Let me share my most unforgettable moment of my life. I am a big fan of Knights, a Japanese idol group consisting of five members. I personally love Arashi Narukami, the only girl in this group that is referred to by fans as Naru-chan , for her determination to love herself and her motivation towards her fans to love themselves. I, once the most miserable human being with no friends around, adored her as a result.
Around a year ago, on Sunday afternoon, I woke up late, thus I rushed to the kitchen, then opened my cabinet to check my instant ramen stock swiftly, and it turned out to be empty. Therefore, I rushed to the bathroom and took a bath. Then, I wore this yellow hoodie with black sweatpants. I took a walk because the store is not far from my apartment. When I took a walk, I felt my head spinning but I tried to forget that.
Then, I arrived at the store. That store is clean but it seems no one here except me, the cashier, and the mysterious human covered in all black. Then, I bought all the necessities I lacked, and I planned to eat an onigiri and drink a glass of tea here. But when I took out my purse to pay for my items, I fainted and I didn’t remember anything before I totally passed out except the cashier’s scream in panic and someone’s embrace to make me not fall on the ground.
When I woke up, I slowly opened my eyes, analyzed the room I was in and found out I was in a hospital. “Oh my, thank goodness! You’re awake.” Unexpectedly, I was not alone. I heard a gentle familiar sound beside me. With foggy eyes, I scanned that all black figure, but now the head isn’t covered with a hood. It revealed that the figure has short blond hair and purple eyes. “Wait… Is that…” I squinted, connecting to my sense of remembrance, and realization hit me that the figure is… “NARU-CHAN?!” Panicked, she shut my mouth with her pointed finger. “Shhh…Yes, it’s me,” she said softly, “You fainted at the convenience store, and I couldn’t just leave you there. The cashier and I got you an ambulance.”
Ahh…Is that a dream? That was what I was thinking to myself at that moment. “I-I… don’t know how I should say, but… thank you for everything. Thank you for your determination, thank you for your motivation, and… thank you for saving me…” As a response, she chuckled with sincere eyes.
And that’s how I met your mom for the first time, kiddo!
