Chapter 1: a fortuitous meeting under the moonlight

Chapter Text

Next time…I’ll remember to rob you down to your underwear, Tsarista”

Nod-Krai was unlike any other region in Teyvat.

Natlan’s tribes shared a visible connection despite the vastly different terrains where they were located and Chenyu Vale retained a distinctly liyuan taste noticeable in its architecture and traditions.

On the other hand, it was hard to fathom how Nod-Krai factions could be so intertwined with each other and yet look nothing alike.

Paha Isle showed the irrefutable mark of the Fatui, which made it remarkably easy to infiltrate for Yelan. Secure in their manpower and resources, it seemed that they hadn’t realised how vulnerable their defences truly were. Or maybe the Marionette hadn’t been overly concerned with security matters, too taken by her feverish machinations and delusions.

Either way, it had all made Yelan’s mission a breeze. The colossal steel structure had provided her with enough blind spots, ventilation conducts and hiding crooks to bypass the guards easily and get her hand on some delectable top-grade secret documents.

So easy ,in fact, that Yelan would almost describe it as agonisingly boring. That was, until the time of departure arrived. Boarding the ship and hiding in the engine room had only taken so much effort. Nowhere in the documents that Yelan had diligently gone through was there any mention of the kuuvahki powered motors.

Excessive exposure to this primordial power was known to weaken the body and dull the senses, and a prolonged over-exposure had induced some poor victims into comas. These dangerous aspects were what drew just about every intel organisation in Teyvat to grasp at every peep of information that escaped the Bureau’s thick walls.

That was the reason Yelan had come in person to Nod-Krai to deal with such a delicate operation. And she would have succeeded, if not for this inevitable misstep.

The kuuvahki’s effect wasn’t immediate, rather acting like the nauseatingly sweet incense that Yelan had gotten familiar with in the various casinos she frequented. A gentle pulsating sensation had started spreading across her body, that almost lulled her into a nap. Soon, it turned into an insistent nagging that prickled her skin.

By the time she finally recognised the archaic power that was emanating from the motor container, her head was torn by an acute headache and her vision doubled.

When the ship had docked at the small Faui port at the north of Hiisi Island, Yelan wasted no time in rushing out of the compartment and disarming the soldiers that she found on her way.

That, unfortunately, was not the end of it. The operation on the island had been intended to be discreet, as was made obvious by the small size of the troupe. Yelan knew that fireblade trooper and a hailstorm cannoneer had been set to direct the group and had fully intended on avoiding a direct conflict with them.

Her plan flew out the window the moment she had to rush out of the ship onto the ground - how she’d missed standing on stable footing -, and encountered those very same soldiers.

“Damn it”

Her energy reserves already low and body still pained by the exposure to kuuvahki, Yelan had no choice but to force her hand and brutally finish off the two officers. Not her usual style, but she hadn’t been left with other options.

Worst of all, the blood had splattered on the trail of her dress, standing out horribly against the blue of the silk.

Ugh, this better pay off the cleaning fees

At the very least she had gotten out of the fight with only a burn on her calf and what seemed to be a superficial frostbite on her right shoulder.

With a grunt, she stepped forward. Adrenaline had carried her to traverse the sandy beach and climb the cliff that overlooked the ocean. Just as the first frostlamp flower grazed her ankle and the Moon Goddess’ statue came into view, her vision started doubling and the splitting headache came back in full force.

Yelan had never stepped foot on the island, never had a reason to. But the glistening light of the moonfall seemed to reflect the stars shining more brightly than even the xiao lanterns that children released on the eve of Lantern Rite festival. The light was twinkling strongly by the minute, blinding her vision.

What a dazzling sight, have the Frostmoon Scions stolen the stars from the sky?

The stars were, indeed, still in the sky, as Yelan soon found out when her strength finally gave out and she fell to the ground.

“Mmh”

Yelan loved sleeping. Not many would know of her love for napping, what with her usually vigilant appearance. But Yelan knew that an attentive mind required ample amounts of sleep, which she gratuitously indulged in.

Her favourite cushions came from the Tsarista’s exclusive order that Yelan had managed to snatch while the convoy was attempting to pass through the Fontaine. A collaboration with the Garde had left her with plenty of intel and a mountain of cushions filled with darkwing geese plumes. Truly a successful collaboration.

Yelan almost felt bad for depriving the Tsarista of such a premium experience.

However, whatever surface her head was laying on at the moment could rival even the softest of the pillows in her collection. Yelan couldn’t help rolling her head to nuzzle in the warm plush that seemed to surround her.

