"De.......Izuku !!" Katsuki's face practically lit up, and a never seen before smile appeared.
His classmates never saw this side of him ever it was as if they had seen a completely new person altogether. They all were extremely shocked when Bakugo practically ran after a completely normal citizen, and they thought the guy had somehow offended Bakugo and he was going to curse him out.
Katsuki grabbed both of Izuku's hands. "I can't believe it's you."
Izuku slightly flinched at the sudden contact, and noticing that, Katsuki moved his hands back.
Izuku's face was in a long shocked expression, and after a few long seconds of Katsuki dreading his rushed actions...Izuku gave him a big smile. "Kacchan, how have you been?"
Seeing the smile on Izuku's face, Katsuki fell into his arms and practically sighed all his worries out.
Izuku still smiling, "Did you think I was still mad, Kacchan? All I ever wanted was to hear that from you."
Katsuki jolted up. "That's all? You don't hate me now, do you?"
Izuku chuckled softly. "Of course not I never hated you."
His classmates started to ponder who this random guy was whom they never saw Katsuki with... but they felt so familiar with each other. They had known that Katsuki was pining for someone and that he had a really sour relationship with him to the extent that he bullied him, as he had publicly admitted when he became No. 1 Hero. In his speech he apologized to him, saying that without him he doesn't understand himself anymore, and he admitted that he loved this guy and he taught him what a hero truly was, and he vowed to stop calling him Deku. They quickly realized this and made their way to him.
Katsuki overjoyed, "Then...can we try again...do I get another chance?" asked as innocent as a puppy
Katsuki was a few inches taller, and his build was quite muscular, but Izuku did not have a weak stature; you could see that he was in good shape and was quite physically strong.
Kirishima was the first to approach him. "Hello...uhh, mister, I should introduce myself, as you seem to be an acquaintance of Bakugo. I'm Pro hero Red Riot. Pleased to meet you! you are?"
Izuku and Katsuki both looked toward him; Izuku gave him a similar smile, and Katsuki had a contorted, almost angry expression but was subdued for some reason.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya. I'm currently a pro hero analyst at (undecided) agency. I work under the code name 'Deku,' so you can call me that, btw."
"CAN I GET YOUR AUTOGRAPH PLEASEE??" Izuku squealed as Katsuki practically growled like an angry dog...
"You're the famous Deku; you're the brilliant mind of the pro heroes at (undecided) agency ... you're practically more famous than some of us in the hero industry."
"Pro hero Analyst, oh do you have an analysis-based quirk? I heard it's really hard to get a job like that even with qualifications." Kiri asked out of curiosity.
Izuku's face still in that pleasant expression answered, "No, actually, I happen to be quirkless." Katsuki glared at Kirishima and had a glint of worry...
"Is he making you uncomfortable, Izuku?" Katsuki's sincerity shook Kirishima. "Oi, shitty hai..."
"No, I'm quite comfortable, Kachhan; it's fine." Izuku's expression was a soft mix of happiness and pride, his eyes relaxed as he muttered it to Katsuki in a soft voice.
The other joined in. "Omg, that's so brilliant!!" Ashido exclaimed, "That's legit cool, man." Kaminari also chimed in, "You got that job without a quirk; your IQ must be something else," said Sero.
"That's so manly," Kirishima practically yelled, and "You want my autograph? I should be the one getting your autograph."
Izuku's face blushed a shade of crimson...Katsuki was starting to fume with jealousy but also was internally very proud.
Todoroki walked toward Midoriya and greeted him with a slight smile. "How have you been doing, Midoriya?"
Katsuki looked in between them with a confused expression.
"You know Icy-Hot here?" Katsuki practically glared at him.
"Yeah, he was one of the main heroes in my agency that I was assigned to, and we became friends quickly," Izuku explained.
Katsuki couldn't help but feel uneasy with the way Todoroki looked at Izuku, but he realized that Izuku had no intention of reciprocation and Todoroki was probably just lamenting because he was dating Lida now, so maybe not.
"I didn't know you knew Bakugo," Todoroki questioned him.
"Yea, Kacchan and I have been close since...childhood." The pause stopped Katsuki's heart for the time.
