February 14th 7:32am
It's cold out here, not cold enough to freeze the air but cold enough to chap the moistest of lips. Today is Valentine's Day, the day of love and cheap box chocolate. I rarely get any, so I don't care that much, to be honest. Speaking of Valentine's Day, I have to get Henry something. We always get each other something, it's nice. I think I might go to that old vintage store down the road, he likes stuff like that old stuff. I start walking to school with him at 8am, so we can talk on the way to school, so I gotta hurry to the store. Bye Diary.
7:51am
Hi, I'm back. I got Henry a cute black bear plush holding a heart. I think he'll really like it. I had to be sneaky when getting it because it's hard to hide in my jacket. I forgot to grab my backpack, so I had to make do, but that's okay. I don't think the owner saw me. I'm pretty sure he has eye problems, so the old guy could hardly see me anyway, so it is what it is. I also managed to get some chocolate from the corner store; I don't really have to steal from there. The owner is this middle-aged guy who says he likes my hair and stuff. I just have to talk to him or sometimes let him touch my hair and stuff, so I'd say I'm getting a pretty good deal! He doesn't even realize I'm only doing it to get free stuff! What a sucker.
Any-who i have to make Sadie breakfast since Sarah and Steve are passed out on the couch, i have to throw away their empty bear bottles because last time Sadie stepped on a glass shard and i tried to beg Sarah to get her bandages but i guess she was too drunk to even understand what i was saying because she just laughed and walked away so i had to get Sadie bandages from the corner store.
8:00am
Henry's outside, so I'm gonna grab my backpack, and I have to get Sadie. When Henry and I are walking, we take a detour to his house and drop Sadie off there because his mom takes care of her, and then drop her off at school at 9am. It's a pretty good system, I'd say. I'm glad it feels like she doesn't take pity on us like we are charity work; it's pretty nice.
