Chapter Text
Finally, the work day was over and gris was looking at events that were taking place over town. There were various posters for a variety of clubs and other activities. There was a nice pink flyer that stuck out to him though, it read "New restaurant open every Monday through Friday. Restaurant is called Little Town and is located on hilly billy road." Gris took the pink flyer and put it in his pocket. He hadn't been out to a restaurant in a while last time he had went to one was maybe 1 month ago? Two months ago? Doesn't matter because he was going to go to one now.
He headed over to the kitchen where follo and tomme sat. They were usually open schedule after work so he knew that they could come with him. He pulls up a chair with them and strikes up a conversation. After a while of talking he decides to bring up the pink flyer.
"Have you guys heard of this restaurant before? i was planning to go to it after everyone was done with their duties."
Tomme turns toward gris as he pulls out the pink flyer from his pocket.
"Ah no i've never heard of it before but it does sound interesting! id love to go with you but i made plans with a friend today."
She frowns a bit, then adds "i might be able to join you guys but I'll be late if thats okay?"
"Yeah thats totally fine!"
Gris replies with a little smile and thumbs up.
"how about you follo can you come?"
"No sorry the boss wants to talk with me later but save me some food!"
"Alright then! Tomme im gonna see if anyone from akuta wants to join us."
tomme smiles while gris shoves the pink flyer back in the pocket and goes to the dining hall.
In the dining hall you can find riyo, rudo and zanka talking. You can also find enjin who seems to be asleep on one of the tables drooling like a baby. "Did enjin fall asleep?" Gris asks the teenagers sitting across from him. Riyo turns around to see a very sleepy enjin.
"I didnt even notice. hes like dead asleep with his eyes open. creepy."
zanka looks towards enjin.
"does anyone know why he does that its freaking me out.."
"Hes like a zombie"
Riyo does a zombie like gesture while rudo slumps in his chair.
"Hey whats up with you rudo you look pretty tired?"
Rudo turns to gris and sighs.
"Amos been really busy with the boss so i havent got time to hang out with her..."
His mouth turns into a sharp frown after saying that. Gris pulls the pink flyer back out from his pocket.
"Me and tomme are going out to this new restaurant that opened nearby, you guys should come with us! Rudo this might lift your spirit!"
Riyo jumps out her seat.
"AHHH YES I WOULD LOVE TO GO! i havent been to a restaurant since monday!"
Makes sense that riyo would love to go to another restaurant, shes constantly eating out with jabber and other's. Her mission is to find the spiciest restaurant in town.
"Rudo you wanna come with us?"
"uhm sure! yeah."
Rudo gets up from his chair and tries to wake enjin from his deep sleep. He shakes him several times but he is still deep asleep. Riyo walks up to him and gives him a swift kick to the gut. A loud shriek comes from enjin as he is knocked out of his chair.
"AH WHAT THE HELL!"
"sorryyyyyy"
"why did you wake me up like that ow"
"trying to wake you up like a normal person didnt work so"
"so you kick me in the stomach at full speed?!"
"yeah"
Enjin groans has he collects himself off the floor.
"So why did you wake me?"
"Gris wants to go to a restaurant down town!"
Gris smiles as he hands the flyer to enjin. While enjin is looking over the information on the flyer gris turns to zanka. He seems to be looking away and bored.
"Zanka your coming with us right?"
Zanka looks up toward gris.
"Uh, yeah sure"
gris smiles and turns to enjin. He finally finished reading the letter and decides to go with them but he refuses to drive.
As everyone is getting ready to leave eisha walks out of one of the doors nearby catching riyos sight. Riyo walks over to the shy girl with grin on her face.
"Hey eisha! whatcha been up to!"
Eisha looks up to face the red haired girl that stood in front of her. She starts to twiddle her thumbs as she replies.
"Today i had to heal a guy who got all cut up...uh.. it was very gross."
Riyos face turns rather blank as she says that, her bluntness shocked her a bit but she didnt mind.
"Are you done with your duties today?"
"oh no not yet... i think theres a few other patients waiting.."
Riyo frowns a bit to find out that eisha cannot come but brightens back up with an idea.
"Aw that sucks because me and the rest of team akuta were going to this new restaurant down town!"
"oh no im sorry i wish i could join you guys but.."
Riyo's grin starts to grow as she speaks.
"Y'know if this restaurant is any good ill have to take you sometime, just the two of us."
Eisha's face turns red with blush as she listens to riyo's words. A date. Riyo has promised a date with her! Her face creates a wobbly smile.
"YES! yes ill.. its a uh its a date!"
Riyo's smiles very wide and blows a kiss to her as she exits the buliding. Riyo runs toward the car where everyone waited for her return. Zanka notices riyo beaming with joy.
"what happened?"
Riyo giggles a bit as she whispers what happened in zankas ear. Zankas eyes widen as he learns that riyo had finally asked out the girl she wanted. Zanka pats her back in pride that his encouragement to riyo had worked!
"Alright everyone in the car!"
