as knights and even on a senior trip to Gyeongju. It was quite the story, when Hyunjin made him book the tour he thought that it meant college seniors, when in fact it was for elderly seniors. The bus had two 23 year olds and forty +60s.

“Hyunjin, I don’t know. I bet they’ll all be metalheads and probably not a single gay person in sight.”

“Oh, come on. It’s not that type of event, it’s a regular one! I know you like Papa Roach and Green Day. We’ll be here to pick you up at 11. Be ready and dress up nicely!”

✯✯✯

He did not dress up nicely. Entering the car with his loose jeans, an oversized white shirt and a cap on backwards, Hyunjin gave him a side eye but said nothing.

The trip to the location was nice, Changbin singing loudly the entire time. The weather was perfect, no clouds in sight and a light breeze that softened the scolding sun on their skin in a nice and comfortable way.

They met Jisung and Seungmin there, moving immediately to the drinks station to grab a couple of beers and settle down for the show. Felix was surprised, the crowd were mostly in their 20s and the event was held in a big place with a lot of grass, so they had brought towels to sit on during the day.

Walking over to the stage, Changbin let out a loud yell and pointed forward, “Hey you!”

There was a trio coming in their direction, and Felix recognized only one of them. Minho was a friend of theirs that Jisung had a situation with, hooking up sometimes on their nights out but never settling down for whatever reason.

The guy on the other end was foxy-like, pretty and with a wide grin.

But the guy in the middle. Holy crap. Felix looked once, twice, and then a third just for confirmation.

His hair was falling in his eyes and he had plump, beautiful lips. His smile was brilliant, beautiful in a  way Felix had never seen before and the man had light coloured jeans on paired up with a white tight tee and black leather jacket.

When they got closer, Hyunjin pointed to the fucking god in front of them and asked,

“Felix, don’t you know Chris?”

Huh.

“Huh.”

He in fact did know Chris. The big nose, bright eyes and the curve of his smile were extremely familiar, bringing him back to sunny days in Sydney. His mind was straining against the million thoughts running around until the said man spoke,

“I know you. You’re from Seven Hills, right?”

“Yes… Wait. Chris as in Christopher? Christopher Bang?”

He knew him! Chris was a few years older than him but they were in the same Taekwondo class, competing against each other pretty often back then.

“Yeah! Holy shit, what are you doing here?”

“I moved to Seoul for college three years ago. How about you?” He couldn’t hold it in, his eyes kept roaming up and down Chris’ body, zeroing multiple times in the strain his shirt had over his pectorals. Jesus fucking Christ.

“My company sent me here about two years back, after I graduated. You changed so much!”

Well, he had too. Felix remembered thinking that Chris was a little weird, the kid was way too nerdy and his face used to be a little chubby in comparison to his small body. Now, the guy looked hot as fuck. He had a hard jawline and a nice figure, even though Felix couldn’t see much from the clothes he was wearing.

“You look amazing! Wow, how the years change us, huh?” He responded with a tiny and sly smirk. The look Chris gave him in response was sultry, gaze running through the entirety of Felix’s body. Damn. He really should’ve dressed up more.

“Alright, my fellow australians. You can talk while we walk. Lixie, this is Jeongin by the way!”

The two boys exchanged pleasantries and soon they found themselves close to the stage, putting their blankets down and sitting comfortably. The show was indeed great, Felix having the time of his life while the lead singer screamed about school fights and teenagers not going to jail.

“What do you work with, Chris?” He had to fish for some attention. The older boy was leaning back and the jacket had fallen over his left shoulder, showing strong muscles and a toned arm. Holy shit.

“I work in finance. Graduated about 5 years ago. What about you?”

“Administrive assistance. Graduating this year, thankfully.”

Changbin chimed in quickly, “He doesn’t just work in finance. He always says that to downplay it. He’s a CFO.”

So the guy was handsome, apparently jacked, and had money? Felix was in love. If they were in a cartoon, they would see giant red hearts pulsing from his eyes.

Well. Something else was definitely pulsing too.

“CFO, huh? That’s so nice! Congratulations!” The guy had to have brains to be hired to be a chief financial officer, that was given already. The Chris he had met years ago was someone else entirely now, and Felix was hoping to get to meet the new Chris in many other ways.