“Mmh mmh” more relaxed mumblings escaped her throat.

The nimble fingers that patted the side of her head were making Yelan consider extending her nap.

Just five more minutes

Wait…

..Fingers?!

The realisation jolted her awake, torso snapping forward in an attempt to reach a seated position.

Attempt that was proven futile when her forehead colluded with a soft mass that bounced her back.

“Oh” The little surprised sound was emitted by whoever was cradling her head.

Yelan finally snapped her eyes open. Memories rushed to her and her consciousness finally took notice of all the aches in her body. The splitting headache had subdued, but her temples still throbbed painfully.

All of her aches seemed to disappear when she finally saw her companion.

Could it be? “Am I dead?”

Did the Archons recognise her hard work and decided to reward her?

Such a mesmerising creature couldn’t have been anything but a seele, about to guide her soul into heaven. Or hell, Yelan wouldn’t oppose it if this was her ride.

The woman had slightly downturned eyes, her delicate lips stretched into a caring smile. She donned such a motherly and compassionate expression. Her soft hair hair fell on her face and spilled over the ample and barely covered by her tunic - could this seriously be considered clothing? The outline of the woman’s large nipples was easily noticeable through the material.

I thought I had a preference for white hair, Yelan reflected very cunningly.

But maybe her preference just lied in big breasts. Hearts! Big hearts. The lady donned such a soft expression that it could rival the softness of her thighs.

Thighs on which she was still currently laying on. Glancing to the side, Yelan saw a plush tummy. It seemed she the soft warmth she nuzzled in was the woman’s stomach.

Noticing Yelan’s confusion, the woman stopped petting her hair and gently cupped the side of her head directing her wandering gaze to her face. It was a bit difficult to stay focused on it while laying on her thighs, as the massive breasts were in direct sight.

“I’m relieved to see that you’re awake” said the stranger “Please close your eyes, you need rest to recuperate”.

“Who are you? How did you find me?” Yelan didn’t remembered seeing any sign of the Frostmoon Enclave before passing out.

“Apologies for my rudness. My name is Lauma, I am the Moonchanter of the Frostmoon Scions” Lauma bowed her head in a nod, a soft jingle accompanying the movement “Don’t be afraid, you are no longer lost. The animals alerted me that someone had fallen ill along the cliff and I came to bring aid”.

Of course, the animals alerted her. Yelan closed her eyes and smiled softly. She had truly lost it.

Noticing her silence, Lauma continued. “You seem to carry the signs of over exposure to kuuvahki, it is by the Moon Goddess’ blessing that the animals found you before it could worsen”

Her thumb started gently caressing Yelan’s eyelids. “My constitution allows me to bring slight relief to those affected by kuuvahki, but we will need to reach the enclave so I can administer a more effective medication”.

Lauma’s gentle pets and soft voice were lulling her into another nap. Frowning slightly to regain her focus, Yelan responded “Thank you for your help”

“Please don’t mention it, as the Moonchanter it is my duty to relieve the pain of those who suffer under the moon’s light” Lauma replied, stopping her petting and moving her hand to cup Yelan’s face once more.

Huh, she certainly is very devoted

“I’m afraid I’m not in the condition of walking right now” admitted Yelan, mourning the loss of the caresses. She opened her eyes to gaze up to the other woman.

With a delicate giggle that caused her breasts to quiver lightly - Yelan swore she wasn’t trying to be a pervert, it was just that they were right there in front of her eyes - Lauma said “I wouldn’t let you strain yourself even if your body was able to withstand it. With the moon blessing, I’m able turn into a…more suitable form that would allow me to reach the enclave in minutes while carrying you”

Oh

“Naturally, if you’re not comfortable with such predicament, we can keep resting in the soft grass. The moon is shining bright and the animals have assured me that the night will be serene, so we can wait until you recover enough strength” concluded Lauma.

“I’d never oppose to being carried by a beautiful woman” replied Yelan with a cocky smile.

Lauma’s expression showed her slight embarrassment, her lips falling into an O-shape and a bright flush scattering on her cheeks. Her shyness only lasted a few second and, with a humorous huff, she smiled softly again.

She slid her hand away from where it was resting on Yelan’s face and under the bent of her knee. With a gentle push, Lauma lifted up from her kneeling position.

“Please hold onto me, I’ll get us to the infirmary as quickly as possible” and with this warning, her body rushed forward and got enveloped in a shimmering power. Before Yelan could inspect it, the luminescence faded away and revealed a centauric body. The hooves propelled them to traverse the terrain in languid jumps that didn’t make a single sound at impact with the ground.

