Chapter Text
“Sungjin-ah, can you meet me downstairs. Younghyun’s drunk and he doesn’t want to move.” An overly enthusiastic Younghyun can be heard in the background, “Where’s hyung-ie? I need Sungjin-hyung!” Another manager spoke up, placating him, “We’re calling him. He’s gonna come down soon.” “Younghyun-ie’s not moving unless its hyung-ie.” Their managers can only sigh at the bassist, “I know. I know.”
“See? He wants his hyung-ie,” their manager said defeatedly. “I’m coming down. Give me a second.” Sungjin did not bother changing into his outside clothes and quickly left their apartment to fetch Younghyun and save their managers from the menace that Younghyun is once intoxicated.
Sungjin did not have to look around as a high-pitched voice echoed through the parking lot, “Sungjin-ie hyung!!” Younghyun ran, as best as he could given his current state, to meet Sungjin and threw his body at him for a hug. Their managers ran after Younghyun, as if he was a child taking his first steps, afraid he’ll trip and hurt himself. “Awwww,” Younghyun exclaimed cutely, “Did you come down to fetch Younghyun-ie?” Younghyun pointed at himself and looked at Sungjin with the biggest smile. Sungjin freed one of his arm from the hug and tried to fix Younghyun’s unruly bangs, “Yeah. You look like you drank alot.” “Eung~!” Younghyun closed his eyes and nodded as he replied. Sungjin chuckled at Younghyun’s cuteness, “Did you have fun?” “Eung~!” “Are you ready to go up now?” Younghyun opened his eyes and smiled up at Sungjin, “Yes, Sungjin-ie hyung is taking me home now.”
“We’ll accompany you until upstairs, I’ll hold his things.” Sungjin nodded as he put Younghyun’s arm around his shoulder and grabbed one of his side, leaning Younghyun towards his right to help him walk. Younghyun stomped his feet, complaining. “Carry me! Hyung, carry me!” Their managers shook their heads but Sungjin just chuckled and nodded, “Get on my back.” “Yey!!!” Younghyun happily climbed on Sungjin’s back and nuzzled behind Sungjin’s neck. Sungjin firmly grabbed Younghyun’s thighs, “Hold on, okay.” “Yes, hyung-ie.”
When they reached the door to the apartment, their manager typed in the password and let them in. “Hyung, just leave his things on the table. Sorry for the trouble.” “Get him some water, okay. He really drank alot.” “How’s Dowoon?” “We’ve already dropped him off. He’s way better than that kid.” Their manager pointed at the lump on the sofa curling on itself. Sungjin clapped their manager at the back and bid them goodbye, “Thanks again, hyung.”
