Its the day of the festival.
Everyone is having fun with their friends and families eating good food playing games, its a perfect day and a breath of fresh air for what happened yesterday in the church.
But Kris isnt feeling that well, they havent been feeling that well since when it all started.
The thought of going out with Noelle greatly terrifies them from what happened yesterday, what is the next step gonna be? Are they gonna kill everyone? Is that it?
Many thoughts linger in Kris' head as they wander around aimlessly biting their fingernails to cope with the situation, just then they hear a familiar touch in the back of their shoulder and it cried out to them.
"Hey Kris?"
They turn around to see Susie behind them, with... a noticable change in her appearance, she had tied her hair in her back, she is now wearing a different purple jacket, and she smells different than what she used to, clearly trying to prepare for the fest.
"I finally found you dude, I was looking everywhere for you"
Now that they think about it, Kris havent even thought about what will happen to Susie after all of this, they were so hyper focused on Noelle that they forgot about everyone including her, they are just becoming like her and it tied a knot to Kris' stomach sickening them.
But despite being relieved and having a bit of comfort with her presence,
They turn around to face her away clearly not wanting to get involved in all of this, Kris wants a way of out of this but they dont want Susie to get in the crossfire or is it because she might hurt them if she knew the truth, it doesnt matter right now.
"Uhh, Dude you okay?"
"I know there's a lot of people in here but this is the festival you know-"
Susie tried to reassure them thinking they were just probably introverted but she quickly notices that something other than that is making Kris really worried and scared.
"Kris, is there something wrong?"
Kris wouldnt answer a thing and just kept looking at the floor beneath them.
"Kris, I'm not stupid I know there is something wrong, just tell me about it."
Kris still wouldnt respond
Susie scratches the back of her head as she continues on
"Look man, you've been weird since then, I mean I know youre a total weirdo but this? You're clearly not okay,"
Susie puts her hand on their cheek and lifts their face up to look at her
"If you wanna get something of your chest, just tell me something."
Kris wont respond but that guilt building up in their stomach makes them want to vomit it all out violently right now.
But they had to do something, they couldnt just stand around and wait for something to happen, everything feels hopeless, so if its really the end then they might as well get it.
"Somewhere hidden?" Susie replied to Kris
"Okay I'll follow suit"
They lead her into somewhere particularly hidden, where people wouldnt gather as much and no one would hear them.
"So like, what's the deal-"
Suddenly Kris wraps their arms around her and they buried their face on her body, Susie jumped out of suprise and calmed herself down once she heard crying and tears soaking her shirt. She patted them on the back with her other hand petting their head trying to comfort them.
"Hey dude, its going to be okay"
"Im scared" Kris said with a strained voice
"I dont know what to do" they continued
Susie doesnt know what is happening or what their deal is right now, but she probably figured that it was related to the prophecy. She hugged them tighter before Kris slowly pulled her away breaking the hug.
With tears running down from their face they spoke,
"Susie im sorry, Im really sorry"
"Hey man take it easy, its going to be okay"
"If its that hard to get out, you dont have to tell me, Ill be here for you man."
As Kris wiped their tears off, they glared at Susie's eyes, they wanted to take THAT chance, if this world is going to end then they atleast gonna get something with it.
Kris puts their hand on Susie's snout and begins to stare at her with a serious look but turning red at the same time, Susie flustered by the gesture turned pink slightly, before slowly connecting their lips with hers.
Susie never couldve expect this, but she didn't pull away instead they let her take it in, she opened her mouth letting their tongue explore her mouth, her hands and her fingers moving through their head, and how they never seem to let go its all making Susie crazy, with Kris they feel safe like all of the horrible things that have happened, never did no prophecy no snow no nothing, its just the both of them, never want to let go they wish that it stays forever.
"ACGHHK"
A sudden pain from Kris' chest jolsted them out of the kiss
"Kris!?"
"Kris?"
When Kris heard that, that voice everything that they thought of earlier, that comfort were wiped away like it never existed at all
Both Susie and Kris looked to their side to find Noelle just standing there looking oddly creepy, before Susie could even respond
"Kris its time to go, we have other stuff to do remember?"
Kris let go of off Susie before returning to their usual posture the one where they were always looked like a robot, as they were about to leave the area, they turned around to see Susie, looking a little down, Kris felt sick to their stomach as they walk away with Noelle at their hand
"...Have fun Kris."
Susie murmured