That explains the antlers

Yelan had heard of the Frostmoon Scions and of their Maiden, blessed by the moonlight. Because of unknown interferences, intel on the evasive tribe was hard to get. Even after the Sangemah Bay had stationed herself in Nasha Town, she hadn’t flaunted any exclusive secret on the market.

The Qixing had never concerned itself with it, and Yelan had never gotten out of her way to expand her web on the small island. After all, if ever she needed information on the scions, she had no doubt that a certain Curatorium would be willing to share - for a high price, of course.

Yelan had a feeling that they’d been involved in maintaining secrecy over the tribe, but she had no intent of accusing a trusted partner.

Regardless, her head was still pounding and she had bigger worries at the moment that gathering intel. Much bigger. Quite massive and soft, pushed right in her face, jiggling with every jump. She found herself nosing the side of Lauma’s breast, locked in that position by the arm that was supporting her head.

The woman’s heavy chest was almost spilling over her dress. Her nipple, soft and yet protruding from the fabric was poking Yelan’s face. Not that Yelan wanted to complain. Lauma had showed nothing but kindness for her.

And honestly, if anything, Yelan would have loved to open her mouth and suckle on the nipple. Pinching the other one, sliding a hand under the flap of the tunic and fiddle the soft tummy rolls that she’d seen when Lauma was kneeling.

But even with all the compassion that the woman excluded, Yelan doubted that she would respond favourably to such advances. Maybe she’d drop her mid jump, scandalised. And then she’d fret over Yelan, wearing a conflicted expression, torn between embarrassment and guilt. Bending on top of Yelan to check for any injuries, unaware of the eyeful she’d give-

Closing her eyes once again, Yelan put a stop to that line of thoughts. Her fall must have given her a concussion and awakened the part of her brain that she usually only reserved to her midnight randavousuz between the legs of her companions.

Wiggling in the woman’s hold, Yelan managed to angle herself towards Lauma, slipping one arm around her waist and the other one between her breasts and around her neck.

She was the one who told me to hold on tight

And with that, Yelan let her consciousness slip in a slumber, lulled by the jingle of Lauma’s charms and her calming scent.

True to her words, Lauma reached the enclave within an hour. Her galloping hooves rustled through the grass without a sound, the occasional nocturnal animal chirping or squeaking in recognition.

Yelan was barely awake when she was deposited on a bed. Lauma then undid the ties of her shoes and laid a warm cover over her. Tiredness had caught up to Yelan, so she could only mutter a whispered “Thank you”, before sleep claimed her.

Birds chirping and bright strings of sunshine filtered by fluttering curtains woke Yelan up the following morning.

Her muscles ached from the strain of the battle, and her shoulder and calf seemed to have been carefully wrapped, easing the pain into an annoying sting. The headache, on the other hand, had returned in full force and her temples were pounding relentlessly.

Slipping out of the covers, Yelan eased herself into a sitting position.

Just as she was bringing her hand to cradle her head, the entrance flap was pulled aside and in came Lauma. She was carrying a basket filled with all fruits, a jar of water and what seemed to be a roll of bandages. In her right hand, a small flask containing a fluorescent liquid.

“Good morning, I hope you had a peaceful rest” she said with a soft voice “The birds informed me that you had woken up. I have brought you some simple food, it would be best to avoid upsetting your stomach at the moment”.

As Lauma bent down to place her offerings on the small table by the bed, Yelan couldn’t help but give a more through look at her body. The events of the night prior had made it hard to notice her amazonian build, height accentuated even more by the shimmering antlers, and her shapely figure barely covered by her tunic. Was she immune to the cold?

Just as she’d…keenly taken notice the prior night, Lauma’s breasts laid heavy and full. In the bent position she was in, it seemed a miracle that they hadn’t spilled out of the clothing. The metal straps at her side were tightly secured around her thighs, fat spilling over the bands. The long, voluminous legs were partially covered by her tunic, but revealed the pale skin at Lauma’s every step. A mischievous treachery that was made all the more scandalous by the woman’s innocent eyes.

Eyes that were very much looking at her. Oops.

Yelan stilled her wandering eyes and replied “Good morning Lauma. I must thank you again for you aid” Reaching over to the platter, Yelan grabbed the jug of water and started drinking. She hadn’t realised just how thirsty she was.

“Please, there is no need for gratitude. Every wandering soul that ends up on Hiisi Island is a welcomed by the Frostoom Scions. It is only my duty to ensure your safety, dear guest”

“Yelan. You can call me Yelan”, she had no reason to hide her identity.