“Yeah, but I didn’t get immediately hired as that. I started as a trainee years ago and grew into the company. It was a pretty small one back then, and when we decided to open a Korean branch they sent me here.”

Well. Thank god they did.

“That’s amazing! I started as a trainee as well and they promoted me to the assistant job. It’s really nice to have your work recognized, right?”

Blah, blah, blah. Proper name, place name, backstory stuff. By now Felix was just talking bullshit and he couldn’t stop staring at the guy. How the hell did they meet years later in a situation like this? Another country, in another language and with the same friends. Even worse, how on earth did Changbin and Hyunjin know him?

The group kept talking and singing, rotating to get up sometimes so they could grab more beers. When it was finally Felix’s turn to go to the bar, Chris immediately tagged along. They talked some more on the way and while Felix paid, the brunette grabbed the six cans to carry himself.

Chris kept throwing glances in the other boy’s way, eyes focusing on his eyes like they were… searching for something. He was just so nice and polite, Felix thought, acting like a true gentleman.

Back to their spot, they sat down side by side, the older ignoring the place he was sitting before. Their knees touched and the conversation flew easily, from their jobs to their lives now and even about the good old times back in Australia. Chris complimented Felix at every chance he could, saying that he was really good at Taekwondo back then and even about how his smile was beautiful. Felix blushed several times.

They found out that they worked basically next to each other and laughed over how destiny never had them meeting on the street, given that even the place both would have lunch sometimes was the same.

As the hours passed, clouds started forming and a chilly breeze came to the event. Felix regretted not bringing a damn jacket. He could have looked at the weather forecast before going out, just like Hyunjin told him to. Well, he had told him to dress nicely as well and Felix completely ignored it, now regretting his actions. He probably should listen to his best friend more, even though the other boy could never, EVER, know about it.

“Here, you can take it,” Chris said as he took his jacket off, he probably had seen the way the blonde kept shivering. Felix was mesmerized as the scene unfolded, now that he didn’t have the jacket on his muscles were all out to the world.

Strong, big biceps were the first thing noticed - the fair skin the boy had reddening a little by the shoulders and the elbows. Felix could guess where else was red. Or pink.

“It’s okay, don’t worry! You’ll get cold,” he responded with a blush.

“Nah, it’s fine. My body’s temperature is always very hot.” Felix could guess where else was hot.

Alright.

He had to stop that. Immediately.

The jacket really was warm from Chris’ body, a spicy musk coming off from it. He was hot, rich and good-smelling. It was like a damn dream coming true, something Felix never envisioned but could start right away.

When it was dark already they decided to leave, the designated drivers already tired. Felix walked closely to the brunette, a little buzzed from all the beers and not even trying to hide his intentions anymore. “I’ll see you around, right?” Chris asked when they got to Changbin’s car.

“Of course. Just let me know when you’re free!”

Arms encircled Felix’s waist firmly and the hug lasted a little too long for it to be exclusively friendly. The blonde knew that Chris was into him as well from all the ways he kept looking and talking to him, but the way he had whispered his goodbyes in his ear had Felix shivering all over again. It was so strong that it got him embarrassed and the other guy noticed for sure. Shit.

They got into the car in silence, and Felix knew the teasing would start soon. It was just a matter of time.

“Just go with it alrea–”

“What the hell was–”

Hyunjin spoke it at the same time as him.

“If I knew you would be into Chris, I would have set you up earlier! I didn’t even connect the fact that you guys are from the same place. This is perfect, Felix!”

“Alright, alright. Yeah, he’s hot as fuck. I’m actually mad you guys never introduced him to me.” Felix wasn’t actually pissed, but his friends knew that he was looking for someone!

“In my defense, I couldn’t just straight up do that. Chris and I work together and I had no idea he would be here! Also, I had no idea that he was gay. Or bi.” Changbin chimed in, finally giving an explanation of where the fuck he knew the australian.

“Well, I don’t care if he’s gay or bi. I just want him to be into boys! Into me!” He was giggling now, bringing his hand up to cover his smile. Only then he had noticed that the jacket was still on, Chris forgetting it before leaving.

