Clockwork is introduced to the rest of the admins, and Doombringer falls head over heels for them.

Notes:

Doomclock fluff- does this count as fluff? Idk, I'm new to posting my work.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Doombringer walked into the HQ he’d recently been hired at to meet the new admin. All he knew was that it was another robot made by Builderman. Roblox, the other robot admin, was already quite a character. It was always odd seeing robots being so expressive, as most people- including Doombringer- had always thought that robots were emotionless. Only made to help out Robloxians.

But, ever the engineer, Builderman was able to create souls using his power and place them into vessels. That was how Roblox had come into being, and now this new admin.

Doombringer walked through the spotless halls, going towards the elevator to get to the top of the HQ. The halls were filled with offices and windows on almost all walls that didn’t have an office. A sort of navy blue tile for the floor and gray, with a blueish tint, for the ceiling.

He eventually made it to the elevator, pressing the call button and waiting for the doors to open. The doors of the elevator slowly opened and Doombringer stepped in. The monotone music of the elevator filling the small space, which was quite claustrophobic for Doombringer- who stood at a staggering 6’6.

It took a few minutes for the elevator to reach the top of the HQ. The top was where the HQ’s main meeting room was, where all the people at the top went to for meetings. Builderman, Shedletsky, Brighteyes, Roblox, Dusekkar, Ellernate, Stickmasterluke, Sorcus, ReeseMcblox, Terabyte, and more. All the top dogs.

Doombringer had been the newest among all of them, until this new admin was made by Builderman. Doom hadn’t even heard this new admin’s name, so he was oblivious to anything about this admin.

He walked out into the meeting room, where the large table surrounded by chairs was. Everyone was sitting in their chairs, waiting for Builderman and the new admin to show up.

Shedletsky and Brighteyes were talking right next to Doombringer. Brighteyes said something like “What would you do if I died?” And Shedletky responded by saying “I’d kill every version of myself just to bring you back.”

Doombringer zoned out from there, bored as hell and doodling little creatures onto a sketchbook he always had with him. Eventually, Builderman walked in with the new admin following closely behind.

“Attention, everyone! I apologise for the wait, as I had to fix something before comin’ to this meeting.” Builderman announced as Roblox stood up to stand beside him. Those two were always so damn close. “But I’d like to introduce the new admin, Clockwork.” Builderman started, “We needed an Admin to handle all the glitches we’ve had with time and the day/night span, so I built Clockwork. They have a weapon called the Spear of Time. This spear can-” Builderman was cut off as Clockwork spoke in a soothing, yet flamboyant voice. “Don’t tell these guys. Let ‘em figure it out themselves, boss.”

Doombringer was instantly entranced by Clockwork’s voice. It was soothing and nice to his ears. The rest of the meeting was a blur to Doombringer, entranced by the words said by Clockwork throughout the meeting.

After the meeting, when it was time to go home, Doombringer approached Clockwork. “Hey, Clockwork right? Nice to meet you.” He said, extending his hand out to them.

That got a smile out of the android. “Nice to meet you too.” They said, twirling their spear around mindlessly. “What’s ‘cha name, hon?” They spoke so freely.

Doombringer felt his mind short circuit for a moment after the nickname “hon” came from their mouth. His face felt hot, but he attempted to compose himself. “Most call me Mr. Doombringer, but Doom works as well.” His voice was a lot softer than usual. Damnit, he was head over heels for this Robloxian.

Clockwork saw right through him, but didn’t say anything. “Nice to meet ‘cha. I’ll call you Doomz.” They chuckled softly. “You’re quite the beautiful man, ay, hon?” Now they were just trying their best to fluster him.

“Would you stop calling me that…” Doom grumbled, not meaning it in the slightest. He hoped his bucket hat would hide the pink dusting across his face. Head over heels for a damn robot.

“Nope!” Clockwork teased, a smile crossing their face. “It’s oddly appealing to see that blush on your face, to see someone so intimidating be so easily flustered.” Clockwork couldn’t deny that, if they were a normal Robloxian, they’d be blushing as well.

Damn lovebirds.

I’m pulling a gacha timeskip. A few weeks later.

Doombringer was walking towards Clockwork’s office, flowers hidden in his bag. Hell if he’d let anyone see him, of all people, with flowers. He knew the others were aware of how much he cared for Clockwork, but didn’t pay attention to it.

As much as he knew Clockwork reciprocated the feelings, he was still anxious as he walked through the same halls he walked every day. They’d added a few decorations over the weeks, but still the same tiles and ceiling. It took a bit of walking and a trip to the elevator to get to the next floor so he could find Clockwork’s office. Each person had a custom name plate on their door, and he quickly found Clockwork’s.

Doombringer knocked on the door lightly twice before walking in, smiling as he saw Clockwork sitting at their desk. “Hey’a, Clockz.” Both of them had matching nicknames for each other.

“What’s up, Doomz?” Clockwork smiled up at Doombringer, their face lighting up with delight as they looked at him. “You don’t have any bad news, right? Because I’d rather not deal with that at 7 in the morning, hon.” They laughed softly.

“No, no bad news. Well, depends on how you think of it, actually.” Doombringer closed the door and walked over to their desk, unzipping his bag. “I’ve been… hesitant to ask you this, but I’ve finally decided to.” He got out the flowers. “Would you like to be my partner? You wouldn’t have to do anything you’re uncomfortable with, and you’d get tons of gifts from me.” Doombringer said quickly, anxiety lacing his voice.

Clockwork sputtered for a moment, his face showing shock before a smile of joy slowly replaced it. They stood up and walked around the desk to face Doombringer, cautiously taking the flowers from his hands. “Of course I would, my love. Forever and always.” Clockwork took Doombringer’s hand and placed a kiss on it.

Doombringer was extremely relieved, a sigh escaping him as he allowed himself to relax before pulling Clockwork into a kiss, allowing them time to pull away if they wished to. But they didn’t, they even deepened the kiss.

Doombringer dominated the kiss with, not possessiveness or dominance, but love. After a long moment, Doom had to pull away to get some air.

“I love you, Clockz.”

“And I love you too, Doomz.”

Notes:

I wish I knew how to write more in my stories, but writing takes so much time. How are authors irl doing this everyday for a living. How do they finish books so quick