“Very well, lady Yelan” picking up the small vial, Lauma offered it to her “Please drink this, it will help you getting rid of the ailment caused by the kuuvahki”.

With a nod, Yelan unscrewed the cork and threw her head back to down the liquid in one gulp. The concoction was flavourless with only an underlying metallic aftertaste. Yelan had definitely had worse. Immediately, her pounding headache subdued

“What’s in this?”

“I’m afraid that is a tribe secret. But you can rest assured that it has no harmful side effects”

Lauma motioned once more to the platter resting on the cabinet. “Please, accept this food. The weasels and puffins helped me pick the sweetest fruits”

“I’ll dig in then” Yelan didn’t need to be told twice, her stomach growling at the prospect of food. Her reply earned her a delighted smile from Lauma “I’ll be replacing your bandages while you eat”.

Yelan grabbed the first fruit she could reach out of the pile on the platter. It was a large white berry, sectioned in five large cloves. Biting into it revealed a plum texture and refreshing sweetness. “Your friends really know their picks. Give them my regards” she exclaimed, scarfing down the fruit in few bites and reaching out to an orange berry next.

Lauma giggled softly from the end of the bed where she was busy unravelling the wrap of bandages. “I will be sure to refer your compliments to them”

Scooting closer to Yelan, Lauma started picking apart the medication on her shoulder. The frostbite caused by the cannoneer had only left a blister on her skin. Since the wound didn’t need dressing, Lauma pushed aside the bandages and gently grazed the blister with her fingers. “I will help speed the healing process up” as she spoke, Yelan could feel a mass of dendro energy gathering where Lauma was touching her skin.

“You’re certainly a woman of many talents, esteemed maiden” Yelan teased her “Talking to animals, these shiny antlers of yours and now I find out you can also heal? Princess might be a more appropriate title” Munching on another white berry, Yelan glanced at Lauma with a grin.

Predictably, the woman donned a rosy flush on her cheeks “You need not flatter me, lady Yelan”.

“This is far from flattery. I shudder to imagine what would have been of me if you hadn’t found me” she emphasised her words by pretending to tremble in fear.

“It is a relief as great for me as it is for you that the moonlight guided me to your aid in time” Lauma had finished healing the blister, now only a faint mark on Yelan’s skin.

She grabbed the bandages once more and slid to the ground, kneeling down in front of Yelan. She then started unwrapping the dressing on her calf.

“And your animals” the comment earned her an amused huff.

“Yes, we must be most grateful for my animal companions as well”

The wound on her calf gave a much less positive prospect that the one on her shoulder had. In a fluid movement, Lauma extended her hand towards the bottom compartment of the cabinet.

Only then did Yelan notice the bandages wrapped around Lauma’s wrist. Weird, those weren’t there yesterday. Had something happened?

After rummaging briefly, Lauma fished out a medium-sized vial. “It seems that unfortunately this wound runs deeper that the frostbite. I can still sense a mildl pyro aura around it, so I won’t be able to use my healing”.

When she unscrew the cap, the vial revealed a bitter-smelling pomade “The solution might sting, please bare with me”.

Although her movements were light and careful, the burn did inevitably hurt. However, Yelan couldn’t have been less concerned with it. After she’d sufficiently feasted on the plate, she’d leaned back on her arms.

Glancing down at the woman between her legs, her full attention was again captured by her big -enormous really -, beautifully plush chest. Her elevated position allowed her a full view of Lauma’s cleavage, the way her breasts seemed to spill out of the top. They moved with her every breath, drawing hypnotising figures that were enough to fool their foolish preys.

Just a bit more below, her thighs offered an equally inviting feast for the eyes. The pudgy fat was accentuated by her position. Spread out like that, they engulfed fully the front flap of Lauma’s dress, which could only salvage her modesty by covering her most intimate bits.

Yelan was aware of possessing a sharp mind, but even she couldn’t help but fall victim to the luring sight.

Lauma, fully unaware of her tantalising effect, adjusted her position by bending forward more to reach the backside of Yelan’s calf. By doing so, she grazed her tits against her naked leg. Simultaneously, her fingers spread the pomade over the most painful area of the burn. Yelan let out a pained moan and threw her head back, fully supporting herself with her arms.

Right in that instance, the flap at the entrance was drawn back as two young women barged in.

“Lady Lauma, this guest has been nagging everyone to see y-“

“That is not true, I was sent here on request of-“

Startled by sudden intrusion, Lauma lost her balance and fell forward. In doing so, she ended up planting her face right between Yelan’s legs.

