“Mind if I stay here?”
Xiao Shuai felt a presence behind him as he opened the clinic doors. He looked back with wide eyes and sighed in relief as he saw Chi Cheng.
“Why do you sneak up on me like that? What if I punched you?” The doctor huffed out, glaring at the taller male.
“I’ve experienced worse from Suo Wei”
Chi Cheng simply says and gets in, leaving Xiao Shuai outside.
“Hey, why are you even here so early?” Shuai asks as he follows Chi Cheng, a frown on his face.
“Nothing” Chi Cheng answered and sat down, looking at the doctor who made a thinking face.
“Is it about Da Wei?” He asked and the male kept quiet. He smirked and thought further.
“You guys had a fight?” Chi Cheng let out a sigh and nodded.
“I don’t know if you consider it a fight… but he kicked me out of the house for no reason” The taller male scratches his nape, sighing.
“Hormones? Mood swings?” Chi Cheng nods at that, leaning back.
“His mood swings are scary” Xiao Shuai laughs, shaking his head.
“The cold-hearted Mr Chi, scared of his little boss, Wu Suo Wei… Didn’t think this day would come so quickly” Xiao Shuai says, laughing hysterically. Chi Cheng glared at him and he put his hands up, chuckling.
“Why’d you come here anyways? How about the company? Or your parents’ home?”
“I can’t give Suo Wei trouble when he looks for me, I know this will be the first place he’ll go to when he looks for me or when he needs someone—you, to look for me” Chi Cheng grabs the chips Shuai hands him, opening it and eating it as he waits.
“What even happened?” Shuai asks, sitting behind the desk and looking at his chart.
“He woke up irritable, he complained to me last night about back pains and his feet swelling… he couldn’t sleep and that is why he woke up annoyed” Chi Cheng explains and chewed after.
“And you left him like that?” Xiao Shuai frowned—why did Chi Cheng leave?
“You think I have a choice? He literally kicked me—I mean literally kicked me out of the house… He even watched outside and shooed me away. I’m telling you… you doctors or scientists, whatever or whoever makes medicines, needs to create a medicine for mood swings” Huffing, Chi Cheng sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
“You’ll live,” Xiao Shuai says, shaking his head. They’re both startled as the clinic doors opened and in walked Cheng Yu.
“Oh, Chi Cheng, why are you here?” Cheng Yu asks and Chi Cheng sighs, looking at him.
“Fight with Wu Suo Wei?”
“You can say that” Chi Cheng’s phone rang and both chuckled, knowing who it was.
“Hello, Wei Wei?” Chi Cheng answered the call, glaring at the two males that laughed.
“Why’d you leave me? I’m hurt! I’m hurt, Chi Cheng!”
“Baby, I didn’t leave… I went to buy food, what do you want?” Chi Cheng tries an alibi, knowing that arguing with the pregnant omega would cause him not to be able to step foot into their house for a day. Suo Wei starts to list things he wanted and Chi Cheng lists it all after grabbing Xiao Shuai’s pen and paper.
“Also, where are you? I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING XIAO SHUAI AND CHENG YU!”
Both male stopped laughing, eyes widening and staring at Chi Cheng who smirked at them.
“Tell the two of them, I am sulking at them!”
The call ended and all three men looked at each other.
“What should we do?” Cheng Yu asks, frowning.
“We enter the lion’s den and feed the lion”
They all took careful steps as they walked into the living room, where Suo Wei sat, watching a show. The omega slowly turned his head, scaring all three of them.
“What took you guys so long?” He asks, raising a brow with his arms crossed.
“We bought you food” All three of them said and showed the bags they had bought—the one he had listed during his call with Chi Cheng.
“Really? I am starving!” The omega says, sighing in relief as he grabs all the bags.
“Da Wei, make sure to slow down and take it easy…” Xiao Shuai reminds and his friend nods, smiling at him. That was easy. Everyone sighed in relief as Suo Wei was once again in a good mood, they just hope it stays like that until the night.