The couple dropped him off and the blonde entered his apartment with a sigh. The place he lived in was his family’s, his dad purchasing the apartment years before Felix even decided to come to Korea for his studies. He had a pretty good salary that covered all the bills nicely, and he had a few savings that would help him if anything happened. The life he had was a really comfortable one, being able to live by himself in a pretty good place that had him within two subway stations to work.

That night he went to sleep in a happy mood after receiving a notification written Bang Chan (gnabnahc) started following you.

Hell yeah.

✯✯✯

The next morning he managed to sleep late and enjoy his free time on the bed.

Around 11 he got a phone call from an unknown number, deciding to pick up just in case, “Hello?”

“Hi Felix! It’s Chris. I got your phone from Changbin. Hope that’s okay.”

Holy shit. Felix almost let out a squeak. Why would Chris be calling him? Maybe for the jacket? Probably.

Fuck.

“Oh, hi Chris! It’s okay, don’t worry about that. It’s because of your jacket, right? I can have it sent ove–”

“Not at all. You can give it back when we meet again. Maybe today? I called to ask if you wanna have lunch with me.”

SHIIIIIIT.

Maybe Chris wanted to catch up on things…? How’s Australia and all that? Or maybe it was a lunch date? Fuck. What if it was a lunch date?

“I definitely want to have lunch, yeah. What time are you thinking?”

“I’ll be there to pick you up at 1. Is that alright?” AND he was picking Felix up? The most he has had so far from other guys was an uber drive on their way back. And now Chris was deliberately asking him out, taking him to lunch and driving them?

“That’s perfect. I’ll text you my address!”

“Awesome, then. I’ll see you in a bit.”

After sending him the text, Felix trashed around his bed - straight up freaking out. What would he wear? Chris didn’t tell him where they were going. He should dress nicely anyway, and if he had to be ready by 1 then he should get up immediately.

After showering completely, the boy walked around the house with his Alexa playing calm tunes so maybe he could control himself more.

That did not happen.

In fact, he completely destroyed his closet while trying to find a nice outfit, left a mess on his dressing table and had to redo his hair at least three times before settling down with a flowy kinda look. His blonde hair was longer now, almost touching his shoulders, and the way he had blowdried it left his fringe falling perfectly on the sides of his face.

He settled on a simple fit, khaki trousers with a white shirt and jeans jacket. When it was 10 to 1, he put on perfume and jewelry. When it was 5, his doorbell rang.

Christopher looked amazing. His hair was fluffy, his legs were covered in black pants and to top it off he had also chosen a white shirt with a buttoned light green blouse. His smile was blinding, his lips red and eyes shining when they trailed up and down the blonde’s body, “You look beautiful, Felix. Hi.”

The said boy blushed, hurrying out of the door and closing it behind him, “You look great too. Thanks for picking me up.” Only on their walk to the elevator he had noticed something in the brunette’s hand. A single white rose.

Felix had never received flowers before, since it wasn’t that common for gay guys to do that – even more so in South Korea. But Christopher has been doing every single thing right until then, and if he kept going on that, he would be honestly hooked in an instant.

The older one had a shy smile when extending his hand, “This is for you. Sorry I couldn’t bring anything else, I just had little to no time to prepare. This one’s from my garden actually.”

Felix grabbed the flower with a huge smile on, his cheeks scarlet by now and he could feel the tip of his ears burning, “So this is a date date, huh?”

“Oh. Of course. I mean, if you’re not into that then we can have a normal lunch, I’m fine with that either–”

“No! No, I wanted it to be a date. Just didn’t know how to ask before, you know.”

Leaving the apartment building and getting on the street, Chris walked over to a sleek black BMW. He opened the passenger door, waited until Felix sat down and only after that closed and went over to his seat. Even the car smelled amazing, Versace Eros clouding the blonde’s mind in a second.

He could literally feel himself getting wet. The hand gripping the wheel was strong and veiny, the other one laying comfortably on Chris’s right thigh as he drove confidently.