“…”

“…”

Yelan exhaled slowly through her nose. She could feel Lauma’s hot breath grazing at her inner thigh.

“Lady Moonchanter, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t aware you were having an intimate affair with out guest!”

“Miss Yelan how could you do this Boss Nefer! If she finds out - No, when! When she finds out, it’ll be the end for me!”

“I swear this girl was the one who insisted to come in”

Lauma rushed to straighten out of the compromising position. She was fully flushed, painting her cheeks and neck in a pretty rosy shade.

“How many times do I have to tell you? I was sent here for a commission of extreme importance!”

“And I’m sure your comission could have waited a few more min-“

“Vilemina, Jahoda”

The two girls stopped their bickering and stilled at Lauma’s voiced. In the brief period since she’d met her, Yelan had never heard her use such a firm tone.

“Please step outside while I finish caring for our guest”

Without uttering a sound, the two scurried out of the room. As soon as they stepped outside, their voices immediately ringed even louder than before as the two continued their discussion.

“This is all your fault! I told you to wait outside! How will I face the Lady Moonchanter now?”

“You’re worried about that? Do you know what Boss is going to do to me when she finds out?!”

Ahem

Pointedly ignoring everything, Lauma let out a choked sound. “I apologise. Please forget everything that just happened”

“A beautiful woman eager to dive between my legs is hardly an a memory I would want to erase” teased Yelan.

“I shall pretend that I haven’t heard anything”

With a chuckle, Yelan granted Lauma the silence she needed.

Continuing her gazing, she inevitably noticed that Lauma’s flush had spread down to her check, painting her bosom in an inviting red.

How adorable

Lauma rushed to finish dressing the wound and Yelan granted her the silence she clearly needed.

When she finally got up from her kneeling position, she gathered the bandages and collected the, now, empty basket. Yelan had never been particularly fond of raw fruits, but the soil in Hiisi Island must have been the most fertile in Teyvat, because she’d emptied the platter.

“I’ll leave you to recuperate, don’t hesitate to come find me if you need of anything”

And with that, Lauma quickly took her leave before Yelan could reply.

Huh, the woman was well-endowed in the back too. How did she acquire that build eating only fruits and vegetables?

After Lauma left, Yelan sprawled back on the bed until the light filtered by the curtains turned orange. She lazily played with her dice, rolling in between her fingers, tossing it up in the air and catching it before it could fall on the bed.

Only the occasional chirp and squeak broke the silence in the enclave. The concoction that Lauma had made her drink worked miraculously, quelling her headache, but Yelan could feel its effect starting to wean off.

Before long, Yelan grew bored and finally decided to push herself off the bed. Stretching her arms above her head, she tentatively shifted the weight on her legs. The burn still felt raw, but the pomade numbed the sensation.

Pushing the entrance flap, Yelan finally got a glimpse of the Frostmooon Scions enclosure. The previous night she was barely concious enough to notice how the white marbe of the buildings reflected the light, appearing almost luminescent.

Few people seemed to be around and all the inhabitants saluted her with kind smiles. An old woman with thick braids and wrinkles adorning her smile pointed her in the direction of what seemed like an old library.

Seated at one of the tables was Lauma. She was slumped over the desk, her arms cushioning her head. From what Yelan could see of her face, her expression was peaceful, but a slight grimace marked her face anytime her antlers would rob on the wood of the table.

A small orange cat decided that would be the best moment to jump on the table.

“Oh!” The sudden noise startled Lauma, who jumped up in her seat. With drowsy eyes, Lauma noticed Yelan standing nearby.

“My apologies, it seems I have dozed off” Lauma tried to hide her yawn with her hand “Are you hungry? I can fetch you an early dinner or a snack”.

“Not at all. I merely grew bored of lazing off”

Meow

The cat reclaimed their attention by rolling on the table and exposing its soft belly. Leniently, Lauma lifted her hand to pet the orange fur. “Yes, yes, I have seen you there, little one. You have my thanks for waking me up”.

Lauma turned her attention back to Yelan, “Shall I entertain you with a chat to stave off any boredom? I’m afraid the enclave is quite lacking in terms of excitment”.

“There is no need to sell yourself short” replied Yelan. She moved next to Lauma and leaned against the table.

“Huh?”

“I consider myself a quite experienced traveler, and yet it is my first time meeting someone who has this kind of power”

“He he,” Lauma chuckled demurely “Since before the fall of the Three Moon Maidens, my people share a particular affinity with the moon and the nature in Nod-Krai. It is why we share certain traits with the other animals on Hiisi Island”. She gestured at the antlers on her head.

