Work Text:
It started playfully. Suowei had seen those videos of people calling their partners “husband” and “wife” and thought it would be fun. He knew Cheng wanted to be called that in bed, so he was interested how he'd react if Suowei used it casually.
He used the small recording device from what felt like decades ago to secretly film. They had been running errands for the business so he said he'd order them food to have delivered so they could eat as soon as they got home. They were stopped in heavy traffic due to construction so he figured it was the perfect time.
He ordered like normal, heart fluttering faster as the time approached.
“Oh, and my husband really likes your spicy gyoza, so two orders of that.”
He felt Cheng's head snap to look at him and shifted in his seat to face the door more to try to hide his smile. He kept going, giving the address and the payment as he felt Cheng shifting around behind him. He finally realized what all the shifting was for when he felt hands on his pants.
He yelped and finally looked at his boyfriend. Cheng was not looking at his face though, he was determinedly staring at his own hands working Suowei's pants open. Suowei tried to ask what Cheng was doing without the restaurant hearing. As soon as Suowei's shaft was free, Cheng's mouth enveloped him.
Suowei had to slap his hand over his mouth to silence himself. He replied quickly, suddenly wondering why delivery calls took so long. When the call finally ended, he tossed his phone into the back seat and tangled a hand in Cheng's hair as the man bobbed quickly on him.
“W-we're in traffic.” He panted softly, looking around to see if anyone was noticing them.
“You better cum fast then.” Cheng mumbled around his shaft which should not have been as hot as it was.
Suowei panted and whined. He saw the cars finally starting to move, but before he could warn Cheng, his orgasm was overtaking him. He tightened his hand in his boyfriend's hair as he kept his other hand over his mouth as he filled Cheng's.
He went slack against his seat, hand slipping free of Cheng's soft hair. Cheng swallowed as he sat up, eyes boring into his boyfriend as he used his thumb to wipe the corner of his mouth. The car behind honked and he started driving, still not looking away from his Wei Wei. It took a few seconds, but Suowei remembered the recording device. His entire face got hot and he started cursing Cheng as he grabbed the device and fumbled with turning it off.
Cheng just laughed and finally turned back to the road.
They were in bed relaxing with each other, Cheng gently rubbing Suowei's ear as they scrolled on their phones. He wasn't sure how, but Suowei's feed was a bunch of cute couple content and pranks. He wasn’t upset, but it did unfortunately give him more ideas of what he wanted to do to Cheng.
He knew the trend of pretending you're going to go down on your partner only to ask for a massage would not go well… or maybe it would go too well, but a massage did sound nice. He huffed out loudly, pouting as he looked at Cheng without turning his head. Cheng ignored him.
Suowei whined loudly, kicking his feet against the mattress. Cheng continued to ignore him.
Suowei whined even louder, angling his head up more to nearly scream at the ceiling as he flailed his entire body.
“Wei Wei!” Cheng snapped.
Suowei pouted and turned to him.
“Just say whatever you want to say.”
“My shoulders hurt.”
“Stop slouching at work.” Cheng was still looking at his phone and Suowei gave a huff of annoyance.
“Massage my shoulders, they hurt.”
“Massage them yourself.” The taller man responded without any real heat.
They both knew if he really thought Suowei was hurting, he'd have professionals in their flat in a heartbeat, but they were both used to the others dramatics at this point. The fight was the most fun part, wondering who would give in first. Suowei was determined this time though.
“Come on, please? It really, really hurts.” He pouted big and exaggerated as he jostled Cheng, who reminded disaffected. “Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please.”
Cheng seemed to be getting a touch annoyed, but still wasn't caving.
“I really need it, please hubby.” He whined without really thinking about the words.
Suowei noticed when he had said when Cheng's head snapped to look at him, no longer bothering with his phone. Suowei blushed but didn't back down.
In a blink, Cheng had flipped his boyfriend onto his stomach and straddled his hips. Suowei barely had time to catch his breath before Cheng was yanking the shirt off of his torso. He tried to push himself up but a firm hand shoved his chest back to the mattress.
“Be good for me, husband.” Cheng whispered into his ear.
Suowei got it, he understood now, he knew why Chi Cheng had been so eager to hear him say it. His insides felt like jelly and he gripped the sheets in both hands, ready and excited for what his boyfriend was going to do to him.
Well… almost ready; because he couldn’t say he wasn't surprised when Cheng actually gave him a massage. A very good massage at that, thorough but not perverted. Cheng's capable hands undid several knots he didn't even know he had. By the end he felt boneless and kind of fuzzy in the brain.
Cheng had kissed the back of his neck before moving off of him. He left Suowei to bask as he went back to his phone. Once Suowei recovered, he pounced on Cheng and rode him until Chengyu called to berate them for being late to a double date.
The term of endearment started getting used more. It didn't always lead to sex, though often it did, so that helped for it to be more casual.
Suowei used it to get Cheng to tie his shoe for him, to do the laundry even though it wasn't his turn, to grab something off the top shelf at the store; that one led to Suowei getting railed in the back seat of the car, much to Gangzi's annoyance. As well as so many other little times that neither of them were keeping track of.
There was still a heat though. Part of them wondered if using it more would lessen the impact, that Cheng would become less affected to it over time, that worry proved time and time again to be unfounded. Cheng still felt a fire go through him when Suowei said it, and Suowei still like like he had pop rocks in his body when it slipped across Cheng's strong lips.
Chengyu groaned for the fifth time, pointedly looking at his watch.
“Some of us are hungry, can't you finish that when we're done eating?” He asked.
“I'm almost done, I don't want to have to come back until tomorrow.” Suowei said without looking away from his computer where he was quickly typing.
Xiao Shuai was proud of his friend, he had seen with the snakes how business headed he could be, but it still filled him with pride how serious and confident he could be. He reached out to rub Chengyu's back to soothe him. Cheng just laughed over at his friend. He was sitting on the side piece of the desk, watching his boyfriend. He also felt pride but his had an undercurrent of arousal at how hot Suowei was when he was in business mode.
The phone began ringing but Suowei kept typing.
“Husband, can you answer that?” He asked without thinking.
Cheng nodded as if everything was normal, he hopped off of the desk and answered, talking professionally to the caller. Chengyu and Xiao Shuai looked at each other in amusement, not having heard them using that before.
Cheng finished his call at the same time Suowei submitted the report he had been working on.
“All done.” He beamed.
Cheng stared at Suowei with heat in his eyes.
“Get out.” He commented, glancing at his friend only long enough to make it clear who he was talking to.
Chengyu huffed but saw his friend start to unbutton his shirt. He rolled his eyes as he stood up.
“What? We have dinner plans. Why are we leaving?” Xiao Shuai asked as Chengyu tried to lead him out.
“Because I want to fuck my husband until he can't remember his name.” Cheng stated easily.
That made Suowei blush and start to chastised him, though they could see his hands starting to unbutton his own shirt from the bottom.
“I thought we were getting dinner.” Xiao Shuai huffed with a small pout as he was guided out of the office.
“I'll still take you, baby.” Chengyu promised.
He closed the door to the office just as Cheng hauled Suowei out of his chair and bent him over the desk. They were about halfway down the hall when they heard Suowei shout “husband!”.
Chengyu rolled his eyes and Xiao Shuai blushed, but then they looked at each other and dissolved into a fit of laughter. Only their overdramatic friends could make this big of a thing out of a simple word.
At least they were happy though, they supposed that was all that mattered.