Felix didn’t ask where they were going and Chris didn’t say it either, the conversation inside the car flowing lightly as he drove through the streets and entered Gangnam District. Felix was relatively well-off, but to have lunch in Gangnam, at the end of the month, was definitely something that would put his already low bank account way too lower for his likings. But he would never say that, not on their first date.

After Chris parked he took advantage and left the car while Felix unbuckled his seatbelt, coming around the BMW to open the door for him. Walking into the restaurant with a hand on the blonde’s lower back, the older presented his name at the entrance and asked for his reservation.

Even the chair was pulled, Felix feeling butterflies on his stomach ever since they left the apartment, “This place is so nice!”

The environment had a lot of plants and a comfortable vibe to it, MOSS Garden has always been a restaurant that Felix wanted to visit but never took the time for.

“It is, isn’t it? I brought my family here last year and have been waiting for the right opportunity to visit it again,” he said with a small smile. “You can pick whatever you want, would you like a drink as well?”

Felix definitely did. Chris ordered a mocktail since he was driving and the conversation they had was nice, the older’s hand trailing the tablecloth closer and closer to Felix’s. The food was incredible, and they were definitely having the time of their lives.

“Are you enjoying your meal?” Chris asked. Felix was loving it, not only the food but the company. Chris ended up being extremely funny and quick-witted, matching the younger boy’s energy perfectly.

“It’s amazing, Chris. I’m glad you invited me. I’ve always wanted to try their food and you’re the perfect company as well…” The drink had made him courageous, Chris had been flirting with him for a while now but the boy was too shy to get on the same level. Now, he wanted to show him that he was interested. Very much so.

“I’m glad you came. I didn't know if I was being too straight-forward but had to shoot my shot. I want to take you out more times, if you’re up to that.”

“I am. It’s been a long time and I’m glad we reunited. It’s not bad that you look like this nowadays either…”

Chris belly laughed at that, to the point where tears gathered in the corners of his eyes, “Yeah, I used to look like a tiny rat didn’t I? Thank god time has passed.”

Felix sipped on his drink with a sly gaze, looking straight into Chris’ eyes, “Yeah. Thank god.”

His fingers toyed on top of the table as they waited for the dessert, reaching over to the older’s hand and playing with his rings. The way Chris stared at him was scorching hot, eyes piercing through his barrels with a mischief behind.

“Tell me about you now, what have you been up to? Work, hobbies, past relationships, how long has it been since you last dated…” He was unceremoniously fishing for information, not caring about seeming nosy by now.

Chris laughed again, “I love my job. Could be more exciting but that’s fine. I love running and playing video games, also doing some music in my free time. Last time I dated was three years ago, the guy left unannounced and I haven’t seen him since. Before that I dated a few girls back in Australia but found out that even though I'm bi, I like being with guys more.” He said it quickly with a side smile, “What about you?”

“Definitely gay. I had a hard time getting to know if I was non-binary or a trans man in my teenage years but figured out that I identify myself as a guy, in the end. It has been a while since I last dated but honestly I wasn't looking for anything. I guess I am now.”

“Good. That you are up to dating. I wasn’t really looking for it either, have been too focused on work lately. But the tables turn, I guess. And fast.”

“Yeah. Things come up when we least suspect it, my friends have been bugging me to go out and meet people for a long time. I’m still pissed that Changbin didn’t introduce us before.”

By the time they asked for the bill they had been in the restaurant for over three hours. Chris nonchalantly gave his black card to the waiter and paid for everything, not even letting Felix reach for his own pocket, “Nah, it’s on me. Don’t need you to worry about paying for stuff when we go out, Felix.”

They decided to go for a light walk and the blonde confidently grabbed Chris’ arm, feeling up the hard muscles hidden by the shirt. He was definitely strong. And could also DEFINITELY pick the younger boy up easily. Maybe throw him around the bedroom like he was carrying a feather. Felix was definitely kind of a slut but he had to restrain himself a little, at least for now. Chris didn’t know this side of him yet, and he was afraid of scaring the older guy before they got to any intimacy at all.

When they came back to the car and Chris drove them to an ice cream parlor, they sat down on a cute bench facing the river - watching the beautiful sunset with their sides glued to each other and whispered conversations.