“Since I was a child, I have shown greater affinity than most to the tides of the moon. It is one of the reasons that allowed me to assume the role of Moonchanter.”

She turned back towards the kitten that was now curled up on a nearby chair “As for my ability to understand animals, it was also innate. I started understanding them before I could even comprehend the human language. It is a great honour to be entrusted with these creatures’ secrets and woes, but…” Lauma brought a hand to her chest, considering her words “…I often find myself spending the larger part of the day accompanied by their chatter. I must admit that it gets rather distracting at times”.

Yelan had no doubt that listening to animals bicker all day was a far bigger burden than Lauma was letting on. Her headache was already flaring up and tormenting her again. If she had to listen in on a discussion between puffins spouses, or the gossiping of neighbouring squirrels, she probably wouldn’t be reacting as calmly.

“As I imagined, you are a very intriguing woman” Yelan commented, bringing up a hand to flicker the charm dangling on one of Lauma’s antlers.

Lauma responsed by flushing beautifully. “I have to admit that your arrival has also sparked an interest in me.”

“Mmh, ask away. I’m at your disposal”

“I don’t want to impose, so rest assured that you can refuse to answer my questions. Any soul that wanders in the moon’s gleam is a welcome guest of ours” Lauma started off “However, I wanted to inquire on how you ended up…in your current condition”.

“You want to know if there are any threats on Hiisi Island”, summarised Yelan.

“I-“ Lauma wore a conflicted expression, “Yes, that is indeed the cause of my concern”.

Crossing her arms, Yelan briefly described how she’d ended up injured. She glassed over the reason why she was on Paha Isle or what she’d been doing it and Lauma graciously didn’t inquire. Lauma had seemed trustful enough for Yelan to reveal her name, but she still wouldn’t go blabbering about her mission to someone she’d just met.

“And that’s happened. Next time I opened my eyes, I was laying on a beautiful woman’s lap. Heh, I would almost say that I’m grateful to the Fatui.” Lauma’s blush intensified. How could Yelan resist teasing her, when her reactions made it so rewarding.

“Their actions have been intensifying progressively over the last months. The birds that fly over the northern coast often report seeing similar movements.” Lauma brought her hands in a praying position and lowered her head in consideration. “I’m afraid that if their intrusions continue, I will be forced to confront them again and convince them to cease their operations on the island”

“You’re aware that they won’t back off after a few kind words?”

“Then I am prepared to show them the Frostmoon Scions do not treat kindly those who have overstayed their welcome” replied Lauma, rising to her feet and meeting Yelan’s gaze with a determined expression.

“Ha, then I should keep this in mi-Argh!” Yelan suddenly felt her senses get overpowered by a surge of kuuvahki energy.

Losing her balance, she felt herself falling forward. Unable to get a grip on anything that could break her fall, she resigned herself to a nasty fall. However, instead of the hard rocky ground, she was met with a velvet-soft landing. Inhaling deeply, she smelled a sweet and warm scent and sensed a calming power that immediately quelled her pain. Weakened by the sudden assault of her senses, Yelan stilled in her current position.

Lauma’s breasts were every bit as soft as they looked at first glance. The warm, pudgy skin offered an optimal resting spot. Since the situation couldn’t get worse, Yelan decided to make the best of it. Pushing her face ever deeper in Lauma’s cleavage, she inhaled deeply. The tip of her nose was poking the fat masses, pushing and probing at the warmth.

Was she slobbering? Yelan really hoped she wasn’t.

She had indeed face planted into Lauma’s tits. So much for not overstepping her own stay. However, instead of pushing her away, Lauma gently cupped the back of her head and looped an arm around her waist to provide support.

“Don’t worry, this is a natural response. Your body is looking for an outlet that can absorb the excess kuuvahki. My body is able to act as a catalyst for such energy.” Oh, this was her body’s natural response absolutely, but Yelan wasn’t sure it had anything to do with kuuvahki.

“Yelan, do you think you’ll be able to walk?” Yelan responded with a nod, her face still deep in Lauma’s cleavage. Lauma shifted her hold to allow Yelan to lean on her from the side. They the started to move slowly in a different direction that the one Yelan had come from.

“Jahoda, one of the girls that barged into the infirmary earlier, had come to deliver you medicine.” Lauma spoke in a soft tone “However, it seems that she mixed it up with others in the apothecary in Nasha Town, so she ran back to collect the correct one. I can prepare the healing potion from scratch, but I have left some of the ingredients in my room.”

