[At Nomad Bar, the band Limp Bizkit is playing. There is a queue outside and Elene Khoshtaria rushes to the door, eyes bloodshot and watering, coughing furiously]
BOUNCER: ID, please
Elene: Bro, I'm 40!
BOUNCER: Or are you at least on the guest list for Metamorphosia's release party for "Thanks 4 Nothing"?
Elene: Yeah, I'm... uh... Dead Again Records.
BOUNCER: Not on the list *side eye*
Elene: Please, *cough* the police are after me! I was literally beaten up! [lowers scarf to reveal cuts on cheek and cut bottom lip]
BOUNCER: [wince] Looks painful. Btw, it's kinda hellish out late with the protests and whatnot.
Elene: *sigh* Or at least just let me in.
[the bouncer steps aside to let Elene in just as Metamorphosia began playing "Brutalised by Society". Elene limps in, smiling briefly to the bouncer]
Elene: Thanks [to barman] The usual, please! Saburtalopolitan with chilli chacha please!