“I’m enjoying myself today. Thanks for the date,” Felix said with full honesty. He really was having a blast, enjoying himself in a way that he hadn’t felt in a long, long time.

“I really meant it when I said that I wanna take you out more. Can I pick you up for dinner one of these days?”

“Yeah, you can. I would love to.”

Their faces were close, closer than they have ever been before. Felix wanted to lean in and touch his lips into Chris’, the thought of tonguing the older boy’s plump lips almost driving him mad. That was, until he spoke.

“I don’t like doing this on first dates. And maybe we’re rushing too much but… I wanna kiss you so bad.”

Felix wanted too. It was driving him mad, the way his mind conjured images of his lean body pressed against Chris’ sturdy one, strong hands all over him in a scolding hot touch.

“Kiss me, then.”

It felt like fireworks had been set out on his stomach. Chris’ hand found his jaw, a grip firm but not hurtful. His eyes kept staring into Felix’s, a thumb pressing down the blonde’s lip to open it slowly. He saw as Chris’ eyes trailed down his face, its path going down, down, down until they found his open mouth.

Teeth nibbed on his lower lip, taking a gentle bite. The eyes found Felix’s again, a look of lust so strong that he could feel a tingling sensation on his lower region. When they finally kissed, Felix felt entirely engulfed in the moment - his hand finding the older’s bicep and his body melting completely.

The kiss was strong, full of passion and something that Felix had never felt before. The taste of strawberry on Chris’ tongue was addictive, and his cold lips soon warmed up. Breaking it with a sigh, a string of saliva connected the two mouths and the brunette licked Felix’s lower lip quickly, as if he could not get enough contact between the two.

“You taste delicious,” he said. His hand had a strong grip on the blonde’s scalp, and like a bucket of cold water the two realised that they were… in public.

Felix wanted to throw himself on top of him, his underwear completely drenched by now. His libido was so high that he could literally jump a tree, the aching feeling of emptiness too much to bear.

“We should go…” Chris said.

Yeah. Definitely they should go.

Getting into the car and driving, Felix kept glancing at the way Chris’ lips were red and swollen, at how his breathing still came out raggedy and his hand gripped his thigh hard.

They were silent but it was pleasant, the car parking in front of the building and killing the engine. “Do you wanna go upstairs?” It was straight forward but had to try. It was now or never.

The hand on his leg gripped more firmly, as if Chris had to hold himself back and it was taking all of his resolve to do so. “I wish I could. But I really shouldn’t, Lix.”

“Oh… okay.”

It felt like a reality check. Maybe he had imagined it all up, thinking that the older boy was as interested as him as Felix was. Maybe he just went ahead and believed that Chris would like to take him out again, when in reality he didn’t. He felt so stupid all of a sudden.

“No, wait. That’s not what I mean.” He looked exasperated all of a sudden, the look on his eyes open and wild. “Look, it’s Sunday. I’m gonna be extremely honest now. When we move on, I wanna treat you nice. When I get my hands on someone, I don’t do it quickly, Felix. I wanna have all day to be with you, do you understand?”

Shit. His boxers were so wet now that Felix was afraid that it would stain his fucking pants.

“I mean it. I can’t just give in to what I’m feeling and treat you like a one night stand. I want to take you out, have a great time and then come back to my place so I can fuck you stupid. Does that sound like a plan?”

Looking down, the bulge on his pants was really big. Massive. Felix could not wait to get his hands on Chris, feeling the weight of his cock on his hands, his mouth, his pussy. But he understood where he came from, and he did not want to be fucked in a rush as well. He would have to wait, then.

“I get it. It’s fine. I– I really want to go out with you again. And go to your place. And be fucked stupid. Even better if it’s in that sequence.”

Chris laughed out loud, looking at him fondly as Felix giggled. “Come give me a kiss and then I’ll be on my way.”

The blonde leaned over, and this time the kiss was gentle and warm. They spent minutes like that, until Felix’s arm started to cramp up and he had to move.

“Alright! I’ll go now. Thanks for the lovely lunch, and I’ll see you again this week, right?”

“Yeah, you will. I’ll text you about where I’m taking you next time.”

Felix went to sleep happy that night. And if his hand found its place inside his sleeping shorts, that’s for him to know.