Lauma carefully lead Yelan in her chambers. Her accommodation was humble and simply decorated like everything else in the Frostmoon Enclave. Yelan got seated on a small sofa at the centre of the bed. Lauma picked a dark blanket that was laying on another sofa placed right in front of the one she was resting on.

She came closer to her, fixed the blanket so that it would cover her legs and said “Please, try to bare with the pain. I should not take me long”.

Yelan brought her hand up to massage her temples, a futile effort at easing the pain. Through her fingers, she could see Lauma rummaging through a cabinet.

The woman was trying to move discreetly, but Yelan was apt at reading people. The glinting reflection of a blade caught her eye, before Lauma turned her body fully hiding the cabinet. Lauma had shown nothing but genuine kindness since Yelan’s arrival. Nothing in her body language hinted at a malicious intent. For this reason, Yelan wasn’t on edge, but the other woman’s terse expression and body language revealed that she was trying to hide something.

“I need to use the instruments in that storage room” said Lauma, signing at a door at the opposite end of the room. To reach it, she had to pass in front of Yelan.

In that moment, Yelan noticed again the white bandages around her left wrist.

“If anything happens or the pain becomes unbearable, make sure to -!!”

The bandages that had appeared overnight. The secrecy around the remedy. The futile effort to hide the blade. Even someone who didn’t share Yelan’s experience and observation skills would have been able to connect the dots.

Just as Lauma was sliding in front of her to reach for the door, Yelan grabbed the bandaged wrist and tugged with all the strength she could master. Caught by surprise, Lauma had no time to react and fell over the sofa, sliding one of her knees between Yelan’s legs and caging her with her arms.

Her heaving chest was once again giving Yelan an eyeful, heavy breasts hanging close to her face. Still, she wore a serious expression and gave Lauma a sharp look.

“Wh-“

“How about you tell me what is in that incredible healing potion of yours?”

“I don’t believe this is the be - M-mmhh!” Yelan interrupted her by cruelly pressing her nails on the bandaged wrist. Lauma’s pained moan didn’t deter her from her inquiry. “Answer me”

“T-the potion is crafted by combining crushed Moonfall Silvers soaked in water blessed by the moon, charred Silver Fir wood and…“ Lauma wore a conflicted expression, but finally she admitted “..my blood”.

So it is as what she’d imagined. That explained the metallic taste of the mixture and the Lauma’s secrecy.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Yelan softened her gaze, while still maintaining her steel grip.

Lauma closed her eyes resignation, “Would you still have accepted to consume it, knowing its origin?”

“If this antidote requires your self-mutilation, I’d prefer enduring this pain” she answered honestly.

“It is exactly for this reason that I have never revealed this secret to anyone. Many wouldn’t be willing to consume it, wether out of horror or disgust for its origins”

“And you decided to endure it? Shoulder this responsibility all by yourself”

“It is my duty to share with humanity the blessings that the Moon granted me. If it requires me to slash my wrists and offer myself as a sacrificial lamb, I’m willing to do it for the rest of my life. Besides,” a warm smile found its way on Lauma’s face “a dear friend has been helping me develop an alternative cure.”

“The one who sent that girl?”

“Ah, you remember. Yes, she is the one that instructed Jahoda to deliver the medicine. Although I’m not sure how she got word that I was in need of it” reflected Lauma pensively.

Yelan had recognised the little assistant from the Curatorium. It seemed that her bothersome partner had her claws deeply lodged in the Frostmoon Scions’ affairs. No wonder that barely any information regarding it had made its way in the market.

A dear friend, huh? This ordeal is about to become much more interesting, she thought while barely containing a grin.

“How did you even find out about this remedy?”

“It has been a tightly held secret that has been passed down through countless generations of Moonchanters.” admitted Lauma “A child of the tribe has been suffering serious ailments because of her heightened sensitivity to kuuvahki. Despite all the efforts that the scions invested into finding a cure and the infinite prayers of the child’s mother to the Moon Goddess, we could not find anything that could alleviate her pain.”

Lauma left the rest unsaid, but Yelan could fill out how the story continued. “Is it only your blood that has these properties? Have you ever tested other fluids?” she asked.

“Other…fluids?”

Lauma brought her right hand to her chest pensively “Do you mean tears? I’m afraid that even if they shared the same properties, I wouldn’t be able to produce a large enough quantity.”

As much as a teary Lauma with red-rimmed eyes painted a delectable image, Yelan shook her head. Easing her hold on the wrist, she brought her hand up to cup Lauma’s face. She then pressed her thumb gently on her bottom lip, just enough to let the bottom teeth peek out.