Xiao Shuai and Cheng Yu stayed for the night as Chi Cheng had an urgent meeting he needed to go to. Not wanting to leave his omega alone, he had asked the two to look after the pregnant male. Cheng Yu was cooking food when he heard the loud cry that erupted throughout the house.
His head turned in a flash, his eyes widening and he stopped what he was doing.
“Xiao Wei—” He’s cut off as he’s met with the sight of Suo Wei crying while Xiao Shuai kneeled in front of him, trying to calm him down.
“What happened?” He asks, frowning and standing beside his crouched lover.
“Chi Cheng doesn’t love me anymore! He left! He left me, shifu! Why did he leave? Is it because I’m fat? Is it because I’m too irritable? Does he not want me anymore? Shifu, answer me!” Suo Wei sobbed into his hands. Xiao Shuai couldn’t even process what his friend was saying, there were too many questions.
Although he wanted to laugh at the confused look that Shuai displayed on his face, Cheng Yu composed himself because he does not want a mad omega—a mad pregnant omega screaming at him for laughing.
“Da Wei, slow down… Calm down for me, bub… Tell me, what’s really troubling you?” Xiao Shuai says as he makes Suo Wei look up, smiling as encouragement that he’s listening.
“I don’t really know what’s happening to me, Xiao Shuai… I feel sorry for Chi Cheng, I always lash out on him and I can’t control it… What if he leaves me? What if he gets tired? I don’t want that, especially when we’ll be having our baby in a few months” Suo Wei cried out, pouting as he looked at Xiao Shuai and Cheng Yu.
“Hey, I don't think Chi Cheng would ever leave you… What’s the point of pursuing you for almost a year if he’s just going to leave you like that? Chi Cheng is a loyal man” Cheng Yu assured and Suo Wei chuckled.
“You think so?”
“I know so”
Cheng Yu chuckled as Suo Wei smiled at him, thanking him for the assurance.
“Yeah, besides he also plays a role in why you’re having these mood swings and everything… he participated in it” Cheng Yu continued and the two omegas laughed, agreeing with him.
“Yeah, so he has to suffer the consequences” Xiao Shuai adds, patting Suo Wei’s knee.
“So, Da Wei… there’s nothing to worry about… Chi Cheng loves you so damn much” The doctor says, laughing.
The omega laughed, shaking his head and placing a hand over his bump.
“Hey, Cheng Yu… weren’t you cooking?” Suo Wei asks out of the blue. The alpha’s eyes widened and he let out a loud gasp.
“Oh, shit!”
“What happened to the kitchen?” Chi Cheng faced palms as he walked inside the kitchen, seeing the state of it.
“Cheng Yu happened” Suo Wei waddled, following after his husband.
“That jerk,” Chi Cheng said and turned to look at Suo Wei.
“Why are you still awake? You should be resting, Wei Wei”
“Couldn’t sleep, I need my alpha beside me… Your scent calms the baby, he keeps kicking” Suo Wei grabs Chi Cheng’s hand and places it over his bump. There was a kick and he could see the change in the alpha’s expression. A smile crept up to his face and he made eye contact with his husband.
“Cheng, I’m sorry if I always have you as the victim of my mood swings… I hope you won’t get tired of me…” Suo Wei says as he hugged the alpha, who hugs him back.
“Nonsense, I’m also at fault for why you are experiencing these… so, I don’t really care if you scream at me… I kinda like it” Chi Cheng smirked and Suo Wei glared at him, slapping his arm.
“Chi Cheng!”
“Just kidding, but for real, Wei Wei… I will never get tired of you, I committed my whole life to you… What was the point of making a promise to a crowd of people if I didn't do it? You will always be my omega and I will always be your alpha, no one else” Rolling his eyes, Suo Wei grabbed Chi Cheng’s head and pulled him in for a kiss.
“When did you get so good with your words? I feel like I’m falling in love again… I love you so damn much” Suo Wei says as he rests his forehead on Chi Cheng’s.
“Always been good with my words, you just don’t listen” The older male says and Suo Wei gasps.
“Are you saying—”
“Just kidding, I love you too”
