Chapter Text
Chloe has always been a serious, introspective person, prone to analysis... and sometimes even overanalysis. The fact that her parents were so relaxed in attitude created in her a need to overcompensate, after all.
This very seriousness has defined her most of her life, with very punctual exceptions.
So if someone had told her when she was nineteen that she would end up becoming a cop and have for a partner none other than Satan himself, who happens to be the least serious person ever created, she would have scoffed and wondered what kind of engineering drug manufacturers employ to make people hallucinate weirder things every time.
And yet here she is... naked, no clothes, nada.
The reason? Lucifer convinced her with little effort to go to a paradisiacal beach called Isla Elixir, located in the Eastern Caribbean, at the edge of the Lesser Antilles. This Island, as can be guessed, is of the nudist type.
Few people are here at this time of year, so besides Lucifer who seems to be having the visual feast of his life watching her while sipping margaritas on a beach lounger, there are no more than a few dozen people.
How she ended up here is a funny story, Lucifer used his mojo thing that for some reason has started to work on her, -not that she's complaining, of course not, not at all, never, she's totally fine with it- so because of it, Lucifer was able to find out what forbidden desire she had that she couldn't bring herself to fulfill.
When she answered, the Devil cackled, since for him that's something very basic -of course it is-, and clearly she wasn't pleased that he made fun of her fantasies no matter how simple they may seem to him.
Anyway, Lucifer gave her a detailed explanation about the benefits of going to a nude beach, which surprisingly, are not about observing beautiful bodies everywhere, but about feeling at one with nature and the universe, accepting the body like something normal, leaving complexes behind and, best of all, feeling the sea breeze and the sun on the skin to the fullest.
The explanation was much more beautiful and poetic coming from his lips, with that eccentric accent of his.
Either way, she accepted Lucifer's challenge since Chloe is far from wanting to be labeled as a frigid, boring woman, and a part of her misses that mischievous, adventurous version of her youth, when responsibilities and adulthood hadn't yet taken that spark from her.
As soon as she told him to go ahead, Lucifer prepared everything and took her here.
And in the end, Lucifer was right.
Feeling the cool breeze of a sea with beautiful shades of blue, kissed in parts by the warm rays of the sun is undoubtedly one of the most satisfying and beautiful experiences Chloe has ever had.
Nature simply naked, merging with her own skin.