Apparently Lauma’s resemblance to deers ran deeper than her antlers, judging from the lack of canines.

“Oh”

Wearing her most pitiful expression, Yelan looked up at Lauma through her lashes. “I don’t want to hurt you, but this pain is truly unbearable”

Lauma’s faced morphed into one of surprise and immediately a flush started spreading on her cheeks. “I…I’m not opposed to trying, if there is a chance that it may bring you any comfort”

She inhaled deeply, a light blush spreading on her cheeks.

“Please, take as much of me as you need” she said, opening her mouth and closing her eyes, fully offering herself to Yelan.

How had she not been already devoured by some hungry beast?

Moving her thumb to Lauma’s chin, she leaned in. She pulled her tongue out and lightly flickered the plush lip, before nibbling it.

Lauma gasped in surprise and, from the corner of her eye, Yelan could see her starting to tremble.

After biting her lip once more, she finally plunged into Lauma’s mouth and started licking the roof of her mouth. The heat made her instantly dizzy.

Tightening her grip on the woman’s chin, Yelan pushed aggressively their lips together and started tickling Lauma’s tongue until she timidly responded. Lauma tasted sweet, her mouth soft and inviting.

As their tongues intertwined, Yelan could feel wetness building up between her own legs. Not one to waste an opportunity, she looped an arm around Lauma’s waist and pushed her forward, forcing her to straddle her thighs.

Riding up the front flap on her dress, Yelan sneaked a hand over Lauma’s ass. Her other hand released her chin and finally, finally, grabbed one Lauma’s breasts, pushing it out of the dress’ neckline.

At first she just played with it, testing its softness and kneading the fat mass. Then, she slid her fingers to run over the large nipple that was starting to harden. With barely any strength, she pinched it extorting a moan out of Lauma. Her other hand was doing the same thing to the soft ass, gripping it thigh enough that marks were sure to appear.

She continued to pinch and prob until Lauma was a moaning, shaking mess. Lauma, on her part, had been progressively more desperate and needy.

She had sneaked her arms around Yelan’s neck and deepened the kiss. She then started to suck on Yelan’s tongue propelling her to dive more into her mouth.

Yelan was starting to feel light-headed from the lack of air and she tried to break the kiss apart. However, Lauma seemed to be none the wise to this, refusing to let Yelan go. Anytime Yelan moved back, Lauma would follow, and any bite she imprinted on her lips just invigorated Lauma’s passion.

Yelan finally pinched on her nipple and pulled at it, forcing Lauma to break the kiss to release a moan that was in equal parts pained as it was ecstatic. As she threw her head back, a string of saliva connected

“Someone’s desperate, heh?”, Yelan teased breathing heavily.Lauma was redder than she’d seen her to that point, the flush spread all over her face and cleavage standing out marvellously against her milky skin. Her eyes were half-lidded and pupils dilated enough to reduce the turquoise of her iris to a thin ring.

Ignoring Yelan’s words, she dived back into her lips, peppering them with soft, ticklish pecks.

“Please, don’t stop” she said with a breathy voice. She plastered herself against Yelan, squishing the hand holding her breast between their chests. By doing so, she also rested her full weight on Yelan thighs and tried to hump her crotch against them discreetly.

A bolt of excitement run through Yelan and she rushed to bite and kiss Lauma’s lips. She continued fiddling with her breasts and ass, alternating gentle caresses to playful tugs.

Pants and moans filled the room. Yelan moved her hand between Lauma’s thighs. She could feel her wetness through the black shorts. The fabric was tightly snugged to her skin and Yelan could feel the outline of her pussy.

Just as she was dragging her index finger between the lips, the flap at the entrance of the room was roughly pushed aside.

The orange sunset reflected against golden hair accessories making them glint of a red light.

Yelan opened her eyes and peered behind Lauma, who was still happily lapping at her mouth.

She couldn’t contain a grin as her gaze met a pair of green eyes, darkened by anger and illuminated by the dying rays of sunlight.

Nefer had finally arrived.

Notes:

Im genuinenly embarrassed after re-reading it, but I had to express my love for lauma. I went from finding her design nothing special to going feral anytime she's on screen.

Anyways, feedback is always welcome!! Im trying to improve so feel free to let me know any mistakes or things you notice.

Lastly, this first chapter was much more focused on yelan/lauma that I expected. Next chapter(s) the focus will be on nefer/lauma and have all the smut yall came here for
