Fiyero was anything but a simple man. He did a lot of things that people scoffed at and others loved. He'd go to the Ozdust Ballroom every time there was a chance to party and get drunk out of his mind. So drunk that Galinda would hoist him to his room and throw him in bed.
Him and Galinda have been broken up for about a week. He didn't realise he was gay. Not until he was physically disgusted when Galinda took off her shirt. They broke up soon after, not that Galinda minded much. She admitted that she was kind of only with Fiyero to make Elphaba jealous.
Much to Fiyero's surprise (mostly because he was drunk), Galinda was always watching to see if Elphaba would come into the Ozdust Ballroom and see her dancing with Fiyero. Fiyero had realised he was doing something similar. Elphaba came occasionally to help Nessa, and the days Elphaba needed to study, Boq would help Nessa. He never watched for Boq, he never wanted Boq to get jealous, but he would always ask Boq for a dance as Galinda danced with Nessa. It always made him so happy to see Boq smile when Fiyero asked him to dance, even if Boq was a terrible dancer.
Fiyero and Galinda never announced they broke up. Nothing really changed between them anyway. They kissed a few times while dating, which made Fiyero dislike kissing because he'd always get the pink lipstick on his lips. They became overly touchy, hoping to catch the attention of their crushes. Elphaba didn't care and Boq looked away shyly when they did.
Fiyero was now plotting. Him and Galinda made a plan. A trip to the Emerald City. It was more for Fiyero and Boq since they weren't roommates, but Galinda now had the opportunity to spoil Elphaba with gifts.
