Chapter Text
You liked to distract Harvey when he was on the radio. With his headphones on and his face all screwed up in concentration it felt like he was off in another world. How could you not try to bring him back to earth, just a little bit?
You’d start small. Your lips on the back of his neck, where his skin was soft and smelled all clean and soapy. He’d shiver, but his focus stayed on the sky.
That was okay. You were patient. You’d hover behind him, notice the way he leaned back into you just a little bit, wait until he started to speak before running your hands up and down his sides. Was that a quiver in his voice? Maybe. Could be. Though maybe not. Those were definitely goosebumps on his neck, though.

He’d grow between your lips, a tiny pulse of his hips as he’d stutter out “sweetheart, you… oh fuck…” A hand on the dial, a hand on the back of your head, eyes still looking up. He was still searching, still looking, but that was okay. You could tell by his breathing, his sighs and his groans, and the gentle way his thumb slid down your cheek that everything he wanted was right down here on earth
